I had a medical massage today at Massage Clinic in Goshen NY with Armin and it was amazing, it was so healing and spiritual, I have had a million massages and have to admit this was up there with the best yet category. first I live in Middletown, not sure why my yelp thing says otherwise. Armin was recommended for medical massage to me by my chiropractor Dr. Perry. I am an RN who has herniated disks in my neck. I was having difficulty getting through my shifts and was about to begin working in the ER( which would require more of me physically). Armin looked at me and said, " I don't do frou-frou, I fix, and this is going to hurt". Yeah, it did, a lot! but he does fix!. My medical massages are comprised of first being loosened up, next elbows, and thumbs breaking up knots and fused muscles (total torture but needed) and being stretched. He also prescribes stretches and changes in how you do everyday things Upon coming home it is a running joke between my husband and me of him asking " did you have a relaxing massage " yeah no, it hurts, but it is so needed I go to him twice a week, he keeps me functional. If circumstances prevent me from going regularly, I feel it at work and when I return for my massage. If I didn't have him, I would not be able to properly do my job. My husband and I came in here on a Saturday. Armin was beyond accommodating and sweet even though we showed up late due to my mistake. They have a large array of wonderfully smelling massage oils that they let you choose from as well as water and snacks. I was 5 1/2 months pregnant and Armin worked with me and accommodated me with a pregnancy pillow and set up. I was VERY comfortable and relaxed.
