If I could give NO stars, I would. DO NOT SIGN UP AT THE COTTLEVILLE LOCATION!!! Save yourself a years worth of hassle and harrassment! I canceled my membership on my birthday 2024 and have never been back only to find out they have been charging me $75 (& sometimes $80) per month ever since. I had a freeze for 3 months so I could use all my credit before canceling, which I did before leaving their location ON MY B-DAY! I've had to get a new debit card to stop them from charging me bc they kept changing the amount. Now they continue to send harassing demands for payment but I don't even have an account. If I owe $80 then I should be able to log in and use my $80 that they are claiming I owe. I've called, emailed, and left messages requesting this BS to stop and today I received another collection letter. I'm getting a lawyer and taking action against them. If you have a similar experience please hmu. I'm trying to buy a house and they have been made aware and acknowledged the account was closed when I first dealt with them. For the second time in less than 2 months, I've had a scheduled massage (months in advance). When I arrived Massage Envy Cottleville they did NOT have me scheduled. In late October they rescheduled me with a complimentary massage. This time Lacey did not apologize and acted like since something was not showing in their system, that it was not their fault. I've worked in the service industry, for 5 star hotels, and award-winning JD Power Customer Service teams. This is a lesson on what NOT to do. It is also very disrespectful of my time and energy, giving me the exact opposite of calmness and relaxation. I've been a customer for approximately two decades. They suggested a possible massage for tomorrow, but (1) I would need to rearrange my schedule and (2) did not know if it would be complimentary. Keep in mind, it is not as if I randomly show up at businesses when I do not have an appointment. Looks like it's time to move on. Too bad, really liked my massage therapist who will suffer the consequences. Prior therapists there have shared their discontent with the front office staff / owner. PS. My experience was sub par. My facial was amazing! Jasmine did a wonderful job, she was very informative and friendly. My massage was not the best. Kim was alright, but it felt more like she was just rubbing lotion on my body than massaging me. She hardly touched my feet and it was over all just not worth the money. I walked into this location 4 years ago after taking a mental health day off from my extremely stressful job, and walked out with a membership. The facility is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. I like to try new therapists, and go to different therapists for different reasons. Lancaster is AMAZING if you want to relax. John and Brad are great at deep pressure and working out kinks. Heather is the best of both worlds AND she she is an esthetician too. I love have a back to back massage/facial with her. I like Massage Envy and their monthly plan. I get a one hour massage for $50/month. If I don't use my massage that month then it rolls over to use later. You can tack on an extra half hour or hour massage and use up your prepaid massages. I think this is awesome! I have used a few of the therapists here and it can be hit or miss. My favorite therapist is Janice. She doesn't talk too much and always does her job well and I feel great when I leave. I have used others and sometimes they talk too much, but the massage is good. I have also had a massage where I left wondering why the hell did I tip this person. I'm not sure if the person was new or nervous or whatever, but it is disappointing when that happens. My wife has historically gifted me a massage every 6 months, and this is the closest one to our house, so it gets the nod for my appointments. On my most recent visit they talked me into becoming a member. They gave me an excellent rate, allowed me to transfer some of my wives queued up massages onto my account, and overall was just very nice and accomodating. I would recommend this location if you are interested in becoming a member, as I think they are very aggressive in their incentives. read more

Over priced and under-par massage. This place looks good and has a relaxing setting but the service is horrible. I had the reflexology because I love a good foot massage, she put burning hot towels on the tops of my feet which burned me, the proceeded to scrubb the burning tops with a sugar scrub!!! I've been to many Envys in the STL area, but this one is the very best! Their Front Desk people are great, always friendly, wish they didn't eat there though. I definitely am not one to complain at all.. it just makes me feel awful but that being said the two times I visited this location, I have been disappointed... the therapists I received seemed like people just totally hired right off the street with little to no professionalism involved... and to think I just paid full membership price for a massage today makes me sad...
