It was all I could think about. I yelped chiropractors near South Riding and called around. The first two did not even see new patients on Friday afternoons. Dr. Schleifer was the third office I called and had a 3pm opening on Friday (it was 12pm on Friday when I called). A new and nice office building with ample parking awaited me. He was at his desk when I arrived and was very pleasant. After about a 15 minute assessment he applied some muscle stimulation and heat therapy. That was followed by an adjustment along with instructions to ice my shoulder and neck that evening. The therapy worked more than I could have imagined. I was able to play in a softball game and have no ill effects of my neck injury the next day (saturday) and have only slight discomfort today (sunday). I'll go to a follow up session with him this week to make sure I've maintained my healing process.

After we redeemed our gift card, there was an issue with gratuity. When we were gifted this a few years back, our friends mentioned they had added 20% tip. I believe the price of the massage went up, which makes sense. However, the front desk person made it seem like prices haven't changed and it was odd that the tip was so little. It would have been nice if they were just honest with why the top was much less now, which is probably because the price of the massage went up. I would probably check out another place.

We even enjoyed the indoor pool, and now THAT was a vibe! So relaxing, peaceful, and therapeutic. Later, we changed into the King Spa uniforms they provided and explored the lounge, cafeteria, and sauna areas. This facility has SO much to offer from multiple saunas and massage rooms to a variety of treatments you can imagine. There was also a great selection of healthy food, drinks, and snacks. My girls and I spent 2+ hours enjoying the entire experience, relaxing, laughing, and soaking up the vibes. Needless to say, we'll definitely be back! I took my son for an afternoon and found prompt service and a locker room that was orderly and modern. There was a service assistant there who helped explain the layout of the spa, pool, saunas, massage station, cafeteria, and other amenities. For those who haven't been to a Korean spa, it begins with fulling disrobing and locking up you clothes, and you'll have a digital key bracelet to access your lockers and purchase services. When entering the spa areas, which are separated by gender, you take a shower and enjoy dips if spas of various temperatures ranging from hot to ice cold. There's a stream room and dry sauna, and then you have specialty saunas and an ice room in a common area. If you want to schedule a massage, make sure to schedule it as early as possible, as they get booked quickly. The rooftop pool was gorgeous, and the lounge comfortable and spacious. I just enjoyed the general splendor. I highly recommend taking the trip for King Spa. You won't be disappointed.
