Rebecca Nawroth in the last week I moved to Fairfax 2 years ago from Los Angeles so of course my expectations were high, but I finally found a place in the area that not only meets my needs, but exceeds my expectations. I recently had my first visit to LifeSpa and it was AMAZING! A friend recommended the place to me for Botox and dermafiller. Who ever scheduled my appt via phone was extremely friendly. When I arrived a few days later for my appt the lady at the front desk was very friendly as well. The atmosphere was nice and the chairs in the waiting area were cozy. Once I went back with Erika Berry, the nurse practitioner, we talked about what I wanted the outcome to look like and she gave me her professional opinion (and I was not pressured to do anything I didn't want unlike some other med spas) and we discussed the price. I've been getting Botox and dermafillers for a few years and I'm super excited to say that I've FINALLY found my "home" Medspa. Erika is up to date on the latest and greatest injection sites. For example, I wanted filler in my lips and before doing that, she suggested putting a little Botox above my upper lip first as that lifts the lip up just a tad and then I might not need the filler. You know someone is the real deal when they offer you less expensive choices. I walked out of LifeSpa feeling like a million bucks. I've already made my next appointment and I can't wait. read more

I was invited to their pickleball session on Thursday evening. Lifetime is one of my fa favorites. I really wish we had one in DC. This was an hour drive from DC. Great pickleball courts. Locker room wasn't as clean as the other lifetimes I have been to. The steam room was smelly and sauna wasn't clean as well. The other lifetimes I had been felt like a nice spa with fragrances in the steam room. They have great workout facility similar to other lifetime gyms. read more

I have been wanting a facial but I have very sensitive rosacea skin and I have been hesitant to get a facial for fear of irritating my skin. After speaking with the LifeSpa staff, I was told that their estheticians are very knowledgable and understand how to deal with all types of skin. I did not regret my choice to get a custom facial with Victoria Gallardo in the LifeSpa. My one hour facial with her was so relaxing and soothing, I came out feeling renewed, not to mention that my face felt fantastic and has been glowing for days afterward. She saw my skin and knew exactly how to treat it and I will definitely come back to see her. I highly recommend seeing Victoria for a facial. I also left with some great products that she recommended. A little TLC goes a long way when you have a busy schedule. read more

Lorena did a fantastic job on my hair! I had a gift card for the spa and decided to try a cut and balayage for the first time. Lorena took time to ask questions and look at pictures of what I wanted. She made sure what I was asking for was realistic and good for my lifestyle. She spent so much time with me we closed the place down! I will definitely be going back to see her again and the price was totally reasonable. read more

I love Lifetime Spa in Ashburn! Angela Brady is amazing!!! First of all she is stunning! She's also an exceptional manager and she actually uses the products and gets all the treatments to help her clients with first hand knowledge of everything they offer. I come here for my massages with Kim Bielski who has knowledge of sports injuries and treatment and has a great personality. Also I love my hair service- highlights and haircut with Stephanie Daryabeigi who is so precise and technical with her color work, and so fun hang out in her chair and get pampered. And I'm most excited about Botox Barbie Erika Barry who is an artist with her filler, Botox and Kybella. Her work is flawless and results look completely natural, but better! One of the perks of joining Lifetime Fitness is the discounted spa services you receive during your first month. I chose to have a facial while my husband had a much needed massage. The spa is inviting and clean. I was offered water as I waited for my aesthetician to take me back. Appointments started right on time - in fact my husband's masseuse was waiting for him when we arrived. I have sensitive skin so I typically have a calming facial to combat the ruddiness in my face. That is what my aesthetician recommended this time as well. I have to admit when we were done, my skin did look less ruddy. I love the shoulder/neck massage during a facial and I typically like a heavy touch. She did not disappoint - great massage. When it was all done, I just felt so relaxed. I also liked the fact that no products were pushed during the facial. That's not always the case. I really appreciated just being able to relax without the hard sell on their products. Really a great experience. This is a full service salon/medspa. They offer hair and nail services as well as massage, facial, peels and even laser treatments. Child care is available in the gym and I believe if you are a non member, you get a free day pass to the gym on the day of your service. read more

Rui is the best massage therapist I have found in the area, I have tried many other places and did not find a therapist I liked until coming here. The rooms and massage beds are very comfortable. I like that I can work out first, enjoy a message, then finish with the Jacuzzi, Steam and Sauna. read more

I recently went in for a deep conditioning treatment and came out super relaxed and my hair looked so much better! I love that the lifespa is attached to the gym, which I visit everyday. I can't say enough good things about it and not to mention you get 3 hours of childcare. I am a mom of 2 and trying to fit in beauty appointments can be tough. I needed a color and cut at the last minute and had not been happy with my previous salon, so I made a call to LifeSpa. Although I am a member of Lifetime, I had never used their salon services. Again, very last minute and was pleasantly surprised when Fariba was kind enough to fit me into her schedule. No disappointment! I just got the best massage in my life with Rich. I never thought Lifespa would be so great. Highly recommend Rich, he is a professional, he does his job really well. Those were the best 60 minutes I could spend in a spa. I enjoyed every minute of my massage and it was worth every dollar I've paid. As a mom of 3 I also appreciate the fact that I can leave my kids in the play area where there is a wonderful child care provided by Lifetime. Had a bad experience at lifespa this time when I went for my haircut appointment. Here is how it went.. I had an appointment and went there on time. At the spa, I asked the lady who checked me in 'how much would the haircut cost me today' to which she gave me a price and said I have a 20% discount coupon so that would get applied as well. I was ok with the price and she led me inside to the hairstylist who would do the haircut. Hairstylist spoke to me briefly about the kind of haircut I wanted and then took me inside for shampoo. While she was shampooing my hair she told me that her price was $80 and $15 additional as I have long hair. I was a bit perplexed as I had already discussed the price so why was this lady talking to me about it and the price was way off from what was quoted to me. I told the stylist 'the lady at the check-in already gave me a price, does she not know what you would be charging?' To which she said the well I'm not sure but this is my price. The thing that pissed me off was - why would you talk about the price after you have shampoo in my hair, what am I supposed to do now? I would expect this kind of treatment at a place where they absolutely no clue what customer service is, but not at lifespa!! read more

I got a 60 min massage, while my mother got a manicure and pedicure. All were great! Andrea did a wonderful job with my massage. She made me feel very comfortable and really worked out the knots in my shoulders and back. I would highly recommend getting a massage here. VERY RELAXING! read more

I booked an appointment to get my eyebrows done. After waiting for about 10 minutes I was informed that both of their people were booked for another 45 minutes. The woman at the front desk apologized and told me after I'd already been waiting that she didn't have me booked for an appointment. While she did genuinely seem sorry, making a customer who had an appointment wait 55 minutes for a service that should take no longer than 15 minutes showed extreme disrespect for my time. I ended up canceling my appt and will not be coming back again. read more

I came here for a cut and blowout for the first time. The stylist I had was very nice but she did not use proper blowout techniques. It took her over 2hrs to blowout my hair. It only takes other salons 45min when using proper techniques. It also wasn't as good as other places. Towards the end she had two walk-in clients come in and she rushed through my cut. My layers look choppy and not blended. I ended up going straight home to fix my hair. While the stylist was very nice, I'm disappointed with the results. read more

Had THREE services done in one month and I can only rate ONE of them as satisfactory. The first appointment was for a massage. Instead of feeling relaxed and refreshed after the massage, I felt sore and beat up. The therapist did not even ease up after I said "ouch" and "that really hurts" several times during the massage. The other service I got was a 60 minute facial and actually ended up having a 22 minute facial but got charged full price. How does that work? Well, when the therapist shows up for the appointment 10 minutes late, takes 10 minutes to actually take you back to the facial room, then takes a 10 minute break during the facial to find cotton swaps but comes back smelling like cigarettes, the time gets cut short. Also when you factor in changing to get ready for the facial and then getting back into your clothes to leave, the facial was 22 minutes total. The last service I received was a pedicure. I have to say it was wonderful but the other two bad services cancel that experience out so I won't use them again for any service. It's a shame since I am a member of the gym. read more
