The store has a parking lot in the back but pretty small. I didn't see parking there but easy street parking. Scheduling and checking in was easy. They have a nice waiting area inside with hot and cold water but they were so efficient I didn't get to use the waiting area lol. All good. I got a 60min massage with Lis. With yelp checkin you get a free enhancement so I chose to try the enhanced muscle therapy which they explained was icy hot at the end of the session. The massage was a whole body massage with extra attention to where you specify you have issues...very relaxing. They have an intro rate of $85 for the hour and membership fee of $85 per month to get reduced rates. All the staff I encountered were so welcoming and friendly. Great relaxing spot. read more

Vincent took the time to help explain why certain areas were tense, what some of the possible causes were, AAAAND the solutions to help fix it. He was immediately able to identify that I was a side sleeper and that I mainly slept on my left side just by recognizing tense parts of my chest, neck, and shoulder. He even took the time to help explain some pain relieving stretches I could perform to ease my sciatic pain. I could tell that he was extremely knowledgeable and that he cared about his work and clients. Definitely recommend him as a therapist. I always feel extremely welcome when I step into Massage Envy Monrovia, and I am always greeted really warmly and courteously by everyone, from the front desk staff to my massage therapist, Connie!! I've never been in a position where I felt I needed to write a bad review. I usually try my very best to be understanding and if I had a bad experience, to leave it and just never go back. This for me was inexcusable and again I'm not here to get the therapist in trouble but in my opinion, if someone provides horrible service, it's a reflection on the company. I went for a hour full body massage and at first I was like hmmm the technique was questionable. I waited to see if it changed but I honestly didn't want to make him feel bad. What really got me confused was - I asked for a full body massage but he only massages my upper back (forgot I had a lower back) and massaged my calves and also forgot I had thighs. Honestly The worst massage I've ever had. I wanted it to be over. He had me turn around and the only thing he massaged, were my arms..... I left confused, paid and tipped to then come home and say WTF did I just pay for? I could have gone a few blocks down and gotten a $30 massage from a strong Asian lady with amazing technique! Honestly, will never come back to this location. It was a 50 minute massage not an hour for $70.... rip off. I'm more upset at myself for paying and not saying anything while there. read more

Super friendly staff :)!! I always get my massages from Yoyo, I don't like deep pressure, so she does a great light to medium massage. Even though she does do deep tissue she always senses when my body doesn't like the amount of pressure and goes lighter. She craters to all my needs and let's me relax by letting me listen to my favorite podcasts. She can do any pressure and actually sticks to it! When I need a facial I always go to Sarah, she has been helping me with my skin journey and she always allows me to vent to her. She's comforting and understanding of what my skin needs the most. Lately, I've noticed less redness, more of a hydrated/glowy look, and my breakouts have been reduced!! She always does fun extractions as well which have helped me get rid of my blackheads. I was a member of this place for over a year. The massages can be good but about 40% of the time I would walk away knowing that I got a subpar massage. When you're a member, the massages cost $85 and I think they are $145 if you are not. That's a lot of money to pay for a crappy massage. When you want to cancel your membership, they don't do it automatically, they give themselves a ten day window to do it so they can squeeze in one more credit card charge. Pretty trashy imo. We all know they could cancel it sooner if they wanted to. Facility is clean and I will say front of house staff is excellent - always really friendly and personable. read more
