I had a great experience here for my first massage! My masseuse, Jeni, was absolutely phenomenal. She took the time to ask which areas I wanted her to focus on and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire session. At the end, I asked if she noticed I was holding stress anywhere, and I really appreciated how honest she was. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I wish there was a more private, relaxing space to change before and after the massage, such as a dedicated changing room or quieter bathroom. At this price point, I think that would really elevate the experience. Overall, though, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back--especially to book with Jeni again! read more

I wanted to write a review of my visit to this Massage Envy. I received a 60-minute brightening facial with Hope and was very happy with my service. Hope is a great esthetician, very courteous and professional. My service was very relaxing, and included a lovely face massage, as well as neck and shoulders. The place was inviting, the staff were friendly, and I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me extra products/services. The worst massage I have ever had. The staff is rude. To the point that I almost walked out before the massage. I had a gift card from my birthday and stayed. They not only took the gift card that covered the service I had, but they charged my credit card that they said had to be on file in order to get service (despite having a gift card) after I left and added services that I didn't get. When I contacted them about it, they were nasty and said that I didn't have a gift card. Except, I kept it and proved to my bank that my services were paid by the gift car, so my bank refunded my money. If you value your identity and credit security, steer clear of this company. read more

FALSE ADVERTISING. I was so excited that I could get in on the same day for a microderm infusion plus anti aging eye, plus neck and décolleté. Samantha had me lay on the bed fully clothed (shoes on), and the service was complete in LESS THAN 30 MINUTES. She forgot to do my neck and décolleté. I called and the girl I spoke to explained that this is not a 60 minute service and does not include the hand massage and warm towels. The website says this is a 60 minute service. She offered to include the neck and décolleté in my next service but can only honor that at the Dublin location. This facial is priced at $200! Requested a deep massage when I booked and the person who performed the massage waited until I was undressed and on the table to say she couldn't do a deep massage. As usual, they say "tell me if you need more or less pressure" so when I flipped over I asked for more pressure, and she said she couldn't do more. Waste of time and money. I wish I would have read the reviews before wasting my time with this location. My massage was not relaxing. It was choppy and sloppy. The masseuse sat through the whole massage scooting around the table knocking into it and wall. She dropped the lotion several times and even used Walgreens massage lotion!!! Why sell and advertise Murad brand?! She also didn't use enough lotion and had to reapply it literally every few seconds. At the end I almost felt like I expected too much, but after thinking about it sadly the girl was a horrible masseuse and should get another job or be retrained. The front desk didn't seem too surprised when I complained and even attempted to sell me a membership! Then ask why I refused it?! Seriously this place was a joke. I wish I could get my money back. I left angry and unsatisfied. I'm not even sure I would return if I got a free massage. read more

My beloved masseuse has moved on to greener pastures (the Powell location), rendering this one obsolete. They will suffice if you need a relaxing (non-deep-tissue) massage, however. One other note: the stupid ME-published magazine says you can request they turn off the music during your massage. This location either cannot or will not do so. read more

I hate subscription services, but now that I am forcing myself to get a massage EVERY MONTH - I can't say it is all bad. Actually, I look forward to it. When you first walk in to this office it is kind of weird because the front desk is literally right in front of the door.. it's a bit squishy, but there is seating off to the side. The front desk people here have always been kind and helpful. After you check in they offer you a dixie cup of water (I wish it was a bigger cup) and take you to a little room with 6 semi-comfy chairs where you can mellow out and wait for your massage therapist. This is where you will find the jars of peppermint lifesavers. I always eat one but I think they are unlimited.. so don't hurt yourself. When the time comes, the massage therapist appears at the door to escort you to your little room. I've been in several of the little rooms and they all seem about the same. A massage table, a couple chairs, a little shelf, and a trash can, but really, what else do you need? The therapist I usually see is Andrew he does a great job. He'll ask me what is going on and then we agree on what kind of massage I'll get. I usually get a full body massage with extra attention on my back. I leave the details to him. I highly recommend Andrew and if you are going to do Massage Envy I do like the Dublin office... and with all of those peppermint lifesavers how could you possibly go wrong? Update. I have been a Massage Envy monthly customer since 2008 at multiple locations and for the most part had a very good to excellent massage each visit - in fact, I have had only one bad massage in four years. Dave, at the Dublin location, is the best therapist for deep tissue work and general massages. He is terrific, especially if you need a therapeutic approach for medical issues versus a relaxation massage. I definitely recommend him highly. read more

I got a gift card for here & went for a massage. I never had one before. I got the full body massage, there was scented oils burning, lights were dim, the lady was very nice & friendly. I have never felt more relaxed in all my life! I just melted like butter. If I could go here everyday for like 2hrs I would!! Really takes away all your tension. Ahhhhhhh read more

The massages were always just ok, after being used to deep tissue they were relaxing, but nothing fantastic. The real problem comes if you have to cancel for medical reasons. After dealing with them for months, putting my membership on hold while trying to deal with an injury, thinking I would eventually be able to go back and finish out my membership, my doctor decided not to allow me to get any more massages. When I contacted them about cancelling, and talking to several different people, I was told I could cancel for medical reasons and transfer my services that hadn't been used. I had a total of 4, one had already been transferred to someone else, leaving 3 services. During every phone conversation prior to my actual cancellation, I was told transferring those would be no problem, and that they would even waive the $10.00 fee if I transferred to a non-member. Cut to cancellation. I take my doctor's note in to a different location closer to my home and am told it's taken care of. I get billed and I get a phone call from an employee trying to set up my service, at which time I explain I've cancelled for medical reasons, and that the paperwork should have been faxed. Although they handled that situation quickly and efficiently, cancelling the credit card charge and getting me cancelled, I am then informed the 3 services I was unable to use have to be cancelled. Which means, I paid $65.00 for 3 services that I couldn't use, (4 if you count the one I had already transferred to someone else at the additional cost of $10.0). Had I been told this during any of my several conversations with them about this process I would've transferred them before my cancellation. Either every person I spoke to didn't know what they were talking about, or they were just trying to take advantage of my cancellation by taking back services I already paid for and not allowing the transfer. Either way, it is incredibly frustrating, especially when I did everything I could to finish out my membership and only accumulated those services because I thought after healing I would be able to continue getting massages there. I recently received notice of a class action law suit against them for similarly charging for services they don't allow people to use at or after cancellation. It seems this practice is an ongoing problem that has not been resolved. read more

SO disappointing!! He seriously talked through my WHOLE massage!! He was nice but seriously this was meant to be relaxing it was my first massage come on! And second don't waist your money on the deep tissue therapy it's two hot towels and some bio freeze, not worth it! Then I got to end my experience with a ten minute shpeal about joining their membership program so basically I got talked at the WHOLE time!! I was first introduced to Massage Envy three years ago while visiting in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was able to make a same day appointment, relax in a professional atmosphere and found the customized massage to be affordable... what a great concept! The therapists listen to my needs and communicate with me through out my massage sessions. I was happy to learn that it is a national franchise and the wellness program can be used at any Massage Envy location nationwide. I now frequent the Dublin and Powell Massage Envy clinics and make massage a part of my wellness plan. read more
