    Free weight area
    Isaac R.

I am a student at SFSU, and this gym opened up my first semester! The free weight area is not big, but I am able to get everything I need to done! They do have platforms which are great, however you have to sign up for a 30 min time slot, which can lead to a long wait time or a rushed exercise! There is also a pool and rock climbing! Along with basketball courts! Overall a great gym if you're a beginner-intermediate!

The studio, the golf course, the sunset and the glass window!

I've read most of the reviews. And I'm so upset that someone have no gratitude for this gym! First I'm an alumni. Mashouf was my favorite place to go while on campus. It's a brand new building, it has two pools, jacuzzi, sauna, two floors. My favorite thing to do in the gym was swimming in the pools at dawn, then have a drink (plastic) in the jacuzzi while enjoying the sunset. Sometimes I would go to the studio on the second floor to do my work out. It's kind of like a private room. And across the building, it's the golf course. When it's sunset, the sunlight come through the glass window or wall; when you are tired, you look at the green grass at the golf course to get relaxed! It's the best gym center ever!

    Crap equipment

I never yelp but this gym is garbage. Their equipment is cheap and don't have basic equipment like a t-bar row, seated row, the bench is crap. One time i was told i couldn't bench without putting clips. Generally you shouldn't put clips on if you're working out by yourself so you can slide the plates off if you struggle to lift them. Pretty disappointed my tuition goes to this garabgeness. Aesthetically is looks nice but if you're serious about working out I wouldn't go here. Most weights are worn out smh.

The gym itself is great but their hours are just so bad on weekdays and weekends it's just too limited

The drinking fountains do not work unless you have a water bottle. Seems like a health hazard to me...

The San Francisco flight was a bit dizzying but great and the T-Rex dinosaur experience was fully computer-generated but still a lot of fun. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and features immersive details like tilting seats and wind effects from fans. It would be nice if they also added mists when you fly over the ocean. It's wasn't too expensive I believe it was $15 for adults and $13 for kids. Its something different to do if the weather is not great.

I did the flyer ride. It is about a seven or eight minute ride, It was a lot of fun. It's one of those where you sit in the seats, and then the floor drops out from under you, and it is like you are flying over the city. The wind blows in your face, and when you were going over the water, you feel just a little bit of a spray. I don't want to give anything away, but it does take you all over the city. It was really a lot of fun. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because the flyer ride is a bit expensive. It's $14 per person, adult or child. That wasn't too bad for myself, but if you are more than two or three people, it can add up. Regardless, it was well worth the money for myself to do. I wouldn't come back to see the same movie, but if they changed it, I would ride it again.. This ride is also part of the "San Francisco city pass. I had fun.. Thanks!

Then I kept going! When I got to the conservatory of flowers, I turned around and went all the way back and down past rainbow falls, Lloyd lake, past Hellman hollow to Spreckle's lake, said hello to the Bison and took a left and exited just past chain of lakes. What an adventure! I saw red tail hawks, blue jays, blue herons, all kinds of ducks, two turtles and of course the Bison. There are some beautiful views, art exhibitions, interactive displays and tons of photo worthy spaces. There are these beautiful pianos set up throughout the park for the public to play which I enjoyed practicing on. So many of the local plants are blooming so the flowers and trees sing with life. I stuck to the pedestrian trails but there are so many options off the beaten path for both hike vibes and bike rides. With the unique variety of San Francisco weather, it can go from overcast to sunny in a matter of moments, so it's always nice to have layers.
