I called to inform the location and was met with a very rude and unprofessional rep. I was basically told they don't care and I would still be charged. Then she tried to say I yelled at her and hung up on me and then refused to answer the phone when I called back. I had the most unprofessional experience with transferring my paid-for membership credits from my "home" Massage Envy to this location. After receiving two vague, divergent answers about the policy and process, I placed both locations on a conference call to sort out details of the transfer and upcoming appointment. Thinking that AMELIA and my home location sorted out this relatively simple task, I arrived on time and received a great massage. Only to discover that I was charged for the massage in the end. When I called this location to inquire about the charge, AMELIA (same person) answers. She was not helpful AT ALL. She only repeated herself and would NOT provide her manager's name when asked. I can't say, with 100 percent certainty, that one shouldn't use this location but I can say that I'm appalled at the lack of information or misinformation or disinformation from Amelia. read more

I had a 90 min massage here this week and was not impressed. First I noticed that the sheets on bed were all frayed. My massage therapist, Sheila, was friendly and I definitely felt like she worked out my muscles but her technique was so sporadic and jerky. It was hard to relax because her technique was so aggressive at times. When she moved to a different part of the body she would jerk me up and yank the sheet. She wasn't even consistent in what she did on each side. The lotion she was using must have had a thin consistency because it kept dripping on me when ever she got more. The sheets felt wet where the product dripped. I also got a sugar foot scrub which she only rubbed on the bottom of my foot less than 30 seconds, then took it off. I think Sheila has the potential to give a much better massage experience than this but I don't plan on going back to this location. read more

I came here in Dec 2022 for a massage. It was my first time at ME. I recently lost 2 important people in my life back to back and it added on to my usual tension. I didn't tell my masseuse that info but it was still one of the best massages I've ever had. Sheila worked on me, she was super friendly and attentive. She listened to what my problem areas were and even pointed out areas I didn't realize had knots and it helped me to figure out what I was doing repeatedly that caused it. It's just a good massage space, nothing that will blow you away however the service is great, the masseuses are professionals and the atmosphere is calming and peaceful. The lavatories are always fresh and clean. Went and had a great pre-natal massage, and truly enjoyed my it as well as my masseuse. Soooo I got a gift card for my birthday and I was very excited I haven't gotten a massage in years!! I booked my appointment online for 12pm (kind of annoyed how they don't show the prices on the website) so I can to call and confirm. I was running late so I called a head I was a total of 6 minutes late. They were kinda of awkward at the front desk... I told them it was my first time and they were not really friendly at all. After filling out the paper work I (that was basically the same information I filled out online so I'm not sure what the point of that is) I went back the masseuse was very nice and again was asking me question about what I have now talked about 3 times lol She did a great job and told me ahead she was going to have to cut my hour massage a bit short because I was late and I totally understood After she was done I looked at the time and it was 1245?? She only did about 35 minutes when I was paying for a hour??? Any way I never been there so I didn't ask questions. When I went to go pay I told the girl I was using a gift card on my email and she acted like she never seen a gift card and didn't even know they had any... Had a great massage this past week at Massage Envy of Wesley Chapel! It was great and if it's your first time in you can get the new user rate of $50 for an hour! What a great deal! I decided the day before that I wanted to get a massage! I called them and they had a few appointments open for the next day. I went in and had a really nice guy give me a massage. They do give you this iPad that asks a bunch of questions when you show up so they know what you want them to work on. I must have got confused and put the wrong stuff down. The guy said he was nervous to touch me because my sheet said it. I said I was sorry and the form was really confusing. If you go know to read that form carefully! The massage lasted 50 minutes with 5 before and after to undress and to talk about what we want. I do wish the massage was more relaxing but they massage therapists wanted to talk the whole time. It was okay I am a talker to! Overall I had a great experience at massage envy! Looking forward to going back! read more

My husband surprised me with a couples massage for valentine's day. He never surprises me, and he doesn't like massages, so this was very exciting. Everyone is very nice here, and the rooms are very basic, but comfortable and warm. I would recommend it having nice candles and maybe nice soothing music. I know you have to pay extra for aromatherapy. We paid a little bit extra for a foot scrub and I thought that was my most favorite. I think I need to find my perfect massage person, then I will definitely say that it is awesome, but that has nothing to do with the establishment itself. read more

My husband and I joined to take time every month for a couples massage. We have been members for over a year now and have had nothing but problems every time we call for an appointment. Only one couples room is what they have. It became such a problem that we were accumulating credits because we were having such difficulties in getting an appointment. I finally began going on my own just to get a much needed massage. Today was the final straw. We scheduled an appointment over a week ago and happy to finally get a couples massage. We showed up 5 minutes early checked in and when the masseuses came to get us they informed us that the couples room was unavailable it was being used for training. The manager came out and apologized for the poor communication. When I informed her that we wanted to just cancel the membership she offered we can come back tonight, Unacceptable. We drive over a half hour to get there.We declined and I explained that we have a lot of credits My husband has 6 and I have 3 1/2, that we were just going to cancel and I wanted the credits refunded. She declined the refund we insisted and she said she would refund 1 credit each . That we can contact her franchisee if we aren't happy with that. Upon leaving I signed a cancellation and she only provided me with an email to the franchisee could not provide a number. Completely a disappointment in customer service. The whole time we were there speaking to the manager and before the check in, the girl at the front desk was on the phone next to the manager taking care of personal business with her cellphone company. I made a deep tissue massage yesterday, I get there and go into the room get undressed only to find out it's a relaxation massage. The tech was rude when I asked her if this was for deep tissue. She said "I don't do deep tissue so get dressed". I got dressed n was mad at this point for waisting my time and for the tech giving me an attitude just for asking a question. They said I missed a signature on the form and therefor could not cancel my membership. They will not refund the money they continued to charge me even though I come in person to cancel and have no way of using the massages I was charged for. I have been a member here since the opened the Wesley Chapel location and had my daughter on a membership also. I have really enjoyed my therapists over the years. And I have had the pleasure of having consistent work with certain therapists, makes me feel good that I know they are taking care of their employees at the location. I was however very disappointed they raised my fees by $21 a month, per person this past year, and based on that I did cancel my daughters membership, since i can just get her a massage a few times a year, vs. paying that much monthly. I kept mine since I really enjoy Jose and Robert at this location.. It is very hard to book here last minute, which would be nice to have a few on call for long time members. And it is even harder to book a couples massage, so plan far ahead for your time! read more

Love this place. I have had many massages and many facials over the years here. I love the professionalism, cleanliness and friendliness that this particular location offers. I was a member here for many years and unfortunately have had to move and the locations where I live now don't even compare! The quality and knowledge of the therapists and estheticians at this location are by far the best. They have very many of each on staff to choose from which in turn offers a large spectrum of specializations to meet all of your needs. They are always very busy so I found that it was always in my best interest to rebook my appointment before leaving to ensure that I would be able to get in when I wanted. Otherwise, it is hard to get in at the last minute because the quality of their therapists are that good! Everyone was always very welcoming and friendly. I never had any problems. In general, the massage was very good. My disappointments were no hot towels were offered for my head neck or back or feet for that matter. Some of these places include this as part of the service. I asked to transfer the credits I had to a family member & they stated they were unable to do that due to the person who put in the notes is a past manager & after calling last night they stated I would be able to do that without an issue to an store nationwide. After calling back today to complete the transfer I was told by Lauren & General Manager Rachel, that it can only be for that location & stated the girl I spoke to last night was NEW and is excused from telling me misinformation. It is cheaper if you go with the membership (again, not thrilled with the membership concept, but I will use it and it is cheaper) -- a customized massage every month, or a Murad Healthy Skin facial for $10 more, unused massages rollover to the next month, if you want to add a service they offer additional massages and facials at low membership rates, you can also earn free massages and upgrades as well as get retail discounts on Murad products. What I like best about Massage Envy is you can make your appointments online without the hassle calling to make appointments. I went with my mom for the first time and it was pretty good. I had Sheila and she was amazing! I definitely recommend her. She knows what she's doing and she listens. However, the spa itself is very basic. If your used to getting a robe, being walked to a woman's locker room, going to the steam room after a massage and relaxing before heading out, this isn't the place for you. I've been to many of those before, so I was a little disappointed, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for, so that was that. I believe we paid about $50 each. So I have been to dermatologists, estheticians and facial specialists to try to figure out a way for me to love my skin again after acne scars, life's wear & tears and being that I've used Murad products in the past and liked the brand I searched for a salon that uses them and found massage envy. I was booked with Nicole for my second facial and omg!!!!! I was literally in tears at how amazing my face looked after she was done. She recommended a couple of products and I purchased them. Again I am speechless at the way they are making my skin look. I've never been one to believe in products significantly changing ones life but I swear Nicole has changed my view on that. I'm so happy at the level of satisfaction I feel about this whole experience with massage envy. I usually get really turned off by contracts and signing up for yearly agreements to anything!
