At first I was a little lost in getting to my appointment because the gps took me somewhere else in the shopping center. When I called, the young lady in the front helped me find the location. When you come in you are put in a waiting room that has water and some mints. Niurka was super prompt and we started the massage at 11:05. Horrible all around service. I had an issue with a 90 minute massage getting cut short due to the massage therapist being in a rush (Stracy was the therapist). I asked front desk to have a manager contact me since they had already charged me the credit of something I didn't complete. The manager never called. I contact them a few days later and spoke to a Jr Manage Camille and she offered me a 30 minute credit to compensate and explained that she wanted me to come back and try the location and that the credit she applied would only work at this location so I booked another massage to try and see if this was just a bad moment since I have been a customer for over a year. At this next visit (also booked with Stracy) I waited till my appointment time however when he came to get me he declined the service and stated that I had lied about the appointment being cut short (which they have cameras and are able to see my check in and check out time) obviously I requested for a manager to contact me which again no one did and I had to contact them yet again. On my conversation with "Camille" she explains that Stracy was never told anything about the complaint so not sure why he acted so unprofessionally and to add she tells me that she wasn't notified that I had requested a call back, so in short the just gather that this location needs new management and a whole new team: from the Masseuse which is extremely unprofessional and made a huge scene in the lobby to the front desk that doesn't relay information properly to management. I had an awful experience at the Miramar location. I've had many massages over the years, and I have never experienced anything like this. I purchased a 90 minute massage and was really looking forward to some much needed relaxation! About 15 minutes into the massage, I started hearing crinkling and crunching noises coming from my massage therapist. At first, I wasn't sure what was happening and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. However, I soon noticed the distinct smell of cheddar on her fingers. It became apparent that she was eating while actively massaging me. She continued rubbing my entire body while eating, which made me extremely uncomfortable and left me questioning how sanitary the situation was. I didn't know how to react during the massage, and I wasn't completely certain of what was happening until the appointment ended. When the therapist stepped out of the room and told me to get dressed, I looked over and saw an open bag of cheddar popcorn on the counter, with popcorn crumbs scattered across the counter, the floor, and even on the massage table where I had been lying. The following day, I called Massage Envy to report what had happened. I was told that a manager would contact me. It has now been almost a week, and no one has reached out. Overall, this was an incredibly unprofessional, unsanitary, and disappointing experience. I expected a clean, relaxing environment, not to have my massage therapist eating during my appointment. I caved. I went to Massage Envy after years of being told repeatedly to go. Then again, it was a necessary evil. Originally I was going to go to the Miami Lakes location. However, the day I selected, they had no appointments available. As a result, I chose to go to Miramar as it was the next closest. When I registered online, I was overwhelmed with all the options and even the payment system. Apparently they have a deal that if it's your first time, you get a discount, so call and inquire. I spoke to Destiny and she made the entire setting up an appointment process a breeze. When the time finally came for my appointment, I showed up early (and you should, too) to fill out my paperwork. Then I was led to a relaxation room where I briefly waited to see my masseuse, Sandra. Now I don't know about the other masseuses, but Sandra made me feel completely at ease as she led me to the private room. That woman's hands are like an angel. It kind of felt like my back was being played like a piano but not a soft melody but something passionate, quick, intense, and oh so relieving of the hell that are knots. I've been beyond stressed with work and study, but this session really helped. Lynette at the counter was a doll, too, and well, I'm officially a member now. I think it's seriously needed. Stay away from this location. I was a happy member for two years until a few months ago. Some of the staff are thieves, and management does nothing. I received a confirmation email for my appointment when I was scheduled. When I arrived at my confirmed appointment, they informed me I had missed the appointment supposedly scheduled 2 hours before. I even showed them the email. They blamed the mistake on a computer glitch in THEIR system but still wanted to charge me twice. The nerve! What seems to have happened: They switched my appointment after I received my confirmation so that the massage therapist could double book and then 1. Wanted to charge me for the missed appointment while they took another client in my scheduled time slot 2. Charge me again for a new appointment. This is a scheme so they can double book and charge the customer twice. The kicker was on my last visit before I cancelled the membership. The receptionist rudely and out loud demanded me to give a minimum $15 tip for a 60 minute massage. Holly is the most amazing aesthetician and I highly recommend her but as for everyone else I would say use another location. Herea what happened with my most recent visit -- I had a massage booked and they had no clue what was going, I had to wait over 20 minutes which clearly cut into my service time. It was specifically a prenatal massage and I did not originally receive a prenatal massage until I mentioned something, the chery on time was the service ending right at the scheduled time so i only received 30 minutes and PAID for 60. The lack of organization and knowledge of the front is seriously not up to par to ME standard. The worst part is the management gives you zero resolutions and pretty much told me to call corporate if I wanted to escalate my concern. They also never have inventory so don't even think about buying anything or drinking water for that matter because they rarely have cups. I had an appointment today @1pm with Jacklyn. I was extremely disappointed my appointment was suppose to be medium pressure and a foot scrub. She walked in as I was changing and then knocked again 5 seconds later. I then laid down and she was very rough moving the pillow and not gentle and slow where a massage is supposed to be relaxing. On April 19th my daughter and I scheduled our session.@ 8 o'clock . The Setting is very stunning & amazing . I had the membership a Few years ago and cancelled due to them not keeping track of massages you use and those you have in your account to be used. I decided to give them another try BIG MISTAKE!! I have been member for almost 2 years now (of course during these COVID uncertain times) they insist that I o have a number of sessions left and are short but that is not even the beginning ... not the big problem - the real problem is that I requested to cancel - 3 times finally I came in to use a session and was able to get the form there fill it out and this would be sufficient for cancellation the for the past 2 months they still have gone into my account and taken payment I sat on the phone with my bank today for a half hour fixing this - ended up having to cancel my card because it was the only way to ensure that they will not charge me again Who oversees accounting in this place ? The best Massage Envy location in the area. We've been visiting this location for a couple of years. The front desk staff is always attentive & courteous. Their scheduling is well organized. Location is clean & maintained well. The only variable is the therapists. Some are better then others. I'm not sure if they can screen for performance when hiring a therapist. If you let the front desk know what your preferences are, they usually do a good job matching you with a therapist that can provide the massage modality you requested. But, there is always turnaround at these places. So, if you find a therapist you like, request them & you'll be fine. I've never used their add-ons or their facial services. But, the staff does a good job of making the customers aware of the services without being pushy. There is another Massage Envy close by on Pines. But, we've had a few unpleasant experiences there. If you are in the Miramar/Pembroke Pines area, definitely use this Miramar location. read more

Front desk staff is pretty nice and friendly with the exception of one employee who is a little more on the serious side. So far I've had two massages with Monica and I'm very pleased. Her energy is everything, she's extremely sweet and has great techniques to get all those knots out. Will be trying another therapist next month because I've heard great things so hoping my experience will continue to be as positive. read more

Today was my first visit to a Massage Envy. Typically, I like to patronize small businesses; however, I thought I would give this big franchise a try due to its convenient location. I have received multiple massages/facials in the past and am familiar with the day spa experience. I arrived 45 minutes early to complete the typical paperwork and relax before my two-hour massage. Unbeknownst to me, this is not like spas I am used to. They do have a customer lounge away from the front desk. However, the lounge was not what I am used too either. There were no snacks or beverages to wet your palate in the lounge. I expected at least a cookie and/or water. My massage was great with Nunka. However, the massage wasn't exactly two hours. It was more like 1.5 hours. We started right at 3pm and we stopped at 4:40pm; check out the photos I posted and look at clock. A two hour massage should be two hours. Overall, I enjoyed the actual massage services and the staff were nice. However, if you are used to more pampering, and want a real day spa experience, go elsewhere. This is a no frills place... No robes, no lockers, no snacks, and no beverages. If you are looking for a place for just a good massage without the fluff, Massage Envy may be right for you. read more

I had my very best massage here with one of their therapists and I'm a regular! I've been a member of ME for years, starting in Palm beach and now in Miramar. I use my membership whenever I travel for work or whenever I'm out of town and in the mood. But never have a had such an amazing massage as I did here. The staff are friendly and helpful and while the "lounge area" isn't as nice as some other ME locations, I've always been happy with the professionalism of the staff and therapists and their prompt scheduling. I've been burned at OTHER locations where twice my reservation was never made, having me show up to no massage available. This was my first time here. I decided to get a facial and my friend decided to get a facial and massage. It did start off alittle unusual because we were told that one of the specialist that was booked for our facial had a family emergency and asked to come in early. They also offered us a complimentary add on service for the inconvenience. As we walked in we were greeted and then told that we have to fill out some information. They asked for basic information then gave a quick consultantion about my skin and if I had any allergies which I can appreciate, so I won't have any reactions to anything that they put on my skin. After that we were given the option to stay in the lobby in front or the tranquility room. We choose the tranquility room. Which was dimly lit, had soothing music and very relaxing. We were early to our appointment so we waited about 10 min. Then we were greeted by our specialist. The girl I got was very friendly and asked if I would want any water or to use the bathroom before my session. I was asked to lay down on the facial bed. Which was very clean and neat. It also was heated which I really liked. She started with a few questions to see which facial I should get and because I have acne she decided to do he resurfacing facial. She started off with some steam. Then proceed to clean my face with some cleaners. The next thing was the extractions. Which I won't lie hurted a bit but that's normal. Then I got a mask and in-between I got a neck massage and arm massage which I really liked. The mask was massaged off with a hot towel which was very relaxing. The massage was 60 mins long. I also go to choose my complimentary add on which I could choose from the following lip treatment, hand scrub,foot scrub, neck and decollete treatment or a eye treatment. I choose the lip treatment. My facial was $55 and the massage is $55 as well. The complimentary treatment was worth $10. I'm not too sure if that's just for first time guest or if that is the regual. They did also tell us about a wellness plan that is $65 a month and you can get a facial or massage every month. Overall, I was very satisfied with my service here. I'll start with the only reason I'm giving a two star rating is because of the atmosphere. It's pretty much inline with any other massage envy location, very serene and comfortable. If your looking to experience the stretch offering by Massage Envy do yourself a favor and stick to the massages. In short it sucks! I only did the 30 minute version because I wanted to compare it to the Stretch Zone. It was a joke and a waste of my time! They ask you to complete a questionnaire so they can be aware of the type of service you want and the areas of concentration. Let's just say the massage tech did the complete opposite of what I had written down on the assessment. They should discontinue this stretch component all together, just because the level of training (or lack of) that the massage techs have. Today's experience was disappointing to say the least. The massage employees are very nice, however I can not said the ame from the front desk employees. Is a miss or hit, you never know when you will have a nice and professional person. I went to Massage Envy for my birthday. Because of my experience, I purchased one of their packages. During this time I had only gone 3 time. My 2nd visit wasn't worth the drive and the last visit was a turn off due to the therapist half doing the massage which ended early. I put the acct on freeze per their suggestion for 2 months. Afterwards, I decided to cancel the services because again in 1year I had only gone 3times. Needless to say, I have been giving nothing but problems and still haven't been able to cancel the account. Therefore, I had to transfer my funds to a different account to stop the automatic withdrawal. I was told after 3 months of non payment it would automatically cancel it self out. Well it hasn't! Every month since then, this company has attempted to deduct payment 5-6 time per month. The manager had a poor attitude with resolving my issue. Sadly, I had to contact their corporate office who referred me to their regional office (due to the Miramar office being a private franchise). Currently I'm still getting the run around. I prefer the 9:00PM appointments as it's always empty and much more relaxing. Every receptionist is very helpful and informative. I do appreciative that they don't asking multiple times if I want an add-on treatment. Monica is my masseuse and she's stupendous. Prior to appointment assistant manager authur called and asked if I want to remove interval have have facial right afterwards; I decline due to wanting a break in between. Furthermore once I arrived for massage I was lead to the back by masseuse who gave very mediocre massage who seemed to have started timer before we gotten into room. After massage I wait in my vehicle for 30 mins then proceeded inside for facial at 9pm scheduled. The esthetician was very welcoming, informative and was the only staff who made me feel as a customer; unfortunately due to the atmosphere of the business is seems everyone was rushing and ready to go home. Why have open operations without positive work ethics, and fulfilling services. not only was my facial less then 40 mins total, my forehead have multiple scratches.
