Call to book directly and ask them not to switch your massage therapist. Normally, you should receive a courtesy call if a change is made, but that hasn't been my experience here. According to Zen Massage, new clients are given the lowest priority, which is disappointing. I've been to many massage places in town and haven't run into this issue elsewhere. Unfortunately, when I booked online again, I expected to see the therapist listed in my confirmation but was assigned someone else. I had my first ever massage a couple of weeks ago with Emily. It was a Swedish massage. It was amazing. Emily was the massage therapist and she was amazing. She explained everything and did a great job. So good that I came back today for a deep tissue massage with Emily. She has the magic touch. She used just the right pressure and did an amazing job. I will be back routinely. Thank you to Emily for being so amazing. The front office staff has been great too. I have spoke to two different girls up front and both were very professional. I've had many different massages. The massage was sub par. The masseuse didn't really care much of my areas identified - just the technique on massage wasn't great. The website says 60 min massage including dressing time. But really they didn't walk me back until a few mins after and gave me too much time to change. So basically you are paying for a 40-45 min massage that was sub-par. The location has no amenities, but does have a room and seems clean. But for the amount you pay it's like an expensive foot massage place. read more

This is my new favorite massage spot. Before the pandemic, I had a membership at one of the national chains and I never wanted to go back. After trying 5 or 6 different massage spots in my area, Zen has the right balance of quality massages without breaking the bank. I have been back about 6 times now and I'm definitely finding the right therapists for me. I also like that the menu online is straight forward and there are no membership fees. TBH, I haven't had a bad massage there yet. Some give more at home recommendations than others, but to me, that's extra service. If I want cupping, I can add it online. I am a deep tissue type guy and I love that I can customize what my needs are. I've been dealing with a pinched nerve and ever since going here, my pain and numbness has subsided. I always hesitate to write such glowing reviews for my favorite spots because I don't want them to get crowded, but these folks are amazing and deserve to be complimented. Horrible experience so last year I went and the masseuse by the name PERLA was attempting to solicit the entire time. I did not enjoy the massage at all. The next time I went I went with the other lady very professional and she let me relax. I Tipped both times however today. We booked appointments and the photo attached is what we received after booking an appointment. I recommend massage envy or somewhere else. The manager called and said he was the Owner named Jerry all he did was say sorry that's not fixing the problem at all. If we cancel an appointment it's our fault so they wasted my time look at what they sent. 2/5 for service. 0/5 for quality. MASSAGE ENVY IS 100 % better. Perla is only working there because she makes 50% of what we pay so remember that before you tip! My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage on October 17. The front desk receptionist was very nice and welcoming. My massage therapist was also kind and asked if we wanted deep tissue massages, explaining that the Swedish massage would be more for relaxation. We chose the deep tissue, but it didn't really feel like one -- the pressure was quite light, and we didn't feel much relief afterward. My boyfriend's massage therapist had a runny nose and was coughing throughout the session, which made us uncomfortable. He also mentioned that his massage only focused on his upper body and didn't include other areas. Overall, while the staff were friendly, we didn't feel the massages were effective, and the experience wasn't as relaxing or professional as we had hoped. read more

The warm massage bed also helps with muscle relaxation, helpful for intense deep tissue massages. I'm a regular and although there are some great masseuses (Tracy/Theresa), there is one that is not. Ive had her three times now and she is just terrible... I had to write this review because Ive now spent over $400 on her services. I hate saying that because she is nice, but there is absolutely no way she has had any sort of training. I think this is indicative of the fact that she is always available on the website when you book. So I scheduled a craniosacral massage, which is a very specific massage targeting the face, mouth, head, neck, and upper shoulders. I know there is very specific training to this type of massage. I expected it to be good also because it's a more expensive massage. Unfortunately, a couple hours before I was set to arrive, they texted me that they needed to switch masseuses on me and I got stuck with this same masseuse. I knew deep down inside it was gonna be bad and I knew there was absolutely no way she had training on this type of massage, especially for 60 minutes straight. I was right. The majority of the massage was spent on my legs feet entire back and arms, which is not what I paid for. I thought it was going to be solely on my skull,face, etc. but I already knew there was no way she had enough training to know techniques for an hour on my skull and neck. When she was doing weird pushing on my skull she was like... let me know if that's the spot. The spot for what? If you're doing this type of massage with people's necks and heads, you should know exactly what you're doing. It was if someone asked me to massage their head and I just was trying to figure it out. She also rubbed the front of my throat. Wtf? The other weird position was having me face down in the face rest, but turning my head to the left and right to where my nose was smashed in the headrest while she pushed down on my head. It was so bizarre. And lastly, please don't put a certain product on your customers skin without asking. I have allergies to everything and was unaware of a certain product being put on my skin. I question the training in this area altogether at this business. unfortunately I think at this point I'm going to have to find another place since Ive had too many bad experiences. And in response to Jerry... just because she does this massage multiple times a week... doesnt mean she knows what she's doing. She is terrrrrrible. read more

I've been having some chronic lower back tightness and shoulder pain so wanted to find a place that would have an excellent massage therapist for a Deep Tissue Massage. Many places I've been to in the past didn't quite have enough pressure for a deep tissue or use the right techniques, so was curious to give this place a try. I read through reviews, booked my appointment, and was definitely not disappointed! Cecilia was really good at her massage techniques and definitely worked through some of the knots I had accumulated over the last couple of months. I did the one hour massage (realistically about 50 minutes) but it was everything I needed for a reasonable price. A solid massage for the price! My brother gave me a gift certificate to Zen for my birthday and I'm so glad that he introduced me to this great spot. Most importantly, my massage by Adianez was great. It was better than a lot of massages I've had at high end spas. It was relaxing and she used a good amount of pressure. Hot towels were used to gently remove lotion from the back and feet. Here's what else I loved about Zen: - easy online booking available - open until 9pm most days (yay for late hours) - 60 minute massages start at $59.95 My only suggestion would be that they get a warmer for the lotion so it isn't cold when applied for the massage. Honestly, I am ECSTATIC about my experience today and think I found my new massage therapist!!! I'm a completely stiff KNOTTED person. My neck is sometimes limited in movement depending on the day and I have boulders for knots throughout my back. Deep tissue usually doesn't do it for me. I usually need extra pressure and elbows, but my massage therapist worked wonders! Pressure was perfect and every single knot was worked on! I booked a neuromuscular/trigger point massage with Taryn. I used to go to a sports massage place so I'm familiar with this type of massage, but unfortunately the massage therapist I always saw had moved. My consultation with Taryn was short and sweet and gave me exactly what I was looking for. She got straight to the point and targeted my neck to my glutes. Pressure is very deep, just what I wanted! Taryn is strong!!! Next time, which will be in a couple weeks, I will book a 90 minute massage with her. It was pure relaxation and after I felt more range of motion instantly. read more
