Experience is the key to this review, food was decent and we brought a baseball team in and it was decently busy. We had a pizza order and the people in front of us who were on our team had their pizza for 25 minutes at least. I went up to ask the cashier about the order status; the key here is I was extremely polite and cordial. In fact we were all having a great time. When I asked the cashier, the guy who was making the pizza must have overheard the conversation and completely lost his mind and became threatening and got in my face. I asked this guy to calm down and it seemingly infuriated him more... What a disappointment, atmosphere and customer experience are keys to a customer experience and I would never spend a dollar in this place and encourage Everyone to never come here and potentially be treated like that. read more

Food was pretty good. It's right in front of the Cooperstown dreams park so it makes for quick access if the ballpark concession food isn't cutting it. They have a nice outside area sitting, big dinning room inside and looked like you could reserve tables. The walls are decorated with baseball memorabilia and also the walls have pins from teams that have visited Cooperstown, which is neat. The younger kids up front were nice, the food was pretty good. Here is a pizza joint conveniently located directly across from Dreamspark. As soon as you go in (during the Summer I'm assuming), pin trading is always going on. Service was actually pretty quick considering how busy they were getting. We got there early to ensure we would check in to Dreamspark as soon as they opened. We just got a NY Style pie to hold us over until check ins began. The sauce had a nice taste to it. A subtle "tang" in the background. Slightly too thick for my preference but I'm more of a thin crust kind of person unless it's a Sicilian. read more

It can get crowded. Kids loved the pizza. I had the chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was grilled nicely. I had a turkey sub another day.. it wasn't a big sandwich and the bread was fresh! Son and I were looking for a place away from Main Street to eat and this place got decent ratings, so we decided to try it. It is located right across the street from Cooperstown Dreams Park, so I'm sure they get tons of business from travel baseball teams. They serve both beer and hard liquor. We ordered a large all meat pizza and mozzarella sticks. This was more than enough for us two big eaters. I'd consider the pizza as just average. It did have a good crust, but the flavor was uninspiring. Service was excellent and there is plenty of seating both inside and outside for large groups. I imagine a ball team of youth would think this place is great, but not the type of "New York" pizza I was expecting. read more

This place is mobbed with baseball kids. We ordered two nights while in Cooperstown. First night I was amazed how many people were there at 11pm and how efficient they were cranking out pizzas. We ordered a large combo and it was okay, it lacked toppings. The second time we ordered a burger and a couple of pasta dishes. Burger was horribly cold. We came from San Diego to play at Dreams Park and Maskots is right across from the entrance. A great place for some good food and drinks and A/C in-between or after games. Maskots was tasty, fun, and entertaining. They did a fantastic job accommodating our team families with pizza, pitchers of soda, and pitchers of beer. They were awesome showing off trading pins and looking at our team pins. We can back a second time as a family and enjoyed the bbq wings and a Sicilian cheese pizza with a couple of fresh baked cookies. Delish! (Highly recommend) Even though they were very busy, they were friendly and fast! At one point my kiddo spilled a soda all over the table and before I blinked staff ran over to our table and helped clean it up even coming back a second time to wipe and make sure it wasn't sticky. I recently moved to the area and heading to Pizza in like three months. I have driven past Maskots several times and the place was packed! On my way home yesterday I stopped and ordered a slice of pizza and an order of wings. The pizza was not bad the crust was really crispy. I thought $18 for six wings was a little much I have to say I stopped in here for a second time I was wrong it was $16 for eight wings which is a lot to me. I ordered 2 slices to go extra crispy I waited 20 minutes it was absolutely horrible. Just to hang out for the rich who obviously have no palette at all Pizza was bland no sauce barely any cheese and it wasn't even extra crispy. Gold mine since it's across from dreamscape. The location is great if you are headed to Dreams Park because it's directly across the street. That's where my positively ends. I ordered Tuna on a Roll and it said it would come with pickles and chips for $15. I've attached what I received. No pickles, no chips, no lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no cheese. It's just literally tuna on a roll FOR $15. When I tried walking back up to the counter to ask, I waited behind someone ordering a pizza. The lady taking orders could see me and knew I'd already ordered and received my food but didn't ask what I might still need. The person in front of me proceeded to take the orders of EVERY member of her team as they arrived and cashing out with each person's card. People were line jumping to get their food fixed because it was all wrong and still the lady at the counter didn't ask me if I needed anything quick. A guy actually walked up to the side and bought a beer when there was a pretty long line very visible. Food didn't have flavor and service was pretty bad. The space is pretty big and the wrap around porch is large. So, if you don't care about price, food quality, or time, stop in. Otherwise, look elsewhere. read more

Fantastic venue for team party. We played at All Star Village and drove 30 or so minutes and was well worth it! Kelly and her staff were extremely accommodating with our party of 40! Maskot's has a really cool pavilion behind the main building that is perfect for team & family parties. The staff was very busy the night we went there yet the service was awesome! This was the best restaurant in Cooperstown! Not only amazing food, but the atmosphere was the epitome of a family owned business that took care of there guests! We had a team lunch here my son's baseball team after we toured the Hall of Fame. Sal, the owner, was so accommodating. We had a game change which delayed everything, but he worked with me and had everything set up and ready for the boys when we arrived. Tray of baked ziti, garlic rolls, chicken wings, and pizza. We came here for a dinner with our team and I was the first person to order food and pizza. Over an hour later, others in our group who had ordered after us were almost finished with their food and our pizzas still hadn't come out. If you're coming here for a meal and plan to get pizza, I highly suggest you order it an hour or more before you plan to actually eat. Very disappointing.
