Chicken sandwich, Italian sub, Motz sticks.
    Arley L.

Food was pretty good. It's right in front of the Cooperstown dreams park so it makes for quick access if the ballpark concession food isn't cutting it. They have a nice outside area sitting, big dinning room inside and looked like you could reserve tables. The walls are decorated with baseball memorabilia and also the walls have pins from teams that have visited Cooperstown, which is neat. The younger kids up front were nice, the food was pretty good. We went in for a quick lunch and didn't want to wait for a pizza but the sandwiches were good. The chicken sandwich was really good and the mozzarella sticks were nice and cheesy.

Quick place by the Cooperstown Dream park to grab dinner or lunch. Very no frills, can easily bring a baseball team here. Staff were all friendly. Food was okay. Nothing spectacular. The Italian sub was good. Not worth the $16 price. But for a quick lunch that is better than the Cooperstown Dream park concessions, this place is a worse a stop. They have plenty of onsite parking as well.

Here is a pizza joint conveniently located directly across from Dreamspark. As soon as you go in (during the Summer I'm assuming), pin trading is always going on. Service was actually pretty quick considering how busy they were getting. We got there early to ensure we would check in to Dreamspark as soon as they opened. We just got a NY Style pie to hold us over until check ins began. The sauce had a nice taste to it. A subtle "tang" in the background. Slightly too thick for my preference but I'm more of a thin crust kind of person unless it's a Sicilian.

Son and I were looking for a place away from Main Street to eat and this place got decent ratings, so we decided to try it. It is located right across the street from Cooperstown Dreams Park, so I'm sure they get tons of business from travel baseball teams. They serve both beer and hard liquor. We ordered a large all meat pizza and mozzarella sticks. This was more than enough for us two big eaters. I'd consider the pizza as just average. It did have a good crust, but the flavor was uninspiring. Service was excellent and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside for large groups. I imagine a ball team of youth would think this place is great, but not the type of "New York" pizza I was expecting.

Stopped for lunch in between games and was very satisfied! The pizza was amazing!!! The wings were wonderful as well. The staff is really friendly and greeted us with a smile. Great environment and clean!

Tuna on a Roll for $15 and this is exactly what that gets you...no toppings and no side.

We tried Buona Sera for dinner after our daughters rowed in the Saratoga Invitational. Sunday…read moreevening; called for a reservation, but not necessary. Got seated right away in the "Lake Room" and got served right away. The Lake Room has a nice view over Saratoga Lake, and the ambiance was good for family dinner, except for a couple of loud tables that made it hard to hear everyone. I had a bourbon Manhattan that was perfect - not so dry that it tasted like a glass of bourbon and not so much vermouth as to make it too sweet - and really smoothed off the afternoon - then a glass of St Francis Cabernet to go with dinner. Appetizers were pan-fried mozzarella and the Shrimp Limoncello. The mozzarella was "Made with Our Fresh Homemade Mozzarella, and Breadcrumbs, Served over Marinara." Light, slight breading and fried just enough with a perfectly sweet complementary red sauce. The Shrimp Limoncello was "Three U-10 Shrimp Sauteed with Roasted Garlic, Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes and Limoncello, Served with Grilled Bread." Shrimp were cooked just right, not overcooked, as happens many times with shrimp, and the tomatoes and bread were complementary and tasty, but the limoncello was a little too much lemon, not enough cello. (a little more tart than we liked) 2 entrees were the pan seared salmon over risotto with a request to undercook the salmon somewhat, which they honored, and it made the salmon very moist and tasty. The Roasted Garlic and Basil risotto was excellent - rice not overcooked, perfect with a deep warm roasted garlic flavor. My Eggplant Parmesan was prepared the old fashioned way with thinly sliced eggplant properly drained and sweet with an ultra thin breading fried just right with a delicious marinara sauce and plenty of mozzarella, served over house-made spaghetti cooked al dente. Ample enough to have half for lunch the next day. Oh, and I had a side order of broccoli rabe - slightly bitter, as it should be, with ample garlic flavor cooked perfectly. Excellent. The fourth entree was Shrimp Aglio E Olio - "Sauteed shrimp, broccoli rabe, roasted tomatoes, in a garlic and olive oil sauce. Served over spaghetti." Once again, large fresh (not meaning not previously frozen, just clearly not old) meaty shrimp cooked perfectly - still moist with some crunch with a wonderful pungent garlic sauce over that perfectly al dente spaghetti. My daughter loved it. Also enough for lunch the next day. Desserts were homemade tiramisu and lemon ricotta cake with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. Tiramisu was classic and delicious. Lemon cake was a little dry but tangy and tasty, especially with the full-flavored raspberry sauce. We only get to Saratoga in the spring and fall for the rowing races, but this will be our go-to place for post-regatta dinner any time we're around. Very very good. Not cheap, but one doesn't mind when it's well worth the price.

Best margarita pie and calzone in town! Hands down fresh mozzarella and garlic in the set tomato…read moresauce for the pie. The calzone is one size and can feed two starving people or 3 people who want to share. The staff and owner are so nice and we're accommodating to my niece who had a wheelchair. I definitely think it's quality vs quantity here. But don't get it twisted because they do get busy so call ahead if you need a pie.

Where do I begin!? First off, the pizza was beyond bad. Hardly any cheese, no flavor, weirdly…read moresweet... just not good all around. The main reason for the review though is the service! There was one male employee that was probably the most rude employee I've ever encountered. We were in line to pick up and there was a decent line behind us and one lady in front of us. We were all talking about being excited about Cooperstown but still listening for our Turn. The employee then asked the people in the back of line to start a new line. The lady ahead of me was like "oh excuse me but we are in line to order and pick up..." and he said "welp you're too busy talking so oh well!" The lady said "what? It was never even our turn!" He ignored us and kept taking the other people's order. The lady that got to skip the line kept looking back at us with apologetic eyes. She finally said sorry and I told her "don't be! It's not your fault!" The employee overheard and said "you're right, it's not her fault, it's yours". Then he called someone's name, whose food was ready, gave them about 5 Seconds to claim it and then tossed it to the side and yelled "hope you like cold food!" I would rather eat a frozen pizza from Aldi than ever stop in this joint again. You want good pizza? Drive to Cooperstown and eat at that Sal's! Great customer service and yummy pizza!
