During the start and the course of the massage, it was also unclear what was expected in terms of clothing since we chose a foot reflexology which also included some body massage. Typically this is a clothes on massage at other places and it seemed to be the same case here based on the initial conversation. But later we were told you need to undress for the full benefit of the massage, i.e. it was no longer optional. Which, after the massage, was clear why but it wasn't what I was told/expecting going in. There was a little "tucking/folding" of the under garments to massage your lower back but without warning, lol. Again, the after effect of the massage was great so I'd suggest keeping an open mind if you decide to come here! She told me I would be sore, but I have been getting bodywork for over 50 years and that didn't bother me. I did get a little sore, but the relief from the tightness was worth the temporary pain. I climb a lot of ladders, and for the first time in several years I now have enough flexibility in my right hip to let me climb and descend symmetrically instead of like a gimp. Even my chiropractor was impressed. That's incredible! I am going to add the cupping next time. I believe you can also get a milk toast type massage, but I appreciate a deep massage for my high mileage body. I work hard and do a fair amount of heavy lifting, so my muscles are need serious help.
