By far the worst location I have ever been to. My appointment started about 10-15 minutes late, but still ended right on time. I received a facial and it was mediocre at best. The tech skipped the facial massage "because she didn't want to spread bacteria around" but I suspect it was really because she was running late but still wanted the appointment to end on time. So, if you have a massage & facial scheduled, you will need to undress& redress & undress again. It's a bit of an inconvenience. Come on, Massage Envy!! You are supposed to be better than that!!! Good place to go for a not-creepy massage. Everyone is always nice and friendly. There are some quirks to Massage Envy that I think are confounding some of these other reviews (strong feelings from some other yelpers, Jesus...), but I've been to many locations in other states and it's pretty much the same occasional schedule glitch or points mix up. It's always been handled well and this location is no different. The therapists are always nice, I'm not big on deep tissue, I mostly go with the wife for a date night once a month, and they are able to accommodate us well, they have good hours and are close to our house. This location is nice, a lovely respite from a noisy strip mall. I would have given the place a good shout out, but the 5 stars is for a young Rockstar aesthetician named Hailey. 90 minutes of total bliss bookended the deeper cleansing and ecstractions which were a little more aggressive. I told her I wanted clean pores, and that's exactly what I got, and rock on to Massage Envy for great products too! My mom bought me a massage for my birthday here since I'm from out of town. I have never been before so I said I'd give it a try. My first red flag was when the front desk girl explained to me that my 90 mins would include the time for the therapist consultation and disrobing so not actually a 90 min massage. I met the therapist and he seemed like a nice guy. He had decent pressure but didn't seem like he knows his muscle anatomy. His lack of flow and constant stopping made me think he was inexperienced. I came in with a kink in my neck and right side of my body rhomboids, traps and low back needing attention. The left side of my mid back got most of the "rubbing". My "full body" massage left out my head pectorals and feet. I kept waiting for the massage to get better, but it didn't. And before I knew it. It was over. I was not relaxed. I didn't not get the attention to the areas of my body that needed it. When I was asked if I had gotten relief form the front desk I told her no, she wanted me to get in with someone else. No Thanks. The front desk is always friendly and very helpful. I always feel like a part of the family when I go in there. I've tried several massage therapists and they've always been great. My favorites are Dena, Anna, and Jack. They help me get rid of my stress and relax but also work all the kinks out. I have chronic migraines and back pain and I leave my massage feeling better than ever. The clinic is clean and inviting. They have a "quiet room" which is tranquil and allows me to relax before my massage session. There is water and hot tea you can help yourself to. I can get a great massage for $59 a month and additional massages for only $39. It's the best rate I've found. Facials are only $49. read more

However, I received the best massage of my life today from a massage therapist / angel - Elisa - to the point I just created a yelp account to rave about her. She is completely in-tune with the client, her techniques work on problem areas, while still providing an enjoyable massage. I love this location, I'm a regular at one of their other locations and even though that location is very professional I love the Green Valley one better because of the staff. They make you feel so much more comfortable by making conversation with you and being very knowledgeable of the products they offer. I would of never have thought to get a facial at my previous location but because the front staff talk to me about the process and the products used and how great the esthetician is at what she does and their personal experiences. Awful experience! If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I've heard so many negative reviews of this location! My boyfriend and I should have known better. My boyfriend pays monthly out of our joint account to have a membership here. They allow you to ' transfer', a massage or facial or whatever service at the request you pay a 10$ transfer fee, which we knew. He wanted to cancel his account there because he rarely has time to go in as he is so busy. They recommended he use up his remaining time that he had built up. So he very kindly made me an appointment for a facial. Again, I expected the charge of the 10$ transfer fee, but at the end of my facial the girl informed me I owed 59.99$. I said there must be a mistake, as my boyfriend made the appointment after his last massage. ( I gave his name and information, yadda yadda explained the transfer fee I expected ) The lady who had made the appointment said it would be absolutely no problem to transfer a facial to me. I am six months pregnant mind you, so I was looking forward to being able to get out of the house for a relaxing hour. The girl quickly checked again and said that there must have been a misunderstanding because I HAD to pay the 59.99$ before I could leave! I would not have gone for a facial or service if it was more than the 10$ transfer fee because they already take from our account monthly! I couldn't believe they would not let me leave. My boyfriend was busy watching our son. So in their attempts to call him it was to no avail. They made me sit there over 30 minutes!! I finally said I would pay the fee just so I could leave! I was so surprised at the lack of professionalism! The manager explained I couldn't leave until i paid, so I did. ( Even after explaining over and over i hadnt even made the appointment, it showed my boyfriend had. Yet they didn't seem to put a note that it was a transfer? ) So they made their mistake MY problem?? We had just purchased a new car and literally after all our monthly payments had about 70.00$ left in our account. I explained that they already take from our account monthly and we would have around 10.00$ left if i paid! I wasnt even sure my card would go through. I was mortified! It was an extremely stressful experience to say the least. They still have not refunded our money, even after they talked to my boyfriend and realized their mistake. ( moments after i paid ) The environment seemed so unprofessional. We will not be renewing a membership there again! To make up for their screw-ups, they booked me for the following week and gave me a free extra half hour. So disappointed, I went to another location and got an appointment that same day. Cancelled my Green Valley Pkwy. appointment and told them not to bother calling me ever. This place had their behind above their shoulder.
