My mother is an existing patient and has never had an issue with insurance coverage as she has both Medicare and TriCare as a military spouse. When McGuinnes's system was showing incorrect information of my mother's military benefits coverage, Nadine and Serena were unwilling to look into the issue. I even called TriCare immediately myself and they confirmed that my mother is active and the benefits had not changed. When I went back into the office to explain that, Nadine was unwilling to look into it and just said "well this is what I show in the system." I even offered to get TriCare back on the phone to speak to her but she didn't want to help at all, so we were unable to be seen. Not to mention, they wanted to charge a 20% coinsurance on Medicare which was not ok since my mother has secondary coverage through TriCare. Illegal. I then called McGuinnes billing department immediately and Cara was able to verify in less than a minute that my mother was active. I also spoke to Rachel, the front desk manager who was very kind and understanding, and she apologized which I appreciated. But I will be filing a formal complaint. My mother is a military veteran spouse and how she was treated was unacceptable. Nadine, you owe my mother an apology for embarrassing her and not willing to help so she can be seen for her appointment. My entire family goes to this practice, but we will be reconsidering after this ordeal.

I searched the fragrance section for about 19mins testing various fragrances and watched three different sales reps help other customers right in front of me. One rep even went as far as to reach over me in helping their customer without as much as an excuse me. I don't know if the contributing factors to me being overlooked was due to me being a man in a store for women, my attire (sweats & tennis shoes) or my ethnicity, but whatever the case, it was a truly disheartening experience. So after almost 20mins of testing different fragrances, I made my way to the cash register where a lovely African American young lady asked if I was ready to check out. I replied no, I couldn't get anyone to assist me. She apologized and asked if she could help. I said absolutely and thanked her for acknowledging me. I told her the item I wanted to purchase. She went to the back and grabbed the fragrance I requested and apologized again for my poor experience, rang up the item, I paid, thanked her and went on my way. I have been to this store once before with my wife and I recall her being helped immediately so I figured I'd get that same level of service but I was hugely mistaken. I'm not upset by the experience I'm saddened. Just deeply saddened.
