I have been a patron of Massage Heights - Flower Mound for several years now. They have a an excellent team of therapist to meet a variety of needs and preferences, and the atmosphere is soothing and exceptionally clean. Personally, "I dream of Genie" to knock out pestering stiffness to horrid migraines. Her hands are truly magical! The staff is extremely kind, as well. Celebrating my big 50, I had friends coming into town representing each decade when we met. We booked multiple rooms and each therapist helped us feel refreshed and the staff surprised us with fresh fruit and juices too! (Thank you Byron!) My husband and I get couples massages every month and this place is the best we've tried. So much so that we became members. The therapists always listen and the free aromatherapy is always good. The people at the desk are SO nice as is the rest of the staff. I used to worry about getting different therapist but I haven't had one I have not absolutely loved!! I had been to their Colleyville location and feel fortunate to find another one this close to my house sitting assignment. The Manager on duty, Leo, was super friendly and able to recommend a therapist that was able to provide a great deep tissue massage. Similar to the other locations, the atmosphere was great. This place is not without its merits: the people are kind, their prices are affordable, the place is very clean. Great hours. Something they can't control is the fact that they share a wall with a restaurant and bar -- I could hear their music through the whole massage. One thing they CAN control is the activity outside your room -- that was also quite audible during the massage. My massage therapist was very kind and sweet - but seemed unprepared for the massage. Hmmm.....well, let me start by saying the rating would be 5 star if it were solely based on my massage. Sarah did an amazing job and I was very pleased. However, the rest of my experience left much to be desired. The receptionist, also named Sarah, informed me just as my massage was to start that the firm pressure therapist that I was scheduled with didn't show up. So they would put me with another therapist but that was light/medium pressure. Now again, she did a great job!!! But, this wasn't what I asked for. After my massage, here come the sales tactics. I was completely relaxed and had to deal with saying no to sales pitches. What really bothered me was that I had to say no more than once and her sweet demeanor completely changed because I said no. The final straw was that I was being charged more than what I agreed to on the phone. I booked at the groupon rate of $75. When I booked, I asked if I should purchase the groupon or pay that same price in store. They make more money if I don't purchase the groupon. Anyway, the lady I booked with said I could pay that price in store. Receptionist Sarah tells me my price is $90. I explained to her what I agreed to at booking. She proceeds to tell me that they're not allowed to do that. She did honor the price and I appreciate that but she was rude to me about it like it was my fault. Complete relaxation that I was experiencing 5 minutes early - completely gone. I understand she was frustrated but I was only asking for what was agreed upon. I don't know that I would go back because of the reception/sales experience. I would love to see Therapist Sarah again but not with all of the extra mess going on there. Again, if this was solely based on Therapist Sarah, I would have easily given 5 stars. read more

Under New Manager - I have been a loyal customer for 7 years and will NOT be back. Poor customer service. After asking to speak with a manager it is clear they have no regard for their customers. It is clearly ran with, 'just a job mentality'. I now understand why they have such a difficult time retaining their staff. Appointments canceled, arriving to find they forgot to book/overbooked without a single apology. Now required to pay another month to leave (just billed yesterday)? Absurd. It is very disheartening. While I can say that the massage therapists are great, I will never again sign a membership to this place, nor any other, again. After signing up for a year's membership, it turns out that if you cancel your membership, you cannot use any remaining paid hours UNLESS they have an active membership (credit card) on file. So, due to health issues beyond my control which do not allow me to get massages, I'm screwed out of several hours of massages that have been paid for, and was hoping I could transfer to my husband to use. Add to that, they don't tell you that your cancellation takes 30 days to take effect, so they charge your card for an extra month if you don't cancel a month prior to your membership expiring. I've basically been taken for over $200. An expensive, yet valuable lesson. No more memberships for me. read more

The therapists and genuinely interested in helping you to relax, work on problem areas such as the back and also really helpful in flexibility. I have gone to this place for years for massages every 6 months to a year. I have referred many friends and family members and bought many gift cards as gifts for this place because I loved my experience. Recently I went in and used a gift card that was gifted to me. During my visit I was persuaded into signing up for a membership. I asked the GM that was signing me up if I had to cancel it out I would continue getting charged and she assured me I would not. Well fast forwarding to the end of my membership, guess what? I was still getting charged. I called the location and they transferred me to the GM (Tiffany) who apparently is a new GM and not the same one that signed me up. She was nice and told me she would take care of it and cancel my membership. Well, she didn't. I had to call multiple times to get it cancelled. Months later I called to use one of my membership credits and I booked the massage no problem. Minutes later I receive a call from Tiffany the GM staying my credit had expired and I was no longer able to use it. I asked if this was a joke, and proceeded to ask for her manager. Of course she said she doesn't have a manager and she handles all the business at this location. I got off the phone with this location and called another location. The other location explained that the terms and the agreement state that upon the termination date (mine was Aug 9) you have 90 days to use credits... so I still have 59 days to use my credits. Please be warned NOT to go to this location. The desk service is fantastic but the GM is absolutely horrible!!! read more

Place is decent. Finding the right massage therapist is hit or miss, some are good some not so. Front staff and management are quasi-professional at best and are less than forth coming about scheduling mishaps and the like. Most of the massage therapists I have had talk the entire time, it's fine for a few minutes to get to know the clients need a little better but becomes excessive. I am one who likes to relax while getting a massage and the talking often distracts from that. read more

Massage therapists are great here and if your in a position to schedule weeks in advance this is the best for your money anywhere in the area. That being said my appointments have been cancelled several times and to see the same therapist more than once is a challenge. I have left several messages for the manager to refund my prepayed massages since it is difficult to get an appointment scheduled or kept and have yet to hear back nearly a week after the initial contact. read more

Wow! This place is something else. I have just finished a contract and have three 90 min sessions left to use, plus a $400 gift card. I thought that I could just have my auto draft paused until I burned through what I had. WRONG. Talked to dark haired receptionist in May (last month) and she told me that she'd get back to me. She didn't. Spoke to Jeff today and after haggling with him regarding the auto draft for over 20 min he finally gave me the option to 'pause' the withdrawals through Aug. I would need to use all of those massages by Aug, but really after haggling with someone why would they even think I'd want to return? How am I going to relax and enjoy a massage when I come back to a place that is so annoying? Don't join! What a scam! read more

We have been going to Massage Heights for the last 4 or 5 years and love it! My husband and I go at least once a month but usually every couple weeks and have massages in the couples room. Genie and Brenda are the best!!! They are so good that we don't get massages on vacation anymore because we are usually disappointed. Genie and Brenda are so professional and make you feel comfortable immediately. If you have an ache in a certain muscle, they will work it out and you will feel great when you leave. Massage Heights staff is always friendly, rooms and bathrooms are clean, and massage therapists are great! I highly recommend this place and these therapist! You won't be disappointed! read more

My therapist was nice, but could not get any pressure during the massage. It was like paying someone to rub lotion on you for an hour...

As a fibromyalgia patient and pregnant I was in dire need of pain relief after suffering the stomach flu. I chose Brenda (she is a certified prenatal masseuse) and was beyond impressed! She made me feel completely at ease from conversation to the massage itself. The DEEP knots and pains in my neck and lower back were completely worked out. She also worked on everything from my temples to in between my toes. The staff was friendly and did not pressure me to get membership although I will most definitely become one soon! The establishment was clean, smelt AMAZING, professional and impressive. And for 49.99 for a full hour? That's a steal!! My only slight complaint would be I paid for an hour massage but was given only a 45 minute session. However, I felt so great I didn't notice until leaving and I am 100% confident had I mentioned it she would have filled in the last 15 minutes. I definitely recommend Massage Heights!! read more
