On the way in I was told 30 mins chair massage would be $35. Upon arrival I saw the price list for a chair massage offers 20 mins for $30 so I asked again to be sure.. I was then told 30 mins would be $40 which is not bad so I went with it. Upon paying I was told $45. I was hesitant to tip my usual $10 for these quick massages but I did it anyways. The shoulder massage was good but the inconsistency with pricing left me disappointed. I thought I found a place I could trust. I didn't argue the price and I wouldn't have mind if that was communicated in the beginning. They lost a returning customer and another client, because I intended for my husband to pay them a visit right after work.

It is really my fault for not booking ahead of the time but I just had an urge to cut my hair off today so I started my good ole Yelp search. I thought Belle Chasse area might be easier to get an appt than in CBD Area and I ran into Trendy Salon page. Called in and bam, got an appointment for 30 minutes later. It is located in a strip mall area so there are plenty of parking available. The owner told me there are two other girls working at the location but it was only herself today. She was so nice - I mean I feel like I got a hair cut from a long lost sister or something. She was very professional and communicative. As someone mentioned, she did exactly what I wanted. I usually walk out of a salon disappointed 90% of the time but today was not the case. The cut was $35 excluding tip which is like half of CBD price.
