I only booked this massage because I had extra ClassPass credits and thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, it was disappointing from start to finish. The scheduling was a mess. ClassPass showed my appointment for Wednesday, but the office called me on Tuesday asking where I was. After that was sorted out, they contacted me again on the day of my appointment--less than two hours before my scheduled 6 p.m. session--to tell me that my time slot was no longer available and that I would need to come earlier instead. I adjusted my schedule, but when I arrived, I still had to wait another 15 minutes because the massage therapist was late. The massage itself was unlike any I've experienced. The table was uncomfortable and squeaked throughout the session. The massage felt unstructured, with the pressure constantly switching between extremely hard and extremely light. I rarely felt any actual muscle work with the therapist's fingers--instead, it was almost entirely elbows, knuckles, or palms. More than half the session was also done while the therapist was sitting in a chair. After the massage my ribs and neck were both sore. I've been getting massages for 15-20 years, and my mother was a massage therapist, so I've experienced many different techniques. This was, unfortunately, the worst massage I've had. I hope the business improves both its scheduling and the training of its massage therapists. Even visiting a well-established clinic like Massage & Spa or another reputable spa for comparison could help provide a better sense of how a structured deep tissue massage should feel. read more

I had the pleasure of booking a facial with Melissa. I found her through Groupon. Easy to book an appointment. Her space is clean and comfortable. Melissa is super nice and professional. My facial was really good. My only complaint would be that it was quite cold. Though it has been extremely hot in Miami, I would have been more comfortable with a light blanket. Great service and reasonable pricing. Ample parking, keep in mind there is construction on the parking structure. So, you do have the option to valet or park down the street. read more

If I could out no stars I would. This was supposed to be a Mother's Day gift to relax and this whole experience had been a nightmare! First off, my appointment was rescheduled the day prior due to a masseus not coming in to work (mind you, I had this scheduled a month in advance). Second, I rescheduled, and it was rescheduled again for the same reason! I was upset and asked the manager, Hans, to help reschedule my appointment. He offered weekday during working hours which I was unable to commit to due to work and having a six month old. I mentioned weekends or Friday afternoons are best. I also mentioned I prefer a female masseus. He continued to offer dates that I had already mentioned were not an option and make masseuses. I was fed up and my husband called to try to help me coordinate an appointment. The manager had the audacity to tell my husband that I was being difficult which is why I haven't been able to use my voucher. After many back and fourth he apologized to my husband and myself and said he would help us. We d he filed a third appointment. I arrived to that appointment, they were running an hour late.... Due to a masseuse calling out. While I was waiting in the lobby, the roof started leaking, definitely a hazard, especially in a small waiting area. I advised the staff I would only be able to use 1hr of my voucher and not the 90mins since they were running an hour late. I was finally seen and the massage was underwhelming to say the least. This business is a scam! I purchased a 90 min massage for my niece and everyone she was scheduled to come in they would call and cancel. My niece has a newborn and organizing child care to be able to get a massage is a thing! Finally I called the owner cause the Groupon showed used and told him we wanted a refund. He assured me that if we gave him one more time her experience would be amazing . I trusted him so I reschedule an appointment for her. I texted him twice before the actual appointment to ensure that there would be no issues. He guaranteed me there would not. My niece arrived and apparently they had overbooked the therapist and she had to wait an hour to be seen. During this time there was a huge water leak in the waiting area from the ceiling which very unpleasant. Since she had only gotten a babysitter for two hours she had to cut the Massage short and was unable to do the full 90 minutes. The massage was mediocre at best. I called the owner Hans and tried to get a refund for the time that she did not get a massage and he has ignored all my text messages. I tried to reach Groupon and their customer service is non existent. Save yourself the heartache and don't use Groupon and don't come here. read more

Medlife Spa is a life-saver to me! I used to go to a place downtown to get colonics and lymphatic drainage but that place changed management and increased their prices. I thought I didn't have a choice but found Medlife through a google search and was shocked at the extensive service menu. Not only were colonics and lymphatic drainage services offered but also packages and offers in case you preferred to pay less for more. My kind of place!!! Shami is wonderful at draining my lymphatic system and she helps me take advantage of Magnatherm Therapy sessions as well (This is a rare treat and not available at even high end Spas). Magnatherm is high frequency energy which penetrates and heats deep muscle tissue for rejuvenation. It also increases your immune system effectiveness dramatically. You can also choose from semaglutide, lipo shots, reflexology, facials, massage etc. My suggestion is to study the online choices at Medlifemassage.com. Be aware that this isn't a 5-star modern space or building but the service and prices far outweigh some of the highly rated spas in Miami/Miami Beach. I prefer honest pricing and great service! Shami will take good care of you. I can't say enough good things about this Spa...the colonic room has panoramic views of north Miami and is a perfect relaxing space. This place has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I booked this through Groupon and scheduled an appointment for 2PM over the phone. When I arrived to my appointment I noticed the building said free parking and called the office to locate the free parking lot. The person I spoke with took my name and informed me that my appointment was at 1PM and I told them that I scheduled it over the phone for 2PM. Immediately the woman started arguing with me saying this was incorrect and I received a text message with the appointment time. I told her that I never received the message and if she could just direct me to the free parking I could come upstairs and sort things out. She yelled at me told me there was no parking and hung up the phone. When I found parking and went upstairs three people sat at the front desk and as I explained the situation from my perspective they kept laughing and saying it was impossible I was scheduled at 2PM. The lady I spoke to on the phone was the most rude out of the three. She said she could give me a massage for half the time because I "missed" my appointment. I initially agreed but after found out she was the therapist decided not to for safety reasons. As she was very aggressive I was afraid she would cause injury to me. After leaving, the man that was at the front desk followed me down the elevator because he saw I was visibly upset. He told me to come back to see a different therapist and that they had apologized to me so there's nothing more they could do. I never received any apology from those people and after his statement I decided not to be seen here by anyone. These people lack professionalism and customer service. I wouldn't run the risk of getting injured here. Probably not even real massage therapist. read more
