I can't say enough good things about this place! Besides the fact that I got lost in the plaza because there are a few other massage places... I can't find anything bad to say about Massage Customs. Thanks to GROUPON, I was able to try Massage Customs. There are a ton of other massage places in Vegas and about a million of the foot reflexology places but I am pretty sure I'll be getting their 6 or 12 month membership soon. I've been super stress dealing with nursing school exams, job applications, etc and needed a massage asap. I originally went on Yelp and saw good things about Michelle so I booked an appointment with her. The day before our appointment, she called me to let me know that she's super sick and if I can take an appointment instead. I appreciated her calling me, and giving me another option instead of just having to reschedule for another day. Michelle told me to arrive 10 minutes early to fill out some paperwork. Make sure you arrive early! Paperwork isn't long, its only a page but then you also need time to meet your therapist and undress. Michael met me at the front and introduced himself and brought me to a really nicely decorated waiting area. Heather came out to meet me shortly after that. I told her to concentrate on my neck and shoulders because I know I have a ton of knots and she did! I told her to use light pressure everywhere else. Heather was very good about asking me if it was enough pressure. I'm pretty sure I dozed off for a second but it was super relaxing. She did an AMAZING job at trying to get the knots out of my neck and shoulders. I had the 90 minute session and I enjoyed every minute of it. Some places will cheat you out of 10-15 minutes but not this place! I was still in a daze/ dream state when I checked out. Wow. All I can say is wow. I've never had a massage so detailed and perfect pressure especially based on everything I needed. My masseuse was Megan and she was absolutely amazing! My friends came here different times before and had the other masseuses and all of them made my friends say that it was their best massage ever! I had to try it out! I love how there's only 4 masseuses here and all 4 are AMAZING based on experiences! I love consistent massage places where you can't go wrong no matter who you get! Massage Customs has decent pricing, legitimate massage therapists, excellent technique and knowledgeable staff. You won't go wrong with Michael. I've always come out of his massages in that light-headed happiness that only comes with a quality massage. You know how you sometimes come out of a (usually overpriced) spa massage, thinking "my issues in my shoulders really weren't addressed."? You won't think that coming out of here. Your shoulders will rotate and your lower back will be flexible enough to touch your toes. You won't even remember that pain that was aching up behind your shoulder blades. I've been here twice now with Luis as my masseuse. Each time was great. They originally came to my gym and the 15 minute massage was so good I had to go for a full session. Before the session they make sure to hear what part of the body you are wanting work on. I prefer firm pressure and Luis was always great to check in with me to make sure the pressure is good. I've been to my share of massage places from the $20 Asian massage spots to fancy wellness spas and Massage Customs takes the cake and is well worth the price. Sort of an odd place located in a business park and hidden away from the main road It sounded to me like there was a dentist office doing work right next-door and I can hear the drilling going on so that was sort of weird Everyone there was very nice and Noel my masseuse listened carefully to what I told him before beginning to work on me. I specifically told him I had one problem area and other than that was there for a relaxing massage. He must've spent a good 10 to 15 minutes relentlessly working away at my one area to the point where I could no longer tolerate the pressure and asked him to move on. The rest of the massage was forgettable and I can't honestly say I felt relaxed in anyway. The room was fine although as others have mentioned I could hear people walking outside due to the very thin walls and that was not very pleasant Overall I would have to say I would not return to this place, I would look for someplace that had a better ambience. read more

Solid 5 star massage place and not too far from my house?! I'm in!! I have made an appointment with Michael. I've asked the receptionist on the phone for someone that could give me a very strong deep tissue massage and she's recommended Michael. I've read all the good reviews about him so I was super exited. When I got here, this girl, Heather welcomed me and she told me Michael had to leave and she would be giving me a massage. I was a little disappointed... BUT GOSH, WAS I WRONG!! She gave me the super deep tissue massage that was so good. I never thought she was this strong but she was. She knows all the spots to hit to relieve muscle tension. She knows how to give relaxing deep tissue massage with no pain. She is AMAZING!!! I am so glad I had Heather to massage me. This place is so spacious and so clean. Usually, I feel dirty after I come out from massage place but I didn't feel dirty at all after I come out of this place. They use good quality massage oil and the smell of the massage room was so relaxing (was kind of lavender and tea tree mixed smell). Plus, you get $20 off if you are first time customer. Great deal!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff... my therapist was Madi, she was friendly, attentive, authentic and didn't come across as someone just treating me as a number, treated me as an actual person and her customer service/bedside manner was excellent. Takes the time to listen to you, ask you and understand your needs. Asks if she's massaging you to hard, to soft to make sure you're getting exactly the pressure you like and need. Explains to you what she's finding and/or doing (eg: finding knots and trying to get rid of them.) Just had my first ever prenatal massage with Heather. She was so sweet and she did a really great job applying consistent deep pressure and getting in to all my knots. She used oil that wasn't greasy and it smelled like coconut:) The salon/spa itself is top notch! Loved everything about it. This is a great spot that I just found. Better than any Asian reflexology place and they offer a discount for first time customers which made the massage very reasonable. A very welcoming and friendly environment and kind staff. They take time to ask you your preferences and make sure you're comfortable. It is hidden behind the front building of the plaza. Only thing I would recommend is some better signage so that more customers can find it because this place deserves to have more business coming their way! My new first choice for massage. I used to get hit or miss reflexology massages but the cheap price of those asian places is not a good deal. Massage Customs is my go-to for my massages. Both Michael and Michelle are great therapists. For example, at my last visit, my left SI joint was bothering me. I have also had massages done by a couple of the other therapists and have had several friends I referred use other therapists there and they all agree! I relocated to the Las Vegas area three years ago and due to my administrative position have headaches and neck/shoulder pain. Sometimes my job can be very stressful as well. Not knowing anyone in town I was referred by a coworker to see Michael. I reached out to him and within an hour he had contacted me and scheduled a massage for the following day. I used to go to hotels and tried several other places such as massage envy and all other places but they would lack consistency and I may have one good massage and then 4 bad ones. I have been going to Massage Customs regularly for almost 2 years now. Michael is the best massage therapist I've ever had and I've had many massages over the years, mostly at fancier spas at local & Strip hotels. I used to view massages as a special treat for myself just 2-3 times per year (along with a 'spa day'), but after going to Michael a few times and feeling so much better, I now realize it's more about my ongoing health and preventative care. They don't have a hot tub, sauna, steam room, etc.; this is more about going in & out for the service, which has become an important maintenance routine for me. Each time, he asks what we want to focus on, which might vary based on certain areas that are bothering me (usually shoulders & upper back since I sit at a desk all day for work; sometimes I might want to also focus on legs or arms based on my exercise routine at the time, etc). He is also very professional and throughout the massage, communicates well (e.g. 'more or less pressure than that?'). Lastly, it's ridiculously affordable for what you're getting (way cheaper than a hotel spa, for a much better massage). The hourly rate is very reasonable and if you go frequently, there are great pre-pay packages that you can buy to ultimately lower your hourly rate for a certain number of hours. I 'splurged' in January and bought myself the 13-hour one to use throughout the year. By the way, I never do only one hour anymore - I always book in 1.5 hour increments to get the most out of the time. And I typically go every 3-4 weeks.
