She was very knowledgeable to the products and what they did, along with helping me to feel comfortable and at ease, in order to relax. My face feels amazing and soooooo soft! Very unprofessional. Would not return. When I called to make an appointment the first time I was on hold for over 10 minutes so I hung up. I called back an hour or two later to to book the appointment and told the girl over the phone that I was on the phone earlier and got put on hold For over 10 minutes earlier and I hung up and that I'm trying to book an appointment , she apologized and said let me call you right back... then hung up and called me 5 to 10 mins later. She calls me back and I explain I have a gift card and wasn't sure how much is on it, she checks and tells me I have $89. She asks me if it's my first time booking with them and I say no but at this location it is. She proceeds to tell me that since it's my first time at that location she believes she can honor the introductory rate and my massage would be $65 so that leaves me with left over money on the card. She asks if I'd like to add an enhancement or use that as gratuity. I book the appointment and she does not tell me to come ahead of time to fill out anything. I show up at my appointment a minute before the time it is at and the girl at the front has me fill out stuff, it asks me to circle focus areas and I circle my back and my feet. The therapist doesn't start my massage until 10 mins after the time and then finishes 5 mins before the 60mins is up. She did not touch my feet whatsoever nor my scalp or face. I go to the front and the girl at the front asks me how it went I say good but I feel like I didn't get the full 60 mins because my appointment was at 10 but started at 10:10 and ended at 10:55. She goes oh well I did check you in at 10:05 and it's 5 mins for undressing and 5 mins for dressing. In my head I'm like well I wasn't told to come prior to my appointment time to fill out anything but I didn't say anything. Then she proceeds to tell me it will be $130 for my massage today, I tell her I wasn't told that and the girl on the phone told me it would be the introductory rate. She says no because you have been with us before and I'm like yeah I know but whoever I spoke to said they would honor the introductory rate and she says no because we are a chain. I understand that and it makes sense but I just do not like being misinformed. Super unprofessional. Also, at the previous location I went to I felt like I got my money's worth compared to this location. These are not the words of a person who loves to leave bad reviews. I hardly ever do. However, this time I'm going to bc I believe we have too many options in the area to settle for the experience I had today. I am 8 months pregnant and scheduled a 60-minute massage + a 60-minute facial to treat myself. It was scheduled for 10am. At 10:10, my therapist frantically comes into the "relaxation room" (aka the nicer waiting room behind the doors) with her purse on her shoulder, looking 12 kinds of stressed & dishelved, obviously just now getting to work. Traffic sucks so I try to keep an open mind & follow her into the room. She tells me to "take everything off & lay on your back" - a no no for prenatal massage but again I give her the benefit of the doubt (thinking she misspoke), disrobe, and lay on my side like I'm supposed to. Frantic knock at the door seconds after I settle in. She asks me to move to the next room, now seeming annoyed & all but fighting with the esthetician in front of me, and says it's bc the esthetician doesn't have all her tools in this room. It isn't easy to just hop off a table when you're this pregnant so I just stare for a second, and she starts grabbing my clothes before bolting out of the door & leaving it wide open. I get off the table, wrap the sheet around myself, and take my naked pregnant body to the new room where I see a robe hanging on a hook. A robe. Gee, think maybe I'd have liked to maintain my dignity and wear that robe as I walked down the hall naked in a sheet? I get onto the new table & see the clock. It's now just shy of 10:20. She comes back into the room & tells me she didn't know I was also having a facial bc she didn't read my paperwork. Well I'm sure glad I showed up half an hour early to be as detailed as possible so you can get to work late & not even bother to glance at it. She starts massaging and my shoulder is so uncomfortably pressed into the table that I find myself focusing on where I hurt vs the zen place massages typically take you. Her hands are rushed and she doesn't concentrate on my back like I requested (...bc she didn't care about my paperwork at all...didn't even call me by the right name). She does not ask if I have any areas I'd like to focus on. It feels like she is trying to rush my entire body so she can be finished. Just as I would start to relax she'd move on to the next body part on the list. Had me laying on my back for more than half of this. Even her massage movements were frantic and rushed. She massaged my scalp which I purposely declined on the paperwork (again with that pesky paperwork) and for a second I thought she'd stabbed me in the head it felt so terrible. Then Ms. Speedy Hands tells me she's finished. I open my eyes and see it isn't even 11am yet. If you're keeping track, she didn't begin until 10:20 bc she was late to work and then had me switch rooms. Cool. Esthetician comes in. I've now been on my back for a hot minute and I'm not feeling awesome at all but she brings me water so I have hope. I was laying my head on a pillow for more elevation / support (you know, something about my heart getting adequate blood to my unborn child) and she complains about this as she sets up. "How am I supposed to do this? I am short." I ignore her and drink my water bc sitting up to drink it requires all my focus. I lay back down. She says "...I cannot do your facial unless I stand up." She's annoyed. I don't say anything bc I really don't know what TO say? Sorry about your luck? I'm sorry my physical state is an inconvenience? And then she moves my pillow. Yes, she takes the pillow from under my head to make me fully flat on the table. A big no no....and not to mention, extremely inconsiderate and ignorant to boot. "That's better for me." Her. I hoist a pillow under my own legs to at least make sure they're elevated and decide to just get through this. She doesn't ask about my skincare goals / routine or anything of the sort. Zero communication as she moves on to each step to the point that I'd startle when suddenly my skin was being stabbed or pinched for an extraction. She finishes and it's okay. Not earth shattering awesome but not painful or horrible. It feels more like I'd simply taken the time to properly cleanse & exfoliate my skin. Nothing more. She brings me more water afterwards & that's appreciated, though it feels like it's a final attempt at getting gratuity based on the awkward small talk attempt that came with it. Facial was better than the massage but I really don't think that's saying much. As I check out they go over the standard marketing ploy of trying to convince me to sign up today bc of the awesome savings. I don't. Instead I leave with a smoother face but much of the same soreness I walked in with. Beautiful location but I don't think I'll bother going back. As I said, there are too many nearby options to waste my time...and wasting time is exactly what I feel I did with my morning spent here. read more

The establishment makes it challenging to end the membership so take note of the following: I called to cancel my membership and I was told that I would be placed on a "cancelation list". This is a list that Message Heights Vintage Park uses to call you back to cancel your membership. Per the receptionist, they only make calls on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I have contacted them twice and have been told that the call back list is a "first come, first serve basis." And you can be sure no one has called me back. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I have been a customer for 4 years at this location. I have seen it go further and further downhill. Good massage therapists being run off. Still booking appointments for people who aren't there and then switching on you last minute. I had to have major surgery the second half of this year. 3 surgeries in 3 months. I called and talked to manager Alexis. She promised to pause my membership while I couldn't use it. Then unbeknownst to me just didn't charge me one month and started charging me again. No notice no call. So then I called to tell her how unacceptable that is. She waits all day to call me, and then talks over me, like a rude child, and then hangs up on me. Bye Felicia. I'm done with this crappy place. If they could keep decent help maybe I would have returned. But stealing? In the economy we are in because of covid? No ma'am. See ya! I would steer clear of this "manager". I can't believe anyone would hire her for customer service. I'm in relationship management and this is the worst I've seen. read more

My husband scheduled a couples massage for our anniversary. He scheduled it with Sierra 5 days in advance and received the confirmation email after calling to reserve the apt. We showed up for the apt and apparently one of the masseuses had a family emergency come up and cancelled the apt and never communicated that to us. We waited for 20 minutes while they tried to find another masseuse and one never showed so we left and will request a refund from Groupon since that's how it was booked. Horrible customer service by letting this fall between the cracks. read more

Massage Mafia. They won't let me cancel. Run around playing phone tag with the manager. Therapists are nice enough and competent, but it's still a form of paid intimacy with all the creepiness that follows. At another Massage Heights location I overheard one of the "therapists" tell an obviously lonely old lady that she loved her. Made me nearly cry.. sadness mixed with disgust. Why does something as simple as a massage have to come with so much BS attached to it...the language on their hold message is vomit-inducing, "Lifestyle Consultants", "Elevations", "Therapeutic Modalities". Then again one could have seen that coming. I'm going to stick with Thai places when I absolutely need help with the tight places in my back that I can't reach. They are more creative (e.g. walking on back), with less BS and work harder for the money, with no subscription. (Edit 1-27-15) Ehh, no they're not sorry about the inconvenience. I signed up for a membership my very first visit in March right before non essential businesses shutdown. I have not been able to go back since because I work in someone's home and am obligated to limit unnecessary outings to protect them and their children. I held off on inquiring about cancelling thinking that the pandemic wouldn't be going on this long. After explaining my situation to the manager, I've been refused cancellation AND refund for all the credits I've paid for and not been able to use. This is extremely unethical business practice and there are many people in cypress that have had the same experience with this location it's all over Nextdoor. When you sign up for a membership the associate undermines the control the contract gives them over you. The contract fully protects the company but does not protect the consumer which I guess I should've expected from a franchise because they value profit over their customers. read more

I setup a surprise massage for my boyfriend for his birthday and i specifically told the lady over the phone it was a surprise and because I was having to put a card to hold the appointment I told her to also just charge the massage to my card. We had also discussed that she was going to quote the massage at the Groupon price which was 49$ so I didn't have to go through Groupon.. He loved it his massage that's why y'all are getting two stars. He comes home & I ask him to make sure they didn't make him pay anything and apparently they charged him for his own birthday massage even though I gave the lady specific directions. Not only did they charge him they also charged him in person price at 79.99. I thought me and the lady had agreed she could give me the Groupon price so I didn't have to go through them. No big deal I just gave them a call and told them to void that payment and charge my card & to charge it for the correct price. The lady told me the manager would call me right back.... I never got a call back. Two weeks later I have a charge from them for 79.99 so I call again and ask I'm still being charged that amount after I called and corrected it. The lady on the phone had the nerve to argue with me saying it's because he got an elevation treatment but again that came with it on the Groupon. So she says okay we will refund you the remaining amount. So they refunded me 20.00. I don't know who hired these people but they obviously can't do math. 79.99 minus 49.00 isn't 20. So they owe me 30.99 and I only received 20.00. I will never go through this location again these people have the worst customer service EVER. read more

I used one of their "First Time Guest" Packages on Friday, 1/30/15 and I left there stressed! It was what I call the "Bait & Switch" tactic. I truly needed a massage and thought "wow, this sounds like a great deal" so I scheduled a 1 1/2 hour massage with hot stones. Even after confirming my appointment later; they still got it all wrong! When I arrived the person treating me asked if I was there for a facial massage and I said no....of course she figured it out since she wondered why I would be wearing make-up. I then said I had stones included not a facial. She said she'd accommodate that and would let them know up front. Shortly after when the massage started at 1:15pm, I confirmed that I was getting a 1 1/2 hr massage and she again said "no they have you scheduled for an hour massage". She said she'd let them know the issues I was having since I was not happy as a 1st time customer. Long story short when I got to pay, the only thing offered by their Lead Lifestyle Consultant was "free stones". I said "really $12 off for a first time customer?" She was rude by saying "It's more than that - stones are $40" and I said "not under the new customer special". She continued to say that it would still be $20 under their New Customer Special. I even said I had a picture of the cost but I forgot I had turned my phone off and by then I just wanted to be gone after being treated so rudely by her in front of her other staff. I was going to schedule bi-weekly appts. but I just wanted to leave that place. I later called the Mgr but he was not in....later the Assistant Director, Kristin called and said she agreed that customers shouldn't be treated this way. She said she could throw in hot stones for my next visit. She said she couldn't refund my money since they are a franchise and it would be hard to explain that I got my 1 1/2 hrs massage but I interrupted her and said "that's the problem; I didn't get my 1 1/2 massage". She then said that the people said I came back to the register around that time frame and I said "my massage started at 1:15pm and the therapist was showing me exercises at the end to do at home and by the time I left the room after relaxing". It wasn't even 2 1/2 hours on my receipt after arguing with the girl. Kristin was to call me back after confirming and has yet to call me as of Monday, @ 1:40pm. THIS IS HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE! It's a shame I really liked the lady who worked on me (I even tipped her DIA $30). read more

EPIC FAIL. For the last three years my wife and I have had a couples massage on Christmas Eve. Kind of a gift to each other. This year I leave work early to pick my wife up and we drive to the location. We are all checked in and sitting in the tranquility room waiting. The lady at the front desk comes back and says they cannot get a hold of one of the massage therapists and we will have to reschedule. This massage was scheduled a month ago, they could have contacted us before we got there or even before they checked us in but that would be to customer service friendly. This has ruined a nice tradition we had started because there was no way to find something this late on Christmas Eve. There is nothing this firm can do to apologize as this is an event you cannot come back from. My wife is a "member" but that will end immediately. read more

There was a huge mixup because I'm not suppose to get a massage my 1st trimester but they did a light massage anyway probably because I was already waiting for 30 mins. Late in my pregnancy I had really bad back pains and wasn't able to sleep. I got a prenatal massage by Shondi and she is absolutely amazing. My back pain lessened and I was able to sleep better. Went to her weekly until I delivered and then went back for a proper Swedish massage and she didn't disappoint. Definitely would see her again! This past year has been the absolute abysmal customer experience for us. We have been lied to, had appointments changed without calls, they changed my husbands therapist without discussion. This review is for the facility and the front desk service only. My therapist Ryan deserves a 5 star and it is a shame that he does not have the 5 star support to back him up. In the past several months the facility is dirty, the bathrooms are disgusting lately as they were this morning and the service from the new main girl on the front desk is poor. Can we have Elle come back PLEASE! When they got a new computer system a few weeks ago it started charging us new pricing and we have been members for almost 4 years. When I came this morning they tried to charge me again new pricing and I was told by the girl at the desk that is just the way it is going to be because of the new computer system. I asked if what she was saying was that each and every time I come I will be charged incorrectly and I will have to remember to ask for the correct pricing. She said yes and they will have to manually enter it. I asked if this would ever get corrected and she said no and rambled on about it being overseas or something? Well if that is not poor customer service I do not know what is. Then because I came in the office at 8:45 and mentioned I came in early to switch up my appointments with my husband and didn't want to back them up on the front desk she said that the door might be unlocked but technically they are not open until 9. My appointment (as many others appointments are) is at 9:00 so why would you not open "technically"until 9:00. That is the first I heard of that. Also, she tells the only other girl there at 8:51 to make sure she starts vacuuming now for any others that show up early like myself. I walk back to the restrooms (which are the WORST I have ever seen them) then to the tranquility room and there is no music on and the vacuum is going. This is the first time in almost 4 years that the people that come in at 9 am did not matter and were apparently an inconvenience to the front desk staff. I would like to finish by saying that the water at the front door with orange, lemon and mint looks as if my 4 year old grandson cut up the fruit and also decided that the brown on the leaves of the mint were acceptable to include in my water. This place is going downhill fast and I only wish that someone would decide that maybe if they ran this place with any professionalism (of which the girl up front does not have any of) they might get more business and not lose business and staff due to the lack of care given to the facility and clients! I feel very sorry for the therapists that have to deal with this girl and the management that does not seem to care. If it was not for Ryan I would cancel my membership today and find another place to go! read more

I deal with chronic pain from Degenerative disc disease and had been in so much pain this past week that when I walked in I could barely stand up straight. I liked that I didn't have to make an appointment as I was in sooo much pain I could not afford to be turned away. This was my very first experience with Massage Heights and I appreciated how the intake portion was quick and all on a tablet. I was seen by Lynn who I explained all my trouble areas to. I loved that she actively listened to my ailments and came up with a customized massage for me! Lynn was absolutely outstanding!!! From her customer service to her knowledgeable advice in proactively preventing the pain to her healing hands!!!! I will be singing her praises every chance I get! I felt such amazing pain relief from her stretching and massaging. I will definitely become a regular as the price point is even better with a membership. I also tried the hemp oil for its anti inflammation properties and the lavender oil to help calm my tension headache. Both worked wonders!! I haven't been to this location in like 2-3 years. ... because the customer service was horrible and they had forgot to schedule me and acted like it was my fault for not double checking. Then after all of that my massage was horrible! !!! I have told anyone who is interested in this location to either go to massage envy or go to another location. I've gone to the cypress 290 location and i loved it but don't go there anymore since my therapist left. .. i tried another guy but he did a horrible job and talked the whole time. A massage was the last thing on my mind and they were ruthless in getting new card info, dispite the fact that I told them I'd call them when I had time. I had credits for massages I never had time for even so they had my money already! I was the only one losing money and they acted like I was stealing from them. I enjoyed my massage and my masseuse very much. The facility is very clean and inviting and comfortable. I was given a gift certificate from a friend. The only down side for me is the pressure to join or get a membership when you are checking out. I do enjoy a massage and wish it was in my budget to splurge on a regular basis but it just is not & the hard sell just does not appeal to me. So amazing. I booked a couples massage on a Sunday after lunch. I was lucky enough to be squeezed in at 8pm that same night. Randy was my masseuse and he has hands from heaven. I had the hot stones and my friend had a foot scrub. His masseuse was a lady but I don't remember her name.She was short with thick black hair and very polite. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a great massage. The location is perfect. As there are lots of shops in the plaza. The place itself is very nice and clean with an extremely pleasant and helpful staff. I also like that they have a membership. If I lived anywhere near one of their locations I would have gotten one. I was overly pleased with my experience and if I ever go back to Houston I will be sure to go back. read more

She was very knowledgeable on skin care and did an excellent job. The only thing I would improve is a robe in between sessions when more than one are booked at a time. Returned for another massage. This time I had Ms. Sandy and it was probably the best massage I've ever had!! She communicated with me the whole time and although some parts were slightly painful (my muscles are very tight) she adjusted the pressure for what I NEEDED instead of what I WANTED. And boy was she right! I followed her instructions of what to do after, and I seriously feel like a new person! If you have headaches or sinus issues I suggest adding on the facial massage!
