The hype is absolutely real about Discount Tire, East Broad location. I'm currently waiting for my car and the customer experience has absolutely been delightful. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Walking up to the counter, I was warmly welcomed and they confirmed who I am and gave me an approximate wait time. The location is clean as well with adequate seating spread throughout. Speaking of the seating - the chairs are quite comfortable. I'm personally a fan of the minimalist interior and open showroom. It's also awesome that you look into the bay at any time to check on your car. I really appreciate that all the employees are wearing masks and that there are partitions up as well. Had a tire with a slow leak and took my car back to Discount Tire on East Broad in Blacklick Ohio. Worked with Eric, who was friendly and professional. The technician found that the tire needed to be replaced and I was ready to be hit with full cost replacement since the issue with the tire was not the tire's fault. Instead, Eric managed to prorate the tire and while I had not purchased the extended, full warranty, I was looking at paying a fraction of full price for the tire, along with installation, etc. The total cost of replacing the tire was a relief. The tire came in the next day, as Eric had promised, and I was only out 30 minutes in their expansive waiting room waiting for the tire to be put on the wheel, balanced and replaced. Left the tire for repair and was called when it was ready a few hours later (on the day before a holiday with no appointment). I've been a customer of Discount Tire for about 15 years now beginning in Grove City where I lived for most of that time. After moving to Buckeye Lake a couple years ago I had to change locations so I've been doing business with the location at 6959 E. Broad St. and they've been nothing but great! I purchased 4 new tires from them in Oct. 2019 and for some reason I kept getting vibrations in the steering wheel at highway speeds. I took the vehicle back to them 4 times for rebalancing since then and each time it would be a little better but the problem still persisted. Well today after 12,000 miles they replaced 3 of the tires. Big thanks to Jeremy, Larry , Kelly, and a couple other technicians who were involved in changing them out. So far very pleased with Discount Tire & this location. Had the tires wanted which no one else could seemed to be able to obtain (michelin defender ltx m/s)....Costco, Dealer, & other retailers told me "out of stock", Costco took my order and then sent me email 4 weeks later canceling it. Appointment was a long wait however when calling the store to confirm 3 weeks out Doug advised "you can always drop it off in the morning & we will work in into the day" so apparently they leave open time for drop offs. Did so this morning ~9:15am and was completed before noon. As impressive was the price.....~$100 less than Costco, Dealer (who gets all of the maintenance in this vehicle) had promo "Buy 3 get 4th for $1" yet Discount Tire still ~$50 under that price & they were able to get the tires which, as previously mentioned, the others could not. The guys I spoke with were very professional. Overall experience was fine. This was the second time I've been there to buy a tire after a tire failure. I went in on my doughnut, the bad tire in the back of my car. They mounted my new tire and put the spare in the back of my car. The first time, I asked if they don't stow the spare in its place. The manager acted surprised. He went out and found my spare lying in the back of my car. He acted all pissy and re installed my spare in its place. This time I didn't even ask. Great place! I can't say exactly when this location opened, but it is fairly new. I drive by frequently and they appear to always be busy. I found a screw in the tread of one of my tires the other day so I called around. Other local stores quoted $25+ to patch it. This place told me that they did it for free. I thought maybe there was miscommunication and that it was probably free for people who had purchased tires there. Regardless I went over there today. Walked in just before 4 pm. Two people in line in front of me. Dustin, the salesperson made sure to acknowledge everyone in line and let us know he'd be right with us each time he moved to the next person. He walked out to the car with me to take a look, got some info from the car, and took me back inside to get my info into the system. Told me probably around an hour or so. The Tech, Alan came in, told me they patched the hole left by the screw (they do it properly by patching from the inside, not just plugging the tire) and that was it. No charge. I questioned it and was told no charge. Both Dustin and Alan were professional and friendly. They had free bottled water, coffee, and the place was clean. I was in and out in less than an hour. It was great. I highly recommend. When the time comes, they will get my business for tires. read more

This location is the perfect example of phenomenal customer service. I walked in with my parents looking for new tires on my car. Lawrence was working at the counter and acknowledged us even though he was busy with other customers and calls. As soon as he was able to help us he did. We told him our concerns with tires and what we were looking for. He recommended the best tire with keeping a reasonable price in mind. We decided on tires and told him we were in a bit of a time crunch if they could possibly get it done same day. He told us to come back at 12:30 and everything should be done. When we came back my car still hadn't been taken in yet, and Lawrence knew we were crunched for time so he said he was going to take it in and get his hands dirty and he did just that. He also told me to come back to put a new tire sensor on one of my tires for free since they were running behind. When we returned a couple days later for the sensor replacement Eric was at the desk and was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this location, as I will always return. read more

I drive my car for a living and put about 30,000 miles on it per year. For this reason, the last set of tires I purchased were Goodyear run flats. (You know, the kind of tires you can run over police spikes, or maybe you've seen the commercial where they shoot an arrow into the tire, and you can keep driving for 50 to 100 miles without fixing). I chose runflats (even though they are a bit pricey) because every day that I'm not on the road costs me about 200 dollars. Anyways, I noticed a horrible noise in my passenger side rear tire well and thought I either needed rear brakes or air in my Tire. (With run flats it's very hard to see if your tire is flat because, when they do go flat, they don't drop to the ground like traditional flat tires do). Since rear brakes are way more expensive than free air, I tried putting air in the tire first. When I went to the air pump my tire wouldn't accept any air, so I thought maybe the valve stem was bad. After putting off this repair for over 2 weeks and 500 MILES later, I finally stopped by Discount Tires on E Broad Street and asked if they could tell me if the valve stem was bad, and give me an estimate on fixing it. The technician came right out to my car, checked a few things, and then had me pull into a bay. I told him I was working and didn't have much time. He assured me it would only take a few minutes to diagnose the problem and he was right. He tried putting air into the tire and got the same results I did. He said he'd have to take the tire off and see what was wrong, but it would only take a few minutes. Once he took the tire off we saw there was a hole on the inside of my Tire big enough to put 4 fingers in. I was SHOCKED! I couldn't believe I'd been driving around on this tire for 2 weeks like that. I told him I didn't have enough money for a new tire until i got paid so I'd just have to wait. He informed me how unsafe it would be to continue using this tire and asked me to hold on a minute because he wanted to check something. Two minutes later he came out from the back with a tire, the same size of mine, that someone had traded in and said he could put this one on until I had enough money to buy a new one. I asked him how much it was because I only had x amount of money until I got paid and he said "No Charge". I almost dropped dead!!! He also said "I can't let you drive on a tire like that. This tire could disintegrate at any moment hurting you or someone else". I was like damn....he's right. As Brandi M. said in her review...YOU TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE...I'VE NEVER HAD CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THAT- ...EVER. Don't bother using this joint! I came here for tires to be put on while I worked across the street... Out of convenience. They busted my stud by cross-threading my lug nut.... Charged me $61 for it (can't drive the car without it!!) and scammed me for an alignment! (My car has 50k miles) My boyfriend called them out on their BS of "it came here like that" and "every car needs aligned yearly" These guys are scammers and liars...and even when someone who knows all about this stuff confronts them.... Blown away by the customer service in this store. I had all 4 of my tires replaced on Saturday and by Sunday night I already had a flat. I took it in and they said it most likely would need replaced but that the warranty would cover it. They would have to order my tire into the store but it would still be ready same day and I could pick it up after work. The process was so simple! This is an honest shop. I had been told at Grismer Tire at E. Broad St. and McNaghten Rd. (after having four tires rotated and having them refill a continually low tire) that I may have a bent wheel rim causing the low tire. Well, the tire was totally flat in my garage, so I filled it enough to drive to the above Discount Tire Store, just open this summer. Nick walked out to the parking lot to greet us - he was really nice and friendly. Zeke and another repair technician took the car to the hydraulic lift to check out the alleged bent wheel rim. They said no way was the wheel rim bent, but there was a nail stuck in the tire. They fixed it with a plug AT NO CHARGE. What a relief - I could have had a blow out! Grismer Tire should have found the nail in the tire - they lost my business. But now, I highly recommend Discount Tire at 6959 E. Broad Street. read more

I purchased 4 tires two years ago from the Reynoldsburg location. Since then the Reynoldsburg location closed. I recently had a flat tire and had to be towed as my car does not carry a spare. My towing only covered 13 miles for free. The Broad Street location was the closest but it was over 33 miles from where the flat occurred so I had my car towed to the nearest tire store. It wasn't a Discount Tire location. However, after calling the Broad Street store for Discount Tire, the manager said if I brought in the car and the flat in he would give me a partial refund. It only took a few minutes for them to examine the car and the tire and give me a refund back to my credit card. I was very happy as that helped pay for a portion of the new tire. read more

Came in today to get my tires rotated. I had just purchased new tires from the shop I use to work at in Lynchburg Virginia (Harris Tire) the reason I didn't purchase tires from here is because I get tires at cost. We drive back and forth to Va so it's worth saving $250.00 (an 8 year old can understand that) Well Zeek told me "why didn't I purchase them from here" I explained why (hence above) he proceeded to tell me "I take advantage of their shop" I literally argued with him for 10min about about the tire situation. How f'ing dare say I take advantage of the shop. PLUS I had a couple swelled lugs and they charged me $12.00. Seriously? I was stuck on their lift and nothing I could really do. I'm at tire discount (different shop just flip the word) as we speak getting my oil changed. I asked them about lug replacement and was told "as long as you don't have a key lock it's free. Lug nuts cost about $0.60 each and we don't charge" plus tire discount does free rotations REGARDLESS if you purchased from them. I will NEVER go back there.
