Ok so this place is a life saver. Dealing with neck pain for over a week, researched Yelp for a local massage place in Wesley Chapel. Reached out to them through Yelp and they responded immediately with availability as soon as same day. I decided to give them a call and got an appt for a few hours later. Wonderful news! Renata was my masseuse and asked me what was hurting etc. I got a 30 min massage and she mostly focused on my neck as well as back. She used some other techniques and objects and I can honestly say I left there feeling 100% better. So glad they were able to take me same day so the pain did not get worse. I was gifted a massage at Ideal Massage during teacher appreciation week. In the past, scheduling a massage has been a bit of a hassle, so I put my gift card on the back burner for a few months. When Thanksgiving break rolled around and I had some time off, I decided to bite the bullet and schedule one. Wow, Ideal Massage makes it so easy to schedule an appointment. You can do it all online. Ideal Massage lists all of their masseuses, their credentials and a blurb about their massage philosophy. From that, I was able to select one that fit what I was looking for. I then scheduled the appointment for the day I wanted. Easy peasy. Ideal Massage is located in an office building complex in the Seven Oaks portion of Wesley Chapel. It was totally not what I pictured on the outside. Inside, the office building was totally transformed into a serene and tranquil environment. They did this by using scarves or fabric draped along the ceiling lights and pumping some aromatherapy into the air. This totally cut down on the light and transformed the air into that of a relaxing spa. My massage was great. It was totally customizable. Upon check in, the paperwork asked what I wanted focused on. It also asked if I wanted complimentary aromatherapy, a heated bed and heated towels. I said yes to it all of it. Ideal Massage was....uh, ideal. They made it easy to schedule and customized it to my needs. Next time I am in the mood for (or gifted) a massage, I won't hesitate to make it Ideal. read more

LUV LUV LUV this massage shoppe on HWY 56 close to I-75. It has extended weekday hours as well as weekend hours (even full days on Sundays) for those working standard M - F hours. My masseuse was Amanda, not Amber. (I'm so sorry for the previous mistake.) I was blessed to get an appointment w/ her today on short notice. She must have re-read my info from my last visit because she hit all the correct spots w/ her deep tissue massage. She also asked if I had any areas that were causing problems; she did a WONDERFUL job releasing the pressure on my neck muscles. With the 20% discount for teachers, the 60 minute message cost me $64 plus tip. (Yelp offers a 20% Check In special as well.) A sister Ideal Massage is located in Lutz-- 10 miles away, just off HWY 56. The only drawback I've found here is that there are not individual stereo systems in each room. Therefore, patrons cannot select their favorite music. The music today reminded me of depressing funeral music, which didn't add to the relaxing ambiance (although I did fall asleep.) I'd love to be able to relax to a harp instrumental, but no harp CD's are offered. read more

I have had two massages here and I have really enjoyed them because the atmosphere is quiet and clean and my masseuse relieved my pain strategically and without causing any discomfort. I usually get deep tissue which gets intense and isn't relaxing but I thought it was the only way I'd get relief. Made a same day appointment and had a very talented lady do a deep tissue massage. I had stress related muscle tension in my right shoulder that popped up yesterday and would not go away. Her name was Dale, and she gave me the best deep tissue (Therapeutic) massage that I think I have ever had. She fixed my back and shoulder, as well as all the other muscle knots that were there. I signed up for a 60 minute session, but extended to a 90 minute one. If you, like me, have muscle knots and tension that you need worked on, Dale is highly recommended. read more

I looked over their website, and was excited to see they offer scrub and massage combos. They also have other options such as a Bamboo massage, and stone massage to name a few. I picked out an hour and a half massage with full body scrub. When I arrived, I could tell that this place was calming. I met with Erica, and she did a great job. My massage and scrub were so wonderful and relaxing. The combination of the massage and scrub together made it perfect. I was able to finally get some sleep. Ideal Massage is located behind the Sam's Club off of 56 in the Seven Oaks Professional Buildings. Make sure to ask them about their specials. The proprietor of My Ideal Massage, Dawn, has come up with an astounding combination. Her prices are very fair and the services she provides are top notch. I've been to My Ideal Massage several times and have never had a bad or even mediocre experience. When you walk in the door you're greeted by a friendly front desk who usually will tell you that your therapist with be right with you. The massage rooms are clean and welcoming as are the tables. I have received some of the best massages I've ever had in my life from Katie (who unfortunately isn't there any more), Ashley and Laura. They've taken care of pinched nerves very effectively and put me into a state of nirvana/extreme relaxation. When you're finished the front desk is again very helpful and they provide you with a bottle of water on the way out. For their prices one might expect lower quality service. My god, I think this was my first real massage in my entire life!!! To this day we still travel to Ideal Massage Lutz or Wesley Chapel because this place offers the best massages at an affordable price. We've been to other places where the pricing is a little cheaper but we found the quality of massages to be inconsistent. Every single visit we have made to either Ideal Massage location has been an excellent experience. We've tried several different therapists and while they each offer their own style every single therapist has been top notch. I don't know if they offer training or just attract the best, but whatever they are doing sets them apart from other places. Their intake form made the little things that other places usually have trouble with so easy (e.g. areas to be massaged, amount of pressure, aromatherapy, etc.). Unlike other places, the therapist only worked on the areas that I asked for and really solved my tension issues. I LOVE that I received a FULL 60 MINUTE massage that did not include the time it took me to undress. Actually, I got called in a few minutes late, but the therapist made up the time. Other spas could really learn something here. In any case, I am DEFINITELY RETURNING. Today I had a massage with RENATA and I have to say that I finally have found the one therapist who has been able to target the injuries on my body and treat them accordingly to help me heal. She is kind, caring and soothing when she speaks but also with her massage techniques. Her cupping skills are incredible (never had that before), the hot stones are used together while massaging the sore areas and feel amazing. The pressure she uses to break up the knots are not painful at all but when finished, yield results. She has also worked in rehab centers so she knows how to help heal the body well. My search ended here with Renata and I hope she never leaves Ideal Massage because I will keep coming back to her to get treated. Went to this place with my wife and daughter after reading some reviews here on Yelp while we were visiting family during the holidays. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and relaxing. My wife and I are discriminating and particular with our massages and both of us can say our massages were excellent. I had Danielle and her deep tissue technique was quite deep and her knowledge reflected her years of experience. I find most deep tissue masseuses don't go deep enough for me but she was able to get deep and hit some particularly troublesome spots. My wife also felt similarly about her therapist. Today I saw Britain, one of their only male therapists, and he was both professional and very skilled (I used to be an LMT so I feel confident in my opinion). The therapists are very good and accommodate your wish for deep tissue versus traditional massage or other modalities. She got deep tissue massage with bamboo. I waited in the lobby for her. The lobby was clean and quiet, with some wordless meditation type soundtrack playing in the background. My Love was very pleased with the service. When I paid, I asked Dawn a few questions about having back problems and such. She was able to ease my worries enough for me to agree to my first massage. I always enjoy getting a massage from here, especially with all the deals they have occurring. I prefer deep tissue massages; however, I tried the bamboo massage once this week since I have a very bad trigger point in my right shoulder. It was amazing! With the heat from the bamboo and the pressure applied, I will have to continue to find bamboo massages. I came back today to continue to get the trigger point released. The other lady who treated me was amazing with deep pressure. I highly recommend this place. The therapist was good but the room was very cold and the "back scrub" involved no scrubbing whatsoever- she just put some cream on my back and washed it off. Called at the last minute on a Friday night and was able to book three massages (including one prenatal) at the same time for my sister, mom, and I for Sunday. Reception staff was welcoming and kind, very helpful. We ALL came out after our massages saying "that was the best massage of my life!"
