I love this place and have seen a few of the therapists, including Dr. Jason. Every single therapist I've had the pleasure of working with has been professional, kind, and spot on with treatment. The receptionist is truly kind and you really do feel cared for when you walk in. She knows your name, who you're there to see, and will set up your next appointment if you get there early enough. I've worked with several of the therapists and although there is one who I don't vibe with (there's nothing wrong with her, our styles just don't match) you literally cannot go wrong here. Every therapist I've seen asks what my problem areas are and concentrated on them, and every time I walk out of the place I feel like a new woman. Dr. Jason is also really, really great. He's very good at making you feel comfortable (because let's be honest, the dude is jerking you about and jostling your bones back into place, so it's probably best you trust him) and does his job well. He is absolutely wonderful and has set my body straight after working from home for the last several months and not being able to go to the gym! Dr. Bruce Bedrick and his team are doing a great job with Village Health. I've been on several occasions and I've been impressed and more importantly, felt great after each visit! I initially went to Dr Bruce after several friends recommended him when I was having some excruciating pain in my foot and ankle. Since then, I've gone to see him for soft tissue work on my quad and IT band, pain in my neck/shoulder area, as well as just gone for deep tissue massage. (Jen is the only massage therapist I've been to, but she is amazing!) The team is really friendly and great about confirming appointments and getting you in when you need it. They will also work with your insurance if you'd like them to. Go see Dr. Bruce if you are considering a chiropractor... I haven't seen him for Chronic Allergy Elimination but I know he handles that too. It's a holistic approach to healing at Village Health... I wish I had the time to go more than I do, but I feel like every little bit counts. I came here after winning a gift certificate from a Yelp event not to long ago at the Breakfast Joynt. Things have been busy, and I finally got around to making an appointment. When I did call, the girl at the desk was warm and friendly. She gave me a few options on a few different days, and I settled in on Friday July 3rd for my appt. The place itself is attached to Golds Gym. It has its own enterance, but also has an enterance from the gym. FYI-If you have to go to the bathroom, you actually need to use the gyms restrooms and cut through the lockerroom to do so. After filling out paperwork, I got a tour of the place. Its warmly decorated and relaxing. Blues and browns, which was pleasing to my eyes. I got a tour of the place to! The girl at the reception desk was nice and very helpful. She showed me around and offered me some water. Eventually, Liz came out and told me she would be giving me a massage. She was really nice! She made me feel comfy right away. She did a brief consult, asking me where my problem areas were, and asked what kind of massage I wanted. Being that I am not fluid in massage speak, I told her that I didnt want to be broken in half and to just work out the knots. The massage itself was really relaxing. I tend to get a pinched nerve in my back and she worked on that for a while which helped a lot. Plus, working a desk job makes my back sore anyways. Came to find out Liz is a personal trainer as well! Yippie! Anyways, my massage was up and I left. I would return in a heartbeat. They told m that they have a thing for new members where massages are $40 for 40 days after your first massage. But, whats the price after that? I was referred here by a co-worker that raved how Proformance uses my company's insurance. I go to the Gold's Gym next door but never knew what this place was about. I went in, scheduled an appt, was shown the facility and was explained how the process works with my insurance. My appt was a few days ago and I had an hour massage with Heather. She was extremely friendly and asked if I had any problems areas I'd like her to work on. My massage was great...I am still itching to go back for my next massage. I made sure to tip Heather but other than that, there was no out of money costs. I love the people at Proformance Health. Dr. Jason, the chiropractor, is super friendly and makes you feel at ease when he's doing your alignment which I've had trouble with past chiropractors so I really appreciate him! I get my massages with Teren and I think she's the best. I get tons of knots in my neck and shoulders so she spends an hour working on that area and afterwards I felt like a new person. I always feel super relaxed during my sessions with also the benefit of getting my knots out. I had an appointment for a massage October 28th with Coco. It seemed like they were not organized when I walked in. She comes out and gets me, did not even introduce herself. Takes me in the room asked me if I had any concerns today? I said I want a relaxing massage I have a lot of stress going on. SHe walks out I get on the bed I noticed there's no music playing there's this big fan blowing on me. She had very cold hands and I about jumped off the bed. She immediately started digging her elbow into my upper clavicle area of my back and she would just take her elbow slowly down my back. I asked her again I need a relaxing massage. Then she put some western music on with words I asked if she could please play spa music and she asked me what kind of spa music do you want ? I said spa music. She change the music to spa music, came back and started digging her elbow in the same spot that I asked her not to do. It was no more than 10 minutes and I just stopped the service. It was the worst experience I ever had. Nobody ever apologized to me in the office . I called the chiropractor to speak to him he is the owner. He never even called me back. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I have never stopped a service before , but it was that bad. Maybe Coco the massage therapist was having a very bad day. But she should realize take care of your clients, and listen to their needs. read more

Dr Jason is an excellent practitioner. He takes time to talk to his patients and will work with you if you are uneasy about chiropractic care. Massage therapists are also awesome. Rude staff. I've been a patient here for years and was really satisfied until an interaction with the receptionist on this last Saturday. I contacted to reschedule an appointment due a personal emergency for an appointment that was about 4 hours later in the afternoon. Without letting me speak anymore she stated that I needed to pay a $25 cancel fee to the therapist. After stating that I was a patient there for a number of years and that the fee was never disclosed, she went so far as to attempt to collect my credit card number to try and charge it. I told her that I've been going here for years and since she was insistent, the business was going to lose about $1000 in yearly massage revenue, and that I wouldn't be coming any more. She stated "Wow." The phone line went dead. I called the business the next day and asked for a business manager to follow up with me. It hasn't happened. I hate bad break ups. read more

I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with Proformance Health. The office was beautifully off an outdoor atrium where there was running waterfalls and benched to sit quietly and reflect or just to relax if you wanted. The receptionist was awesome. She had me fill out my paperwork and took my insurance information. My scheduled massage was right on time. It was amazing I have to say. Ask for Koco. I had severe pain,kinks and stiffness around my head and neck and wanted to get help. The masseuse seemed like she was in a rush, did more of my back that what my trouble area was. During the massage the Pandora ads kept coming which was really annoying. Not only that I signed up for a 1 hr massage and I hardly got 40 mins. I later called in and told the receptionist the issue and see if she can fix this. She asked me to get another massage paying the full price. I asked her to talk to her manager and get back to me which has not been done yet.A very disappointing experience. read more

I also like Jillian at the front desk because she is very nice and she is also willing to show me the next time I come in what is available. I've been going to this place for several years because they manage to consistently attract some of the best massage therapists I've ever come across at any price. And their pricing is pretty competitive for the area. Unfortunately, these days the crummy environment takes a lot away from even the best massage. The office staff was curt and unpleasant when I was around them, but during most of the time I had paid for to relax, they were constantly conversing loudly, maybe 8 feet from the door to the therapy room. If you're purely there for health reasons, this might not bother you. I'm in it 50/50 for health and relaxation and this is no longer the place to get it. Every time I'd start to relax, something that the staff felt warranted outdoor voices and cackling was going on just outside. The moment I was finished, they again clammed right up. Even some pretty low rent places I've been to make it a point to offer water after a massage; as I had prepaid, the staff here couldn't even be bothered to look up from their computer as I walked out. Again, the pricing is pretty good for the area, and as such I'm not expecting a concierge or a zen garden, but I haven't been to many gas stations where the staff seemed this disinterested in the client experience. Maybe I'll find something better that's closer to home. read more

The doctor is so rude, he made me feel so uncomfortable. I also have never met anyone who treats people so rudely in my life. I called later on in the day and the doctor picked up and he pretty much yelled at my on the phone and hung up. The other staff is not any better the receptionist has an attitude. Ok whoa!!! I just had the most life changing massage. I'm blown away. As someone who's lived a pretty fit life, as well as worked at one of the top three health and wellness facilities in the world(Canyon Ranch), and have had many therapeutic massages.... WOW!! Did I mention life changing!?! RICHIE has changed my life. I've had issues with my joints, specifically most with my hips. Which is hard to stay fit do to the lack of stabilizing my core. Has really put a toll on my body. Waking up in horrible pain every single day for years. My personal Pilates instructor recommended him to me. He's been at this facility for about 10 years so i assume he will not be leaving anytime soon. He used to work for the Miami Dolphins and wow.... I can imagine him fixing a lot of impact the body shouldn't endure. I'm almost in tears for the way I feel leaving today. Such relief to know I can finally get my body back to where it used to be. I have spent hundreds of dollars for massages at the resorts and they don't even compare to a massage at Proformance. I highly recommend Maria if you want something amazing and different. I used to go to Proformance when Bruce owned it- he was great- very friendly and customer-centric (actually knew his customers). The place is under new ownership as of approx 1.5 years ago- not the same attitude toward customers- very revenue driven- not friendly or loyal to long term customers. I used to be a weekly customer- they raised my rates +25% without personally telling me. Very poorly handled. The new owner is all about money. Some of the therapists are amazing- Richie is one of the best in the business ever- but serious flaws that stop anyone from having a relaxing experience: as others have noted, it's attached to Gold's Gym. When they built out the massage therapy rooms, they used NO sound proofing, so you hear EVERY conversation in the lobby, room next door, music blaring from the gym (all the time- it's really bad), cabinet doors slamming, etc. Also, the staff and owner seem to not notice or care, so they hold conversations and you can hear every word from inside the therapy rooms. Also, each massage therapist uses their own sheets, so get ready for some funky old sheets (like cartoon sheets, etc), no central music system so you're subject to their individual musical taste, and not a ton of customer service (if you're used to customer service levels like at Massage Envy, you'll be disappointed). Definitely not a spa like experience. For the price and lack of relaxation, go to Massage Envy or anywhere else. read more

i went there after seeing a sign at golds gym said deep tissue massage for 40.00, i wouldn't go back if they paid me 140.00. when i left there i bent over to pick something up and my back went out and it has been 4 weeks now and it is still not right, Went to a chiropracter since and have a back support in my car cuase of the massage, it was way to rough with her forearm going up and down my spine, i won't reccommend this for anyone. read more
