Unfortunately, although I repeated a few times that I wanted to focus only on the back and shoulders, about half the time was spent on my fingers, hands/forearms, etc. and we were about 30 minutes in before she flipped me over to start on my back. She was very pleasant and kept saying it's all connected, which I understand; but, I've had many massages over the years and never once had anyone start massaging my fingers when I go for a back massage. Although I requested firmer pressure a few times, it felt like a basic massage vs deep tissue. The studio is in a clinic and is nice and there are reserved parking spaces out front. Scheduling was easy. I had to book another massage elsewhere as soon as I left so a waste of money and not a good experience for me but probably fine for a general massage.
