Massage Envy is the definition of a bureaucratic nightmare wrapped in subpar service. The majority of their massage therapists barely rise to the level of mediocre, but what's worse is the endless red tape I've faced trying to cancel my so-called "month-to-month" membership. For days, I've attempted to end my membership, only to be told the only person who can process cancellations is their elusive "cancellation specialist" -- who, of course, is conveniently on extended leave. As if that weren't enough, they've flat-out refused to provide me with a copy of my original contract, a document they're legally required to share. Their excuse? Allegedly, an "update" moved all contracts to corporate, yet corporate conveniently claims they have nothing to do with contracts. It's a blatant, predatory runaround. Massage Envy is banking on frustrated customers giving up, hoping to squeeze out another month's fee. This company has perfected the art of making simple tasks impossible. Can't say nicer things about this location. I've been a member of massage envy for 7 years and have had countless massages and I must say Matt is one of the best therapists i've had. If you want a massage tailored to your specific needs he is your guy. He listens to your concerns and really personalizes your massage. I came in with pretty extreme upper back discomfort and he worked on just my upper back, neck, and shoulders for the entirety of my massage. It was exactly what I needed. I called on April 4th to book massages (both of our first times) to surprise my mother with for Mother's Day and had no issues. I called on April 27th to confirm the massage times and to my surprise was told that one of the massages had to be cancelled because the employee who was supposed to do it had actually requested the time off (their mistake not mine, but they made it my problem). They offered me a facial at another time that day or reschedule to a completely different day, which would have defeated the point of Mother's Day massages). This was a horrible fault of management and an extremely frustrating experience 9 days before Mother's Day. This forced me to completely change and cancel a lot of other events on Mother's Day, again, 9 days before. A crock of shit and an embarrassment for the Massage Envy company. read more

today May 11, I paid for my mother to get a full body massage at Baltimore massage envy off of Clinton Keith exiting the 15 freeway. Her masseuse name was Jessica J she was noted to her she my mother is 64 years old. She's a busty woman, and she did not know how to position herself. She threw pills at her and told her to position herself, she was very uncomfortable. She came out more stress and had more anxiety and she said it was the worst massage she's ever had in years and this is not our first massage. Envy usually does a good job, but for some reason this particular location will more not Menifee. I made a mistake on the last review of Clinton. They are horrible there. It was too cold in there. First time coming here and I was wowed. First of all the receptionist was so sweet took her time for me and was considerate. My massage therapist was Chris. Now let me say I NEVER get massages by males just for safety reasons but I decided to give it a try and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Chris was highly respectful he taught me plenty of the human body when I had questions. I recently renewed my membership with Massage Envy Wildomar. I was looking forward to my "first" massage in July 2022. I received a call on the Friday before confirming my Saturday appointment, in which I called back and confirmed. Saturday morning I was preparing for my 11 am appointment only to receive a phone call 1.5 hrs before my appointment that my scheduled therapist called out. Okay, I understand. I waited for the young lady to offer a solution. She gave none. I finally asked is there another opening later in the day or someone who could come in? She placed me on hold for a few minutes only to say, I'm sorry but we don't have anyone who can assist you today. You will have to reschedule. I must say I was very disappointed. I even waited to see if I would hear back from them to reschedule over the next week or two. I heard nothing. Today. I received a call from ME Wildomar looking for my first payment on my new membership. I called them back, told them about my experience in July 2022. To no avail the employee seemed unamused. I then told her I would like to cancel my membership. She said okay and informed me someone will call you back. I asked for the persons name. She would not give me their name and just proceeded to tell me that she would contact me. Again, I was disappointed with the customer service and the lack of concern with retaining clients. Had I been treated with some level of understanding and concern with an attempt to rectify the problem, I would have not canceled my membership. But unfortunately I did not receive that. read more

I had a massage at ME Wildomar 6/4/21 with Dean. He was super professional, calm, relaxing and welcoming. My massage was medium pressure with focus to my trapezius hands and feet. He did exactly what I wanted and helped with a lot of stress and tension. I will be going to him from here on out. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. I only no complaints. I wish the tranquility room has use of the massage chair again. I showed up early to use it only to find it not available. I know the reason... Twice, I tried to make an appointment in Menifee, close to my house, but they never have any appointments available. So I called the Massage envy in Wildomar, and they had an appointment available! I was so happy, because I was in pain from the vertebras between my shoulder blades. It was hurting in that area and the pain was also moving toward the front of my body. Kerri was my massage therapist. She listened to my concerns and where my pain was. She was very kind and down to Earth. I let her know about how past massage therapists pushed so hard on my spine that I was sore for 3 days. Kerri used perfect pressure, and all my pain was gone. Something that I did not expect, that sounds strange, was that I was able to see and read small print clearly after the massage. I would highly recommend Kerri for a great and beneficial massage. I was lucky to get her today, she is usually booked up. Her experience of massage therapy is beneficial to those who get a massages from her. read more

Massage Envy got me a same day appointment, went over with me the areas where I was having pain, got me in for a massage and I left without ANY pain and pretty much fell asleep in the chair! Alma was absolutely AMAZING. So kind, gentle, asked lots of questions, tailored the massage to my needs, and so accommodating. I will definitely be back. I filed a complaint with my bank and this location canceled my account when they owe me $280 dollars. Their computer shows I have ZERO massages on file but the money has been taken out every month. Recently revisited and I just may have found a new therapist I am very happy with. Day after my 90 minute massage this past Friday, I felt amazing!!!! No achy muscles, no soreness, no discomfort. Absolute fluidity, and felt so comfortable after my session from the day before. For the first time in AGES, my therapist made my session so comfortable and effective I even caught myself napping. Talk about ease, what a blissful massage. Better than that, I truly felt ever inch of my sore muscles and knots worked out!!! Every now and then, he asked me if the pressure was okay. Attentive, firm pressure where he addressed the areas I asked about before our session began. I didn't experience the heated cloths after the massage, but I am not going to discredit the therapist for that. Seriously enjoyed one of the most effective massages I've had in a LONG while. Definitely reconsidering removing my membership. Will return soon as I still have so many credits on file and definitely requesting this therapist again. read more

I went in yesterday for a mothers day special my husband bought me. Loved the facial it was amazing. Then i had a massage afterwards. Ive had massages from south coast winery to the mission inn and ive had them at various massage envy locations. Yesterdays massage has never happened to me before. She started to rub my feet and paused for a min then started again then paused. She went to the next one and barely rubbed and then paused as it happened again i almost got up to see what was happening. Then she rolled me over to my stomach and the whole time she was yawning. So was she falling alseep? Who knows. But my pedicure i had after at another facility, he rubbed my feet better. Its true, you get what you pay for.
