The only reason I'm giving it a one star is because I can't give it ZERO. This was the worse experience ever. I went here for a couples massage, and everything that could have gone wrong did. The only redeeming thing I can say is the front desk receptionist Brandon was great. Everything else was horrible. This was a couples hot stone massage booked for my significant other and myself, and we did not even have the same room together! Yes it was that bad! I only had stones used on me for 10 minutes out of my 90 minute massage, and that's after I asked what about the stones! I repeatedly asked where my boyfriend was, who was never brought into my couples room. So that bed just laid empty while he was being seen in another room. The worse massage I've ever had. Horrible experience. I just can't believe something that is supposed to be so relaxing was horribly stressful and unpleasant. The massage itself was rough and nothing relaxing about it! These people do everything in their power to have you become a member of their establishment. This means you join into a subscription model and you pay anywhere between $60-$80/mo depending on the services you get. When you are a member, they treat you great, no denying it - they call you to let you know you have an appointment upcoming, send you email and text reminders. Sometimes even send you emails to let you know they have openings so that you can swing by for a message. When you cancel your membership however, they all of a sudden forget what customer service is. I had been a member for well over 2 years, but since my preferred masseuse left, I decided i would cancel my membership. It turned out that when I cancelled I had one more credit for the following month and it was going to be charged to my card as usual. What they did not tell me is that I had 30 days to use otherwise it was forfeited. Sure it was on the cancellation contract, and I could have read it after I cancelled, but how many people take the time to read a 'cancellation contract'. Excellent customer service would have gone something like this: They would have notified me of their 30 day message credit forfeiture policy after cancellation and would have asked me if I wanted to schedule my next appointment to ensure that I received the value that I was paying for. Given the above did not happen: A courtesy call or an email reminder to let me know that I was about to forfeit my message credit would have been greatly appreciated. Did any of the above happen, however? Absolutely not! They charged my card as usual on the 4th go the month and I never heard from hem again. When I inquired why they did not call me to let me know that I had a message credit that I was about to expire, the front desk girl's response was "we could not possibly call everyone who had credits that were about to expire.". The answer was very interesting because they seem to have the logic in their computer systems to tell people to go spend money through their email system. How can they not request that their developers add simple logic to code for alerts on expiring credits. Additionally, her answered seemed to suggest they have many people with expiring credits and thus cancelled memberships. Did I mention your message credits do not expire as long as you are a member? To close off. I would just say that the message heights brand is all about getting you in the door and spending money (which is fine, I have nothing against that because I understand the nature of business), but they do not value you as a customer. You are a transaction to these people and nothing more - and this is what is not okay with me. They have lost me as a customer for ever, they have lost my wife as a customer forever, they will lose my siblings as customers for ever and I will always tell this story and discourage people from going to message heights and becoming members. It's not about the $70 they stole from me - it's about the principle of the matter. read more

As other reviewers have stated, scammy business practices. Impossible to cancel, they'll run you around in circles. Came in and cancelled in person, I was told I was cancelled, then they kept billing. Of course they never called to see if I'd like to schedule an appointment in this time. I spoke to the manager on phone later and she said I had an "immediate cancel" but could not do anything about the charges they'd already put on my card which I had cancelled MONTHS prior to (they have a 30 day policy). She gave me some spiel about not having a signed cancellation form on file... if I came IN PERSON to cancel, THEY should have had me sign that. I don't remember if I did, but either way it's incompetence. I have little faith they'll stop attempting to bill me, but that card is now cancelled, and charges reported as unauthorized, so good luck. Hundreds of dollars down the drain with these people. Partially my own fault for not watching my statements, but they're truly awful with respect to treating their customers. I have to wonder how much of their revenue comes from actual messages as opposed to memberships scammed. Other than the ACTUAL message, my first trip was a nightmare as other reviewers have stated as well. Was given an "intro" price, but at checkout was told that that intro price was only good if I signed up for their membership. That should have been the red flag right there but I'm a sucker. They proceeded to lie to me and tell me that it would be acceptable to use and HSA card. That is highly inaccurate for just about every HSA offered in the US. read more

Kirstin pressured me into signing up for a "special rate" saying I could cancel at anytime, she was extremely unprofessional and insincere in my opinion. Six month membership. Five crappy massages. I never made it to the sixth one. And to seal the deal that this is the WORST massage place in the area - the last guy (fifth massage) actually HURT me. I have had hundreds of massages during my lifetime and know what a good "deep tissue" massage feels like and he didn't have a clue. I certainly have never said "OW!" three times during a massage. He even apologized and told me that "he didn't know his own strength sometimes." Can't remember his name - but he has long hair. BEWARE. Never ever going back. They didn't care that I complained. This place has never failed me when it comes to the actual massage. The folks here do a good job. There is a pretty good turn over of therapists for some reason. If you request somebody, they may or may not work there the next time you go. One thing I would avoid!! DO NOT buy a gift certificate from this place!! My wife bought one for me for Christmas. They were running a special. They told her there was no expiration on the certificate, however, 2 months later when I tried to use it they would not honor it as stated on the certificate. It was $125 for a massage, facial, and hot rocks therapy. They said I should upgrade and gave me a discount on a 3 month membership. I should've just gotten my massage and taken the loss on the balance of the gift certificate. When you get a gift from someone it's not supposed to cost you an additional expense. 5 years+ later and Tammy is still amazing! Tammy has worked out knots and issues in one session better than other places have in multiple sessions. When I've had shoulder problems she's gotten to the root of the problem and worked it out (better than when I've gone to a chiropractor). Regina is also really good. I've never had a bad experience here. As far as the billing and membership stuff goes I think people do need to be aware of what they're getting into. In general it seems like gyms and places with "memberships" like this make it difficult to cancel and it's something we just have to deal with. read more

I called at 10:30 am to lock in a 1 hr appointment for 11:00am. I arrived promptly (10 min early) for paperwork. Once I was shown to the waiting area, I sat for 30 min before going back to the reception desk and informing then that I still have not been greeted by my therapist. They apologized and said it was because the Internet was down. My only issue is that while initially making my appt on the phone, I provided my credit card info as insurance for the therapists time in case I were to cancel. I COMPLETELY understand that time is money, and was really disappointed when my time was taken for granted on MY dime. My therapist Yessica was awesome and I will be back to see her again. We were very disappointed in our couples massage this week. We asked for 2 female masseuses, and that didn't happen. Filled in our requests on the iPad at check in & neither therapist read our requests prior to the massages. Asked for firm/deep pressure and received a Swedish massage. Gave feedback as we were leaving and my therapist (Rebecca) acted like it was our fault for the bad service. Sad. Wouldn't recommend this massage Heights to anyone. DO NOT GO HERE! Extremely unethical practices during some of the worst times our country has ever faced. I was a member for about 10 years, and during COVID they continued to charge my credit card. After 2 months of being charged while they were closed, I called and asked them to freeze my account. About 3 months later, they reopened and I felt comfortable going back into a massage place, I called to schedule an appointment and to use the two months of credit that they charged while they were unable to render services. I was told that my credits had expired after 30 days and the only way I could get the massages that I had already paid for, was to reinstate my credit card - again. I told them that was crazy and I wanted to use the credits that they already charged. Needless to say, it did not go well. I got corporate involved and to no avail. I finally disputed charges with my credit card company. The manager at Massage Heights Vintage was rude and not helpful at all. Owners never would reply or get in touch with me. I really liked this place. For the $49 first time charge, it was definitely worth it. Nelda was really good. She listened to my concerns, and really worked on the painful spots. My cousin and I had massages there today and the massage part was good. The lady that I had was attentive to what I wanted and focused on what I had asked. So about the last 20mins or so into our massage, my cousin's massage therapist started to cough. Ok one cough, no big deal. But then about a few mins later she started to cough again. My cousin and I are both registered nurses and we didn't say anything at first but a few mins later her cough was almost uncontrollable. My cousin even suggested for her to maybe step out of the room and get a drink of water but she just said "I'm just hot" and turned on the fan in the room and kept going. Of course she kept coughing and we were just really uncomfortable at that point. I finally got up and asked "are u ok"? She said she was but she clearly needed to get a drink of water or something. I also had to tell her to put her mask over her nose because it wasn't over her nose. It would've been totally ok if she stepped out and got a drink of water and came back in but she didn't and that didn't help her cough whatsoever. Our so called 'relaxing' massage did not end up like so. Her cough became so disruptive and we just got so uncomfortable. I told the receptionist about our experience and she gave us a free hot stone coupon that I probably wont use because we won't be coming back. read more

My mother and I go here monthly since we have a membership. We came here for the first time 2 years ago for Mother's Day and we signed up for a year membership and been with them ever since. Their staff is very accommodating. Everyone is super nice and makes you feel welcome. They have a "zen" room that is lightly dimmed and very quiet to put you in the relaxing mood when you're waiting for your massage. All their therapist are very professional. My mother and I do have a few favorite therapist but all of them are very good in their own way and each have their own techniques. They give you water right after your massage. Just make sure that you're never late to your appointment because it subtracts from your massage time. I would highly recommend people to try it because you will not regret it read more

Where to begin? The massage therapists are always great. I usually trust to get any random therapist and they turn out to be amazing. Not only are they good at what they do, but they leave a lot of room to make it comfortable to communicate to them whether I want something done differently. I haven't gotten any attitude from anyone in the place. I love Katie, Rebecca, and Regina for the massage therapists! And let's not forget the two amazing receptionists that help me out: Cierra and Spencer. Whenever signing up for the massage packages, everything is not only laid out in the contract but also explained by the receptionists. They tell you about cancellations as well and the rules regarding that. If you're unhappy with the outcome, it simply means that you didn't stick to your end of the contract. They're very helpful every time I call and ask questions so don't hesitate :) Tip: always get your bed warmed for the massages, it feels great! read more

Nice location due to shops around the area, but this place can use a little TLC theratipicly with more experience here. This was my initial member location. I had to cancel at the end of my membership and seek business elsewhere during the process because they had therapists who weren't really good at deep pressure massages which I preferred. I would get a light to medium pressure when my preference wasn't. Couldn't really find an excellent therapist here for a massage monthly, but other Massage Heights location like Kuykendahl location, League City and Eldridge fit my preferences. I feel to try other companies for now and see if it would better suit me. read more

I am so furious with the (lack of) customer service of this company (privately owned)!!!! I canceled my membership because they are so awful! I called today and a manager was so rude to me. I asked to have them extend the time I had to use my 2.5 hours....yes already paid for in full...so I could actually use the time. I was told it is policy not to extend and there was absolutely nothing they could do about it! I told them it was a policy not a law and instead of stealing almost $200 from a customer they could bend the policy. When I asked to speak to the owner I was told that information is not given out. Then I asked if the owner could call me and the reply was that they could not guarantee he would call. No name was given for the owner or the manager....again great customer service...NOT!!!! Buyer beware if you're thinking of getting a membership at this location!!!! Had to give one star to complete the review or it would not have gotten a single one. read more

This location really has horrible customer service! I missed my massage because my son had a seizure and dislocated his shoulder and then had an allergic reaction to the drugs they gave him. I finally get home after days in the hospital, they call and say "are you coming?" I say oh my goodness I just walked in the door from the hospital, and give the circumstances. They say, "too bad we are charging you anyway." So I say I can bring paperwork from the hospital as proof. They say, "doesn't matter." Really? Wow. I wouldn't even still be a member there but no matter what you do they won't stop charging your credit card. I feel bad for the employees. It's absolutely the policies of the owners. I have gone through three different massage therapists here, and I think I have found the person for me. I was unlucky the first two times and still gave them a generous tip. I voiced my concern to one of the sweet girl up front about the therapist shorting me my time as well. He came and got me late (about 7-10min) and ended the massage 10 minutes earlier! I was so upset because I paid for a 90 minute massage and got less than what was paid for. Also, I have noticed that in the emails they send you, it states that the massage will actually be 10 minutes shorter, which I think is ridiculous. I religiously get massages in Boston and have never came across a place where you paid for X amount of time but get less due to 5min to change out of your clothes and 5min to get dressed. To be honest with you, I only need a minute to get in and out of my clothes. There needs to be an implantation of some new policy in this aspect. My suggestion to anyone is to try another therapist (if the first one did not work, don't get discouraged) because the girls up front are so sweet that I really enjoy seeing them every other week as well as my therapist (Julianna). Great deep tissue ! She definitely puts in elbow grease for my massages! Oh, I have noticed none of the other two therapists massaged my feet unless I did an elevation (foot scrub), but Julianna does it every single time. read more
