One of the best massages I've ever had. She knew exactly where to concentrate and exactly how much pressure to use! Highly recommended!

A hyper efficient operation with hardly any waiting...everyone did their job with the utmost professionalism, care, and with good humor. I am not always easy to deal with...and strangely not everyone gets, or is appreciative of.....my humor. Everyone here did so with enthusiastic alacrity....and were parrying quite well with their own snarky remarks. Dr. Shelbourne examined my knee thoroughly and without making me scream like a little girl...thanks ! I left with confidence my knee would get better and hold up...this was quite important to me at this particular time as it is when I put together my ski trips...which are damn expensive...and the minor investment in time and $$ was well worth it to be fairly sure that I would be in reasonable ski shape this season. Pricing was very reasonable and they sent the paperwork to my insurance company to apply to my deductible. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for knee issues...

Dr. Shelbourne performed surgery on my knee a month later and I followed EVERYTHING he said to do and was back on the floor playing basketball the following year. Apparently every movement of my body was tied in through this tendon because I couldn't walk, and when I tried I would collapse. Within a day of the examination I was in surgery. Within a week of surgery i was out of the immobilizer and into a mega-robo-brace AND WALKING. Sure it was with crutches but I could already use myles and flex my quad muscle. I am now working with PT to strengthen but less then a month post-op I am walking without crutches but still with my leg brace. Amazing I had two really rough days of pain after the surgery, but they're careful to send you home with just the right amount of pain medication. Dr. Rettig was assigned to me but you could also recognize him on the sidelines with the Colts as their ortho specialist. When I was in surgery recovery, I was next door to a Raiders tight-end (who shall remain nameless). Amazing experience. Amazing group of professionals.

He has a great personality and a professional sense of humor plus explained the surgery thoroughly. He met with my husband and I before they took me back to surgery to answer any last minute questions. OrthoIndy and their staff were phenomenal from the check-in staff, nurses, surgery team and everyone we encountered. All were professional with smiles on their faces while being team players in all aspects of my care. The surgical option was a minor surgery and done under a local anesthesia. I know, that sounds scary but Dr. Vicar reassured me I'd only feel a pinch for a couple seconds. I trusted him even though the last trigger finger surgery I had was done under full anesthesia. I was wide awake and comfortable throughout the entire procedure and did not feel any pain. Dr. Vicar, and his team, was very calming and laid back during the surgery chatting with each other and myself. I was extremely pleased with the entire procedure and if needed, I'll return to him in the future. The post-op follow-up to remove my stitches was timely, friendly and I was in and out quickly. Great overall experience! Dr. Vicar repairs mainly hand, wrist and elbow injuries. Patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures (hand & distal radius), tennis elbow, athletic with throwing injuries or those nasty fingertip injuries (i.e. car doors) are a few diagnosis he repairs. If it isn't an injury Dr. Vicar handles, he can refer you to one of the many different physicians within OrthoIndy. Very pleased and surprised the local did the job.

I have been to see several chiropractors and massage therapists over the past 15 years. I can say,…read morehands down, this office is the best there is for both. Dr. Keating and his staff are extremely professional and knowledgeable about his field and in the past year and a half I have been going to this office for appointments has expanded his offering to include additional services. My first visit was through a Groupon for massage and acupuncture. I already had a chiropractor I like that I was seeing at the time of my first visit, but I was so impressed with the services at Avon Chiropractic that I decided to make the switch. The thing I think impresses me most about AC is that the staff really listen. They know your name and they not only ask about what you need, they take care of those needs. My particular healthcare needs are pretty challenging and pretty much any day I go in their office my needs are different. This is not a cookie cutter chiropractor office. Other places I have been will do the same things over and over, no matter what you tell them you need and no matter how much or where you hurt. But not this place. They focus solely on where you hurt and help you get better...whether it is through chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, magnosphere/magnetic therapy, ultrasound/STEM technology, etc. The front office staff is also pleasing to work with as well. I never have an issue getting appointments and if I have to change an appointment, they are flexible and work with me. The hardest part of scheduling is if you want to find time to get an actual hour massage appointment. Sara is really good, so you really have to plan ahead for your time with her.

Office staff is very friendly and the doctor does amazing work. I would definitely recommend anyone…read moreto go.
