The movers made contact when they were en route to my location, and showed up on time. All three of the movers introduced themselves, and post my tour of what they needed to move, they went to work. Our move was sizeable 3bd apt in a house to a 2bd smaller townhouse. They disassembled, reassembled, and arranged furniture in the most effective configuration. They were real people who truly cared about the job they did. They also understood how stressful moving is. My move took 6 hours and they were moving the entire time. He said things like" get away from us and let me do my," most likely because they didn't want me seeing them drop a large antique china closet 3x. I was in my house I can be whenever and say what I want. They are getting paid and even my neighbors heard him. He told my mom. My parents had another move already scheduled with them different gentlemen showed up this time thank goodness but before they even started moving they asked for their tip! I've tried to contact the office several times especially about the first gentleman's behavior cuz it was almost abusive and nobody answers and you cannot get a hold of anyone. I'm guessing cuz they don't want these type of phone calls. The three men today said that the company tells them to ask for the tip In the beginning and my parents did buy them lunch as well and I was going to let it go but this is the second horrible experience in the first one the man was actually verbally abusive to a degree where I had to actually stick up for myself and yell. If they did a good job it might be worth it but I'm not sure that any of them actually are experienced in this I've had several moves myself and have never witnessed people dropping furniture like this or asking for a tip or being rude. I know I can't act like that at my job that's for sure!

We paid for the service and the insurance, yet all they do is ignore the delays, the broken items, and the damage they caused. We left voicemails, emailed multiple times, and submitted messages through the portal's help section, and still nothing. At this point, we need to escalate this because almost everything they moved or stored came back lost, broken, or damaged. We're not letting them get away with this.

Moving is obviously very stressful, but all these guys kept the day light with jokes while maintaining professionalism and ensuring our furniture and home was safe and undamaged. Our stairs are narrow and steep, and the team had no issues getting all our furniture upstairs unscathed. The truck is huge and has a ramp to make the loading and unloading process faster. We were informed that TVs and glass panels for some shelves aren't insured but that they would be happy to wrap them up and transport them if we wanted. We opted not to because of the giant pot holes in the area, so it was super nice that they warned us! I would absolutely recommend Corrigan Moving (especially Danny's team) to anyone in the area. While I hope to never have to move again (soooo many boxes), if I do, I'll call these guys back without hesitation!

To give context, I had a recent cross-country moving experience with an entirely different moving company that left me pretty traumatized from their level of deceit. This was NOT the case with Gentle Giant. They gave me accurate quotes. I was also able to readjust my list of items to be moved, and was reminded it was based on hours.
