In early October, I scheduled a facial appointment for October 21st with a specific esthetician. The day before the appointment, I did not receive a confirmation text, so I contacted the location directly. I was then informed that my appointment had been incorrectly scheduled for November 21st, not October 21st. The staff rescheduled me for October 22nd with the esthetician I originally requested. Upon arriving for my appointment on October 22nd, I was informed that the esthetician I had specifically booked was not working that day. This was extremely frustrating and confusing given the prior rescheduling. I was encouraged to proceed with another esthetician, which I reluctantly agreed to. Before the service began, I asked to redeem my reward for a neck and décolleté treatment, which I had used many times previously. I was told that rewards could only be applied to massages, which contradicted my past experiences and the program's prior flexibility. During the facial, while I was lying down with my eyes closed, the esthetician improperly positioned the hot steamer, causing burning to my face and direct contact with my eye. I immediately screamed in pain and panicked, especially given that I was scheduled to be married within three days. Despite the severity of the situation, there was no sense of urgency from the front desk staff. The manager was not on-site and only instructed staff to have me complete and sign an incident form. No immediate medical assistance or concern was offered. I requested to cancel my membership, but was told I had one remaining package that needed to be used within a month, without being informed that a refund was an option. My fiancé (now husband) immediately took me to urgent care, where I paid $75 and was diagnosed with a burn, scarring, and a corneal abrasion. Due to the proximity of my wedding, I was referred to an ophthalmologist the same day for proper treatment, resulting in an additional $45 expense. I attempted to contact Massage Envy corporate, which was extremely difficult. When I finally spoke with a representative, I requested reimbursement for: * $75 (urgent care visit) * $45 (ophthalmology visit) * $75 (unused service package) Total: $195, along with accountability and additional training for the staff involved. Months have passed, and I have received no response, refund, or resolution. I have since learned through an acquaintance that the esthetician I originally requested was actually working that day, and that staff provided inaccurate information and were enforcing their own rules inconsistently. This experience caused significant physical pain, emotional distress, anxiety, and negatively impacted what should have been one of the most important moments of my life--my wedding. The lack of accountability, follow-up, and concern has been deeply disappointing. I don't not recommend anyone to go to this location. However, if anyone does go to this location, I strongly advise others to proceed with caution, as there appears to be a lack of professionalism, consistency, and responsibility for client safety. read more

Great pre-cruise stop if you're staying nearby at hotels. It's walkable ! I stopped here with a last minute appointment for a pre-cruise stop and needed to de-stress and take away my upper back/shoulder neck pain. Reasonably priced too ! The location is so convenient to me in the Lee Vista , closer than the Waterford one. I started the membership for help with a shoulder/neck/upper spine injury from a car accident. I can barely move it sometimes and they always work their magic to get my range of motion back in the neck. This injury has been flaring up often so I'm grateful to have somewhere to go for relief. Lately, my favorite masseuse is lois for the deep tissue injuries. I've transferred my massage credits before to family and friends and they've enjoyed getting a massage for a gift. You can only transfer to each person once every 6 months for $10 transfer fee, so it's not unlimited sharing of packages. I love how quiet and calm the area and the studio is. I love this location. It's always quiet, clean, and great service provided. Products are always suggested for purchase, but never pushed. I see Taylor on a regular basis for facials. She got me into chemical peels, which I was hesitant to try at first. She explains what she's about to do, the whole way through, and what I can expect to feel at each step. She allows for any rest intervals needed if the intensity of the peel becomes too much; fanning my face. After a couple of months I see visible results I'm happy with. My first time here I got a massage from a lady, I wish I remembered her name as I wouldn't return. This time I went to Daniell and Lauren. Daniell was a really good masseuse - I typically fall asleep in my massages but I didn't this time. But she did listen to me and then explained what she'd be doing. I got a deep tissue massage and it felt great. From that I went and got a facial from Lauren, at first I felt like I was inconveniencing her as it seemed like she was just slapping product on my face with her fingers. She didn't explain anything, I'm used to the aestheticians explaining step by step and it was dead silent the whole time. I am a member here at Massage Envy- I normally ALWAYS enjoy every facial and massage that i receive. However this facial that i received from Lauren today was terrible. The front desk staff was wonderful as always. However my facial was very rushed & painful... My facials are always so relaxing until this appointment. I felt like the Esthetician threw a bunch of products in my face, as she didn't mention what she was doing at all nor what she was using. She was very rough with me, maybe she would have been better for a massage session not a facial. Their prices are really reasonable too, especially if you decide to do the membership. The front desk staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My facial was with Tanya, she was awesome. She really listened to my skin concerns and helped me pick out some products that would be most beneficial to me and help tone down the redness in my skin. I've gotten two massages here with Madelaine and she does a fantastic job. I feel incredibly relaxed afterwards and less tense. I used to go to the Massage Envy at Waterford Lakes to see my esthetician there but unfortunately,​ our schedules no longer line up. I am so so grateful that this Lee Vista location opened up because it is conveniently located closer to me than Waterford Lakes and the staff so far have been superb. I now see Mautrice for my monthly facials and I highly recommend her! Trust me, I have had my fair share of experimenting with new estheticians and booking whatever is available only to be disappointed​ that I wasted a session on a poor experience. I have been to this location twice now my first massage was absolutely phenomenal a great deep tissue massage and I felt wonderful when I left as well as for the next few days. My second visit unfortunately I can't say the same I had Lauren as my masseuse and was not pleased by any means I have had deep tissue massage many many times and never have I ever felt so uncomfortable and hurt. She continued to massage the same place over and over and over again especially right over the top of my shoulder Blade she didn't use enough oil or lotion so she kept pinching my skin. I asked her to focus on my neck and all of my back and those were the only places that were really bothering me she worked on my lower back for all of maybe 2 to 3 minutes and upper back and neck for the rest of the time. The whole massage with her was an unpleasant experience to say the least. The next day my shoulder blades feel like I have been hit by a freight train as they are extremely sore today. After I came out from my massage lady at the front desk asked me how my visit was and I proceeded to tell her everything that's in this review and how unhappy I was. She stated that she would speak to Lauren and give me a call back later. I was hoping that when she calls back that she was going to offer me to come back in and receive a massage by someone else however when she called me back she stated for my next visit they could give me a free upgrade and not put me with Lauren anymore. I explain to her I didn't feel that that was right as I had come there for a massage and was extremely dissatisfied also The visit was cut short in total I was in the room for 50 minutes. The lady at the front desk explained It should be 60 minutes with the consult the after consult and the massage however both consults and the massage where exactly 50 minutes together. As stated before I explained to her I didn't feel just an upgrade was good enough and she said she spoke to the owners and they would give me an upgrade and that was it because it didn't cost me anything for me to come and get this massage that I was unhappy with because I had a voucher for a free massage. I don't think that whether or not I paid for the massage or use the voucher for the massage I should still get what I was supposed to. My previous first experience I was so pleased that I had signed up for the monthly membership now on my second one the fact that the company didn't wish to make me happy I don't want to keep my membership. I use massage every month Sometimes twice a month because I had neck surgery last year and massage really helps. All they needed to do was offer to have me come in with someone else and I would have been a happy customer but instead they would rather lose a monthly paying customer then to do what was right.
