Be very careful about giving them your card information. I have not been a member for almost two years (which was hard to cancel in the first place and kept getting charges after canceling). Got a call a week ago saying they charged my card information and wanted to know if I wanted to schedule my massage! I was so confused. Its been over a week and the manager still has not called me back and everyday there is another $89 charge! I've called already multiple times and asked them to delete my credit card information and stop charges.. read more

The therapists are great. If you have a gift certificate or just want to go in and pay full price do that, do not subscribe no matter how great of a deal they offer. I wish I could leave a review for just the therapists. I will miss them. Savannah, Sona, Ronnie and Jericho are all amazing and caring people. I would give them ten stars just for being them. Unfortunately, the predatory practices of the company left me trying to recuperate therapy I had already paid for in the form of monthly charges being drawn from my HSA, and then my credit card (which they also had on file but didn't ask if they could charge), to the tune of 17 credits (each worth 30 min or more than $50 for full price sessions) after I was able to get three of the charges refunded. This was a year after I initially requested the subscription be cancelled. We are now going on nearly two years of me trying to use credits, and them taking my account off freeze and charging me. Unfortunately, I did not notice they had drained my HSA until finding several charges on my credit card. Using these credits has been a pain - going back to the reason I wanted to cancel. And nearly every time I have gone in they have claimed I owe them $89.99 or I can't use the credits I have already paid for. Honestly, I left today thinking it would have been more therapeutic to let them take my money. Go there for the therapists. Anticipate having a hard time cancelling any subscription. I'm glad my relationship with them has ended. Looking back on it, I can see how from their perspective, my credits were not worth much. And tipping based on $90 I tipped %20 and sometimes $25, when the therapists are probably anticipating a tip based on $164.99. Thinking of it that way, I understand why it seemed like I was confronted with a righteous obligation to charge me $89.99, today, which they were nice enough to realize I wouldn't be able to pay, but I still won't ever go back there. Reply to customer service: Please just uphold the promise to cancel my subscription that was made yesterday. Please make sure the subscription is fully canceled. When I initially called to resolve the problem in April I could have been offered a full refund dating back to the last time I had a scheduled appointment, or I could have been given the credits I had already paid for to use without having to have my account remain in some sort of active status. Even if I had been offered to use the money I had paid as a gift certificate, while having to pay full price for sessions - that would have been better. Also, the reason my HSA covered it, it massage is considered therapy, which made me a client or patient, not a customer. read more

Wow, what an absolutely terrible experience. I would leave 0 stars if I could. I scheduled a 90 min massage about 3 weeks ago, and had a horrible massage. In 90 minutes the therapist failed to even massage the front half of my body. Additionally the 90 minute massage was actually about 75 minutes. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, they reassured me that someone from management would be reaching out. I paid for my service AND left a tip. I left massage heights feeling like I needed a massage. 3 weeks go by and nothing. So I called and spoke with Coca who apologized and then stated that they had not had a manager for the past few weeks and that a new manager, Nick, who had only been with the company for 1 week would call me same day and that Coca would be reaching out to me personally to follow up. I did not receive a phone call from either Nick or Coco. Buyers BEWARE! This place is obviously poorly managed and clearly hire inexperienced staff. Massage chains like this will typically have a regional manager, who should have reached out, but again I've been left in the dust. After several promises of ratification for a terrible service, literally no one has reached out, terrible costumer service, I will not be returning and I would never suggest or refer anyone to this company. read more

The actual massage therapists I have had here have been awesome. As for the customer service for the front desk and overall organization. It's abysmal. The absolute lack of communication and care when it comes to scheduling would have some written up and or fired anywhere else. I've been called less than two hours before an appointment to tell me my therapist will not be in until Tuesday (you knew this ahead of time), called to be told the same therapist licensure expired and they needed to cancel, um no, find someone else. Charged erroneously $40.00 to my checking account. Been talked down to by front desk. I cringe to book appointments because I know I will have to fight my backside off when the time comes for my massage in order to keep it. So much for relaxing. Get your front desk together. Jerico is an excellent massage therapist. I can always count on a great massage with him. He does a fantastic job of helping relieve my tension & chronic pain. This week I was struggling with cluster migraines and couldn't be face down for this particular session. Jerico made it work and provided relief as well as deep relaxation. Misleading cancellation policies - Beware! My boyfriend generously gifted me a 6-month membership for my birthday. When he signed up over the phone, he provided his card but never signed a contract or agreed to any cancellation terms. He was simply told to call after the 6th charge came through to cancel so that he didn't get any additional charges. When I went in for my first appointment, they had me sign the contract--yet he was the one paying so not sure how that contract even holds up. Fast forward six months: I called three times and emailed three times to cancel, only to finally reach a manager who told me they require 30 days' notice--meaning we are now being charged for an extra month, making it a 7-month membership instead of the 6 months we agreed to. This was never disclosed to my boyfriend when he signed up. If signing up was as simple as a quick phone call, why does canceling require multiple calls, emails, and a signed form? A fair policy should allow customers to cancel just as easily as they signed up. This kind of unclear and difficult cancellation process is exactly why California has consumer protection laws against misleading membership policies. But hey, I didn't realize Massage Heights was hurting for money so badly that they needed to squeeze one more month of membership out of me. If you're considering a membership here, get everything in writing and be prepared for a frustrating cancellation process. read more

It's a great place for a massage. It's clean, quiet, you can relax, every therapist has something different to offer. Once you find the favorite one, make sure to book a month ahead to be able to get in due to their specific schedule. It's a bit hard to get in last minute, so planning is key. I had a membership, so when prices went up, mine didn't. I always booked ahead but they probably need more therapist since it's so hard to get in on the short notice. Anyways, I enjoyed my 4 years with MH so far. Manager has always been accommodating as well. read more

The girl that signed me up lied about when my membership fees were due, found out today it was due on the 27th, when I signed up she had asked me if I wanted it to be taken out on the 1st or 15th, I said the 1st, every month they pulled out my fees early so I figured they just pulled out the fees a couple days before the 1st. Also it was so hard to cancel my membership, I tried for a couple months haven't even been using it for months and I wasn't able to cancel "until a manager contacted me" thankfully I went in today and was told the girl signed me up for a year plan without me knowing that, and that my fee due date was actually the 27th not the 1st Rude front desk employees, I can honestly tell you it's not worth the money, go to spavia, that's the best massage and facial I have ever had in this area :) read more

I've been a member since 2018 and have always enjoyed the massages from Massage Heights. It's a great way for me to set up time for self care without costing a fortune. They have great therapists- though I do have my favorites (Linh) due to her deep tissue release. I recently tried their facial services. The first appt was 60 minutes and I added a red light treatment with Sona. It was heaven. I didn't have any breakouts or adverse effects on my skin afterwards, and I have sensitive skin. I made a second appt a month later for a 90 minutes facial with Sona again and again added the red light therapy treatment. Amazing. Incredibly relaxing, Sona is so friendly and informative and listens to my concerns. She gave me an amazing facial using all the Dermalogica products. My skin felt deeply cleansed, refreshed, and supple. I will be incorporating facials now to my self care routine with Massage Heights on a regular basis! read more

Overpriced. They only give you 50 minutes of the one hour massage that you pay for. Most of their massage therapists are average skilled, some are better than others. What's the most frustrating, I've called them 3 times to cancel my membership and 3 months later, they are still charging my card. It's next to impossible to get a manager to call you back. Wish I never would have signed up. Waste of money. Edit: they did resolve the cancellation issue but it's still overpriced. Must appointment was 10 minutes late to get started, not a big deal but that time was taken out of my massage time, that's a problem. If an appointment starts late on account of the massage therapist (who was actually really good), that shouldn't be deducted from my time. Poor business practice. read more

I haven't had a single negative experience here, and I've probably seen almost every therapist by now. The boutique candles and skincare are high end, and high end prices, but 100% quality and worthwhile if that is what you're in the market for. The front desk is always pleasant, and I quite enjoy chatting with them briefly if/when there's a wait time. The therapists all have their specialty, but in my experience have also all proven versatile. I personally want to give Heather a shout out - she's been my go to for a while now, and was willing to take on a medical condition for me that was challenging and helped me to recover fully and quicker than most. She really went above and beyond I would definitely recommend a membership here - it gives a great discount and I find the forced commitment to be beneficial for my wellbeing. read more

STAY AWAY! I would give zero stars if I could! My friend had a membership so I decided to come give massage heights a try I unfortunately signed up for a membership. The first few times were great but later on it got worse. I kept getting cancelled on last minute, And Massage Therapists were leaving very often. The front desk is so unprofessional and rude! They are glued to their phones and talk really loud about unnecessary subjects. I hoped my massage would make up for it but when I got into the room there was a roach! I ended up killing it myself. In the morning time there is banging through the walls from the Mimosa House next door. I was not relaxed the whole time! Since then I tried to cancel my membership but was actively avoided by their manager, I eventually got to cancel but a few of my girlfriends had this same problem! read more

I've been a member for a year at this location. All the staff has been kind and welcoming at every visit. I do like a firm massage and not all the therapists can provide that. I know that's normal and you have to find the person that works best for you. Lou has been amazing; I got lucky finding her! I'm sure that most people wouldn't like the fact that it is membership-based, but that is one of the reasons why I like it. It forces me to go.
