I hate giving this place one star because I've been coming here for over a year and have never had a bad massage or facial. However, please do NOT get a membership from this location!!! I went in (in person) on the day of my massage and filled out paperwork to cancel my membership after getting the run around that this could only be done in person. So, thinking everything was great (and canceled), I used up my last massage credits and went about life. After returning from vacation, I realized I had been charged at the end of June even though my membership should have been canceled. It took SEVERAL phone calls to actually get ahold of the manager. She was very apologetic and immediately sent me the SAME paperwork that I filled out in person via email. She also promised to reimburse me for my June charge. Okay, so I complete the online paperwork and email it back immediately. Again, I move on with my life...JUST noticed I was not only NOT reimbursed from June, but they were so kind to charge me again for July. Just called again and of course the manager wasn't available. Just beyond frustrated as I hate leaving reviews like this (I never do), but I just want to warn others. It's SUPER easy to sign up for a membership, but apparently impossible to cancel! read more

I had Mandy give me a facial. it was not relaxing at all. She was extremely abrupt and rough and seemed like she was in a rush. Even if she wasn't doing the facial she was loud banging around with the equipment. It was not the experience I was hoping for and I was really disappointed. read more

Good massage, but when you start 5 minutes after you're scheduled time and you end 7 minutes before your scheduled time it's hard to justify the insane cost. Need to find somewhere else that is actually an hour for an hours worth of pay, not 45 minutes for a very very expensive cost. It's ignorant and rude. read more

I must say I had the best experience at this location! The staff was very professional, fun, and so accommodating that it blew my mind. I had two other Massage Envy's that I was trying to schedule with and not the best experience over the phone I will say. Michael was amazing and gives a great deep tissue massage if you're in the market for that. Hannah at the front desk was so genuine and truly made my day by discounting my massage and taking care of me because I had such an unpleasant experience with the another location. I am writing this review in complete astonishment. One day after getting my haircut at a close by establishment, I walked past Massage Envy and thought, my 7 month pregnant wife sure could use a massage! So I went in and spoke with an employee inquiring if they do prenatal massages to which they happily responded yes! So I said that I would like to purchase a massage for my wife. The employee happily informed me that I could either purchase a gift card, schedule an appointment and pay the day of, or pay for the massage in advance so that all my PREGNANT wife had to do was come in, get the massage, and leave. I chose to pay for the massage in advance so that my wife could have a nice surprise. The employee then said with smile "that's great, would you like to leave a tip now or on the day of?" Again, to prevent my wife from having to deal with anything I chose to tip at the time of purchase as well. On 1/3/2020 I paid $95 for a one hour prenatal massage and also left a tip of $20 bringing my total to $115. The transaction was completed, I was given my receipt, and again assured that all my wife had to do was show up and get her massage. On Friday (1/10/2020) I received a phone call from Massage Envy to confirm my wife's appointment on 1/11/2020 for 1pm. I am a police officer who works the night shift so my wife drove herself to her 1pm appointment on 1/11/2020. When she returned she told me that they charged her for the massage AND had to tip again! She was told that since she was a first time customer the total was $65 for the hour and she tipped another $15 for a total of $80. When my wife informed me of this after her massage I went back to Massage Envy to get an answer as to why my wife was charged for the massage after I had already paid for it. The staff there on that day were kind and did not know how they had made such a mistake. I was told that they could not approve any refunds until their manager returned on 1/12/2020, but they said I should receive a full refund for the $115 I paid originally "plus something for the trouble." On 1/12/2020 I anxiously awaited a call from the manager. At 1236 pm my phone rang only twice before being hung up on. I immediately called back and spoke with the manager. This manager was absolutely terrible. She spoke to me in a very condescending manner and did not do for me what I was told would be done. She said multiple times that "I didn't ask for the gift card" and that's why one wasn't given to me and that they don't let you pay for massages in advance.... that's not what your other employees said and that is precisely what I did! On top of this manager speaking to me rudely and acting like this is somehow my fault, she also only refunded me the $80 that my wife paid the day of! YOUR employees made the mistake, not me, not my wife! We should have been refunded the entire $115 especially because she said that it's not their policy to pay for massages in advance. If that's the case, then why wouldn't the payment the day of be the amount formally charged aka $80, not the $115 that I paid for in advance!? Absolutely horrible customer service. Sadly, my wife really enjoyed the massage and we're new to the area, literally living within a mile of the store, and we would have been repeat customers for sure. Not now! My wife was supposed to have a nice relaxing surprise; instead this whole situation did nothing but cause stress, especially the embarrassment she felt when they told her that she had to pay when she was going to leave as if she was unable to afford the massage that was already paid for! read more

As a new mom, I was humiliated at this location and do not recommend. I brought my baby boy with me only because he was sleeping soundly and I could not find a babysitter. I was in fairly intense pain because of tight back muscles and my chiropractor told me only a massage would fix it. Imagine my humiliation when the manager entered the nearly empty relaxation room (only one other person there) where I was silently waiting for my massage and threw me out! I pride myself on not being a sloppy or rude person and I've never been thrown out of any establishment ever. Until this. I explained my situation to no avail. If my child made a noise, I was out. As children are human, my son did make a noise shortly thereafter (not disturbing anyone) so I had to leave. I cried when I got to my car. Advice: avoid this place. I found a rational spa shortly thereafter and have been happy to not be treated like an animal just because I have a baby. Management: please post signs so you can be more straightforward about shaming women. I quote what you condescendingly sneered at me: "People come here to get *away* from their children. Best customer service you'll get! My husband and I scheduled a couples massage for 10am two weeks in advance. We arrived and they didn't have us down. This was very frustrating. But they got us in at 3pm no questions asked. They even got us the couples room and female therapists (which was our preference) They were so genuinely apologetic that we didn't even mind. They were so kind. We came back at 2:30 and they offered us free add ons for the trouble (which was really unnecessary since they were so kind and got us in) I got the aromatherapy and my husband got some kind of muscle relaxing add on with biofreeze totally free of charge. They were so attentive and my massage therapist, Ashley, was by far the best I've ever had at massage envy! She was SO respectful and concerned with my comfortability. My husband's therapist was amazing, as well. I booked with Ashley again on my way out. Everyone at that location deserves a raise for exceptional customer service as well as pure skill. 5 stars! read more

Wow! This location is far above the others I've been too. The spa attendants are very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a superb facial and massage at this location. The therapist even sent me home with some samples to try. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also very clean! read more

I have had nothing but headaches with the management of this location. The receptionists are always new. The manager tells me that she is new. They billed me for serviced not rendered and argued with me after my massage which was very counter productive. They finally sorted it out. I decided to cancel my membership and was informed that only the manager can do that, but she was never there, or at least never took my calls or returned them. After close to a week she finally emailed the paperwork to me which I completed and return within an hour. I just realized they continued to charge my card the past 4 months so I called and the manager argued that I never returned the cancellation. I forwarded the cancellation email and asked to speak with the owner to help sort this out as I have run out of patience with the incompetence and they refused to put the owner in touch with me. When I called seeking a same-day appointment due to some sciatic nerve pain, they were able to get me in with another therapist, Kendra (who was amazing!), since Terri was booked solid. As soon as I walk into Massage Envy Wexford, I only notice the positive. The front desk is attentive and friendly and the waiting room doesn't feel like one. The massage therapists have helped me with my reduced range of motion in my neck so much that it's no longer an issue. And the facials from Allie, Susan and Rene are the most relaxing experiences! I can't say enough about them, so instead, I suggest everyone experience one. Since joining Massage Envy Wexford, I have been my best self and I can honestly credit it to the people at this location. I've been to tons of massage envy locations and this is by far the best. The people at the front desk make sure you are comfortable and relaxed from the second you walk in. The most important part of getting a massage is to be relaxed and they do everything to make sure that happens. They are friendly and always starting up a conversation. The therapists are great there, but the owner/manager is rude and terrible to work with. I was told one price when booking my massage and a different price upon checking out after my massage. When I brought this up with the owner Becky, she was rude, refused to do anything to rectify the situation, and told me she was not concerned with loosing business. I went in with the intent to purchase a session for a coworker and was shocked to be greeted with snotty attitude. They kept trying to sell me more than what I was asking for and not answering my questions. Several times I tried asking again and over and over they kept trying to sell me extra sessions so that I could "get one free and use it on myself!" I felt horribly pressured and made to feel like an idiot for not buying in. I left and called ELEMENTS MASSAGE which is actually right across the street and am SO GLAD I DID!
