So the first massage I had, at the Marblehead location, was simply terrible and left me in severe pain. Elaine, the owner, called and offered a free massage done by her in order to make up for the previous situation. My massage from Elaine was incredible! That is how a massage should be. Before I went in I wasn't even able to bend down or do much moving at all without hurting my lower back. Immediately after the massage I tested and attempted to stretch my hamstrings - I could! I can feel my muscles are still a little tight in the lower back but I know I can at least work on them now with stretching and yoga. I thought Elaine's quick response and suggestion to rectify the situation from before was completely wonderful and her massage made it all the better. Thank you, Elaine! read more

I came here in November for extremely bad neck and shoulder pain. I was having a flare up from a previous car accident that left me with whiplash, and my doctor prescribing muscle relaxers did nothing to help me except sleep. So I was browsing some groupons and came across this one for $35 for a 1 hour deep tissue massage...right up my alley. I called immediately after buying it to make an appointment, and Elaine was in touch extremely quick and made sure I was squeezed in the very next night (a Friday around 6 when they're actually pretty much closed!). Pretty sure I had Jared, and I definitely was relieved of pain for that hour--so much that I almost fell asleep laying on the table! He gave me some biofreeze and rubbed it on my neck and shoulders, too. I would definitely return if I have some trouble in that area again. read more

Elaine has magic hands. Firm, but soothing, she is a master at the craft of massage. Combine that with calming music, warm blankets, and a welcoming studio, it's worth driving up from Boston to Marblehead for a deep tissue massage. This was the worst pedicure I have had. I called to make an appt for a gel mani and regular pedi. I arrived to discover that it was really a massage studio with only one small chair/table for nails. I should have left then but stuck with it as I had an event that night and didn't have time to find somewhere else. But this is what you need to know --they had only 12 colors. Total. One short chair (not a spa chair) that got increasingly uncomfortable on my back because the chair is very short and you have to keep your legs up on a stool that is not stable, so I had cramps by the end. --their 'gel' was not true gel,with the UV lamp. It was the OPI gel in a bottle which DOES NOT last like real gel and certainly shouldn't cost as much --painfully, painfully slow. I sat down around 4:10 and left at 5:25 with a very mediocre pedicure--and this is with NO scrubbing, no callous removal and no massage because I did not have time for that. Just soaking, cuticles and polish. --the polish was poorly applied and the aesthetician repeatedly wiped it off on the edges, leaving dirty edges. See pictures. --Because she was so slow, I did not get to have my nails done--which had peeling gel manicure on them. So I soaked them there, peeled off the rest of the gel myself but essentially went home and quickly did my own nails for my black tie event. --despite them ONLY offering the 12 "gel" colors, and despite my asking for a regular pedi when I called, I was charged 45 for a gel pedi--which is not true gel and they didn't offer anything else. --my nails are already chipped, one day later. This NEVER happens with real gel. $45 is steep for a gel pedicure at a normal salon, but at least you get excellent looking nails for a couple weeks, plus some pampering. In short, this was a complete waste of time and money. Perhaps this is a great place for massage but do not go for nails. read more

Went here for a couples massage with my boyfriend and they were wonderful. I had Swedish and he had deep tissue. The therapists were so friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely with heated massage tables and the massage was heavenly. The therapists were clearly very skilled and experienced. Would definitely return if we are in the area again! read more

Got a groupon and they told me they have prenatal massages. They do have them, but not with the groupon which they fail to mention. Now it's useless and will expire before I deliver. Watch out for the deals and ask for exceptions. read more

Andre was fantastic! By his appearance he is obviously strong but he really knows how muscles and connective tissue....I felt so much better after a session. I would highly recommend him especially if you have specific ailments. Thank you Andre! read more
