The Worst Location!!!!!! Stay away!!!!!!! Adida is the rudest representative ever she actually hung the phone in my face twice !!!! Worst costumer service ever! Membership expired at February, still had one more massage credit to use and was told can be used 60 days after expiration. Called in the 60 days period to set up a massage and was told the credit expired because they count it since last payment and not from when membership expired!! This is the THIRD time we have problems with this location and rude representatives that lies to customers and says they are the managers!!! And hung to costumers in their face!! TWICE!!!! I hope this time a real manager will call me back so disappointed and upset with them. You pay the money and won't get the service stay away from being a member with them!!!!! read more

Love this ME location! Always very clean, well stocked tea bar and very sweet staff members. Quiet room is a little small (only reason for 4 stars) but everything else is perfect. Kathy is phenomenal- she did an incredible job with the Rapid Tension relief and I highly recommend it. It felt like the stress melted off my body. She was also very good at incorporating stretches into the massage which helps when you are active and have muscle soreness. Definitely 5 stars for Kathy! read more

Made my appointment 6 days ago and they called to cancel an hour before my appointment because there was an 'error' in their system and all massage therapists were booked, only has a facial available...? I understand things happen but an hour before the appointment after nearly a week? If I did that I would have been charged. 5 Stars for my Massage Therapist, Shannon; 3 Stars for the front office staff. Shannon gives a wonderful and thourough deep tissue massage - She is capable of other types of massage, but I prefer the deep, tension releasing one. I actually started out with a different massage therapist, however was switched to Shannon and have stuck with her ever since. She is very knowledgable and gives great tips for at-home care. She always provides a relaxed environment and asks me where my sore spots are before we begin so she may address them during our session. Going once a month for a massage as saved my back - I thought I was headed towards chiropractic adjustments and possible surgery one day, but now I am pain free most of the time. The front office staff is usually pleasant, however I have had problems with appointments and even had to speak to the manager at one point to get a charge removed when I changed an appointment and it was never changed in the book therefore I was charged a no show fee.The manager was pleasant and had the issue resolved immediately. Overall I am very happy with Massage Envy and have purchased a membership. read more

I really, really love Massage Envy! I have a membership and cannot really remember the high pressure sales pitches that others have mentioned in the ratings. I zone all that out and just sign up for what I want at the end of the day. I ignore the pressure. Massage Envy doesn't have all the fluff and drama that I high end spa has, but if you're wanting a really good massage, you don't need a puffy bathrobe and slippers. You need a quiet room, soft music, and a qualified therapist. Check, check, and check. I really love the hours - especially my hour and a half massages at 8:30pm. Out of there by 10pm and home into a relaxing tub bath before bedtime. It's perfect! As far as scheduling, in the last several years I've been going there, they've messed up my appointments one time. I scheduled a hot stone massage, but only had it listed as a regular. I was suprised since my therapist literally walked me to the front counter and told them what to schedule.... I haven't addressed it with the manager yet, I'm not going to make a huge deal out of it. As far as therapists, I have seen several of them and like anything else, you have to find the right one for your particular likes/dislikes, but now I found my favorite and I'm really happy... I split my monthly hourly massages out to an hour and a half every 6 weeks. It's a perfect arrangement! read more

I wish I could give a zero star review this was absolutely the worst experience! I was taking my mom on a nice day out starting with a facial for Mother's Day. from the moment we walked in, the front desk crew were so incredibly rude and blamed their behavior on company policy! Apparently, we had the nerve to arrive early! we were told we had to wait outside (Arizona, in the middle of the day, need I say more) they were quite irritated when we asked to sit in the large vacant lobby. When they said no and glared at us, not smiling once, we left to go sit in our car with the ac running. we then received a text letting us know wewere to go inside now ... our temperature was taken our covid forms filled out our masks were ON And we both hve been vaccinated or had the virus and have the antibodies. We were of no risk to anyone or ourselves....again, no smile or friendly greeting, instead she glared and ordered us to put our mask over our nose (even though our masks would be off in three-5 feet As our faces would be worked on. ) it wasnt the fact that she wanted us to put the mask over our nose we have been asked that before and complied . It was the way she ordered us to do it. I didnt see the point in staying, there was no way that I would be relaxing. if the order was done in a friendly manner we would have obliged but from when we walked in the door, It was a nightmare! This is my first ever Yelp review because the experience was THAT BAD. Ive never been to a ME before but I've been having severe neck/shoulder pain so i scheduled a 90 minute massage for 10 am. At 10:08 the receptionist informed me that my massage therapist, Ciera, was not at work yet and they couldn't get ahold of her???? They continued to call her multiple times and still couldn't reach her. The receptionist (who I must mention was very nice and tried to be accommodating) began calling around to other locations to try to fit me in. Finally at 10:25 they found a different location 30 minutes from home that could see me at 11:30 (which should have been the time my original appointment was ENDING). The receptionist did put a 30-minute credit on my account which is a kind gesture but doesn't make up for the terrible lack of professionalism by their massage therapist. If I no-call no-showed my appointment they would have charged me the full price -- why are there double standards for their employees? I had my day planned out based on this appointment but had to completely throw a wrench in it because Ciera decided to not show up to work. I will absolutely NEVER go to this location again, and recommend no one else does either. read more

After requesting a specific appointment time, we were never called back for confirmation and when we showed up they were not apologetic nor did they try to accommodate us. I had a 90 minute massage booked for today, and massage envy canceled on me an hour and a half before my appointment. When I spoke to the manager she was only interested in giving me a 30 minute upgrade. If I had canceled on massage envy within their 24 hr cancellation policy, they would have charged me for the full 90 minute massage. I don't understand why there is a double standard. If this is the way massage envy is going to treat their members, I am certainly going to take my business elsewhere. I give the 2 stars because my therapist is the one that deserves the stars. I was very disappointed in the way my appointment was handled. I requested the apt online first and in that request I mentioned I had just ran a half marathon. They called to make the apt, but had to leave me a message. I called them back explained I had ran a marathon again and scheduled the apt. Turns out, when I checked in, they told me why didn't I schedule a hour and half apointment instead of just the hour. I didn't know why they asked this, but it turns out, the extra half is comped for those that ran the pf chang marathon. They missed telling me this information 2 x's prior. They asked if I wanted to re-schedule my appointment so I could take advantage of that promo......NO I am sore today!!!! read more

This is more of a general review for all Massage Envies. I've been a customer in three different states for a couple years now, and if you've been to one, you've been to them all, really. Massage Envy is a study in why franchises work (when they do work (and massage envy works)). McDonald's became popular because it took the chaos of the burger joint and made it totally orderly and predictable and reliable and clean (ish). Every McDonald's is exactly the same. Massage Envy is a franchise after the McDonald's model, but there is one big difference: you don't need a license to be a fry cook. Thank god, you do to be a masseuse. Every Massage Envy I've ever been to has had more or less the same design, same color palette, same good, courteous service and same expectations. The only appreciable difference between them is the people who work there, and therein lies the possibility of trouble. Not all LMTs are created equal. Some of these people may just be waiting to build their bona fides to go work at a huge fancy spa. And some of them never will. This means that the quality of your massage at Massage Envy is directly connected to who you work with. And it can take some time to figure out whose style is best for you, naturally. In my opinion though, setting aside evaluating individual therapists, the Massage Envy experience overall is a good one. They make you feel reasonably special and their membership is a good deal, especially if you live in a place where massages can be ridiculously expensive (Arizona, DC). They often have cheap spa add-ons that you can purchase, like using special oils or face masks and so on. What Massage Envy has done is the same thing McDonald's did - taken something a little dicey and maybe even scary for some folks and made it into a consistent, uniform experience. While massage enthusiasts will no doubt decry Massage Envy like hamburger enthusiasts do for Mickey D's (and I don't blame them) Massage Envy is a great place for someone who has never had a massage before and wants to try it, or isn't interested in dishing out the dough for a luxury experience at a huge spa. I had a coupon for a free aromatherapy treatment which I added onto my 90 minute massage. What I didn't realize is that the aromatherapy treatment (which, without a coupon, would have cost me $10) consisted of nothing more that the masseuse waving her hands around to spread the scent....she sat doing this for a good 10 minutes. The massage still ended in the 90 minute timeframe, so I think the upgrade essentially cost me 10 minutes of massage so that I could lay there and smell lavender--not a trade I would knowingly make. I'm pretty sure my masseuse had a cold too since she was sniffling throughout the massage. My last criticism is that the walls seemed to be unusually thin, so I could hear conversations & laughter coming from other rooms, making it hard to really relax. The actual massage was good, nothing special though. I was aware that Massage Envy locations push the membership pretty hard so I expected that, but it was definitely a bit annoying since I had just spent 90 minutes trying to relax & clear my head. read more

So this was the first time I got a massage. I was scheduled with Shannon for a deep tissue massage. I was super nervous at first because I didn't know what to expect. I am so glad I had Shannon... She made me feel so comfortable!! When massaging me, she could guess what certain medical problems I had without me having to say anything. She was so knowledgable and professional. I have been a member of Massage Envy for years and have never written a review but I was compelled to after seeing Ronnie at the PV location. I came in with a fairly severe pain in my scapular area, you could feel the large knot to the touch. I usually request a female therapist but because I called at the last minute (since I was in so much pain), I took whoever was free at the time and that happened to be Ronnie. I was VERY lucky for this twist in fate. Ronnie gave me the most amazing hot stone massage. The pressure was perfect all the way through and his communication was on point. He was extremely professional, care taking, funny and seemed to be truly passionate about what he does... everything you would want in a therapist. I've been seeing Kristi for about 6 months now and she's amazing! I do crossfit and am a full time student, so I am constantly tight, sore, and full of stress knots. I feel like a new person after a massage with Kristi. She is also very knowledgeable about all muscle groups and the way the body works. I had a pretty painful muscle pull in my upper back, neck and shoulder. Went in for my introductory massage and got Jenny. This woman has fingers of steel! She used some techniques I had never experienced before, and she gave a great deep tissue massage. She focused on my knot/pulled area and still gave a great all over body massage as well.
