They have many stations for manicures, pedicures, massages, and foot reflexology. When I saw their list of prices and I was surprised by how reasonable they were for their location. As a bigger person who has been walking on the treadmill and working out Orange Theory up to 5 times a week, my feet have been killing me, so I got a foot reflexology massage. To say my feet feel better than they have since I can remember has been an understatement. I plan on going back to Mulan Spa for more feet massages, and to make it part of my regular health routine. I hit my head on the table and had a noticeable bump at the back of my head. I had to go to urgent care immediately to make sure there was no serious injury. When I contacted the owner about the incident and asked about covering my medical expenses, I was told that they had insurance, but the next day the owner told me to contact a lawyer instead. There was no updates since then. I'm sharing this because I think other customers should be aware of the potential safety risk. I hope the business takes this seriously and improves safety measures for future customers.

If you're not familiar with these types of massage stations - most are like this one where the space is divided into different sections - some for two people, some for 4 people and then a row of reclining chairs. You are assigned a masseuse and then taken back to your area. They give you a bin to place your jacket, purse/bags and they place it under your massage table where you can see it while you are laying down. You stay fully clothed, and they place a thin blanket over you for during the massage. When you sign in you are asked what areas you'd like the masseuse to focus on. I chosen my back and shoulders. If you choose the same focus - I'd recommend wearing something sleeveless to make it easier and more effective for your masseuse to work your arms, neck and shoulder areas. The price is reasonable, especially in this economy! And because it's reasonable, I always tip very well. These masseuses work hard and really put their whole body into it! These are not the wimpy, spa kind of massages...these are the nice, strong kind with good pressure that really really melt your stress away! Although, you do have the chance to tell them at check-in what level of pressure/intensity and pace you prefer. So if you prefer a slower, more gentle massage they can do that too! left feeling renewed and refreshed! And plan to visit again. Super convenient Ballard location with easy parking. After the massages I felt very relaxed, my muscles felt stretched out, and I had an overall feeling of wellbeing. The Magnolia facility is very nicely laid out. The massage room is spacious and comfortable. The overall setting of the facility is very calming. I had been getting massages from a private practitioner for about 10 years. Unfortunately she moved so I've been looking for a really quality massage. I think I've found the therapist and facility.

I felt comfortable around him right away, which helped me to relax. One thing that I definitely noticed is that there was very little chit chat during the first massage. Just a little brief chit chat here and there. I appreciated that not only because Joe wasn't too chatty (he and I did chat a little bit here and there, though, which was nice), but because I have received massage from over 70 massage therapists in the Seattle area over the past 20 years, and there are very few therapists that I feel comfortable enough with during the FIRST session to not feel at all compelled to chat with the therapist quite a bit during my massage. I usually want to know who is massaging me! I get curious about the person!! Haha. I can honestly say I've never received massages quite like the massages that I received from Joe. I enjoyed some interesting stretches, some neck work that felt very needed, and some great mid-to-low-back bodywork. Part of my Deep Lomi Style massage was done with me positioned side-lying - my favorite position in which to receive massage. I had checked in advance with Joe via e-mail about his safety procedures, and they're sound. He was able to leave the window open (at my request) during my massages, and he had an air purifier going also. He wore a mask for the entire duration of the intakes, the massages, and the check-outs. The music was soft, not too loud or intrusive, and it provided a lovely background noise. The lighting was perfect for me, I prefer the lighting to be slightly darker in the massage room since it's more relaxing for me that way. Joe checked in about the level of pressure, and he was very open and responsive to my feedback - which he strongly encouraged me to give - about level of pressure, position of my body and head on the table, preference for bolstering, any areas to avoid or go lightly on, type of oil used, and anything else that made the massage experience truly special. I felt that Joe went above and beyond to make sure that I felt cared for and attended to. Usually when I review a massage therapist here on yelp, I explain that I graduated from Port Townsend School of Massage in 2016 - however, I have never practiced massage professionally, since my life ended up going in a different direction at that time. So, I know a bit more about massage therapy than someone who doesn't have this particular educational background. I enjoyed my massages with Massage Reimagined Magnolia, I would receive massage from Joe again, and I would highly recommend this business to anyone who wants a truly unique and special massage experience.

I booked a 50 min massage. Upon arriving, I was greeted by name, got a fancy little aroma towel and was shown my changing area. Well design and crafted, the changing room by itself was pure luxury. After changing into my robe and slippers, I was led to a foot salt soak where I was able to choose from a menu of add ons to my massage. I definitely recommend the aroma therapy. You receive a curated experience of what smells you find that you find love. Then there was the massage itself. I have quite a few massages over my lifetime and this one was the absolute best (give Kirsten a raise please, she's the best!). Overall, it was awesome and I can't wait for my wife to go. I know I am going to come back anytime I need that luxury / relaxation life.

We were told they were should never have gotten that room in the first place.. then I check into my room and the privacy curtains are nonexistent. Front desk staff not very friendly or helpful. We were looking forward to a nice hotel after a week of hiking, but disappointed in this experience.
