I HATE leaving bad reviews but I'M ABSOLUTELY PISSED, STEAMED & IRATE!!!! STUPID B!TCH can't cut hair!!! SO UPSET & CRYING...Can't even look at myself in the mirror!!! Like a lot of people on here, the stylist Marcella did NOT follow my clear directions!!: NEEDED a Faded/Blended cut from a 2 at the base to a 4 on top. BLENDED!!! NOT HARD!! SIMPLE HAIRCUT!!! I mentioned that MULTIPLE times to Marcella because I am a new client and NEEDED her to understand EXACTLY EXACTLY what I need. I EVER SHOWED HER A FUKIN PICTURE FROM MULTIPLE ANGLES OF EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. My hair is MY IDENTITY!!! Gave me a FUKCING butch MMA grunt military cut. NOOOOO!!! I've had other stylists go a little longer just in case and then we can ALWAYS take more off. I don't want to feel like a fukcing jock ass male. Unfortunately, she was in a rush like who gives fukc about this degenerate I have a more important client next getting a more expensive style so f the cheap ass for under $50. She cut a single length on the sides that was too short and did not blend with the top. NOOOOO!!!! It was my mom's birthday too so she fukced that up as well!!! Perhaps the problem is that this studio books appointments in too short of blocks which doesn't leave time for quality and attention. DON'T FUGK WITH MY HAIR IF YOU'RE GOING TO RUSH!!! I am paying OUTSTANDING money for a QUALITY haircut. Do I have to physically fight your next client just to ensure I get the necessary time and day for a good haircut?!?!? It absolutely should not come to that. I'M SO PISSED!! In addition to demanding my money back and filing a dispute on my charges, I am at the precipice of filing a freakin lawsuit for emotional distress. I am dealing with a very recent onset hearing issue and have a VERY IMPORTANT engagement coming up where I want and demand to look FANTASTIC. Now, I feel like complete shit! No way should this be acceptable, ESPECIALLY at a boutique EXPENSIVE hair salon where QUALITY IS DEMANDED!!! The studio policy clearly had her rushed to attend to the next client who was probably more important because she had a more expensive hair job with cut, color, and otherwise. I just had a simple short haircut that should have been easily handled if she had followed my directions but she either didn't care or was otherwise too inattentive to give me the cut that I needed. I had to go back to have somebody else blend it in and was forced to have it cut shorter to blend in the top. Just FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! If the stylist has a concern or unsure, please communicate!!!! This is especially true for new clients like myself. SOOOO PISSED because I thought that if I paid a lot for a supposedly prestigious hair salon, I would get top notch service that I paid for but sadly no. In addition to losing myself as a repeat customer, you lost the business of my family and friends. We are all dealing with a LOT of Stress in our lives. We should be able to go to a hair salon and RELAX!!! Nobody should have to be on pins and needles praying and hoping that they get the exact cut that they describe and showed when paying near top dollar. I pray that the studio takes immediate action to ensure that this never happens to another client. read more

Marcella did my IBE extensions, and I absolutely love them. I was worried about getting them done, but they are wonderful. I've had no issues whatsoever, they're lightweight, I do not have trouble sleeping in them , i can do my own hair with no issues. highly recommend!! I LOVE my hair now. I'm leaving on vacation and I'm very upset about how my hair turned out. When I questioned her she said that I didn't get highlights that's why it's like that. They pull my hair so much that i left there crying. They blamed on my hair that is too thick.

Just because it's expensive doesn't mean you'll get the results you want or quality service. Revisited this salon as i was desperate for guidance on long, thick, curly, naturally blonde hair, info i shared with the staff during booking. I communicated to the stylist what i wanted, showed pictures (nothing crazy, shaping up my current cut/layers, defining my highlights). Was told "yes, we can do that, your hair can do that". I cannot express the level of disappointment when after $220 charged, my hair has a green tint and i had to ASK if she was going to trim/shape my cut; even tho i booked full highlights and cut. When i shared my concerns, said my expectations were not met, i was told "I think it looks good" and then told to use more product that turns my hair green! I explicitly told the stylist how my hair absorbs anti-brass treatments, said not to use ashy/purple. Guess what color the toner was? Purple. Shocking outcome when i already spoke the ending!! Just one example of being dismissed as a client during this visit. Overall, I felt like i was not wanted in the chair during my entire appointment. My expressly communicated goals were dismissed, my hair needs correction and i am beyond upset with my hair's appearance. My birthday will now be spent researching working to gently remove green toner tint because a public appearance is not a viable option. HBD to me I guess!! If you trust your stylist at this salon, lucky you! If you hoped (like i did) of finding true guidance on looking your best, how to make what you have work for you... keep searching. Love this place, well mainly because Alex is the best hair dresser there! She's a blonde perfectionist! I've been getting my hair done by her for more than a year now! I refuse to go to anybody else but her. She's very detailed and listens to what you want done and always tries her best to get exactly what you asked. She's super sweet also and I'm always so excited to get my hair done now. Alex is the best!!! I will never go to anyone else. I had gotten a terrible cut (very uneven layers, a 'chopped up cut' that looked like a child had cut my hair), at another salon and was sure no one would be able to fix it. Alex was very honest with me and told me it would probably take a few haircuts to fix the cut. It actually took three cuts but even after the first haircut by Alex, I was able to style my hair so the mistakes made by the other stylist were much less noticeable. Alex has now cut my hair three times and it looks great. She is a precision haircutter, who listens to what you want, gives you honest answers and will give you, probably the best haircut or color you will ever get! She is amazing!!! She's also one of the nicest person I have met. Everyone at Salon Bliss from the owner to the receptionist to the shampoo girl are also nice and welcoming. Went to Lorena twice. I'm what they call dishwater blonde and lighten to a 10 level within minutes of being bleached. Yay for me, right? Well, when Lorena is working on multiple people during your time and leave you under the heat too long, my head and hair started burning. Another stylist had to save me as Lorena was busy with my daughter (adult age) at the sink. Lorena told the other stylist - oh - I just checked her and she was fine. Then said I must have something on my hair that caused it to burn. The only thing I had in my hair would be remnants of Pureology Shampoo and Conditioner from the night before. Also note, I was told it is normal when bleaching for your hair to feel like straw and clump together. And. . .I was told that it I probably felt sleepy and leaned my head against the heat. Either way, no accountability for the extra crispy head and very white burned hair. They gave me a couple hair treatments that day, but didn't help. I also asked for 1/2 inch hair cut - she ended up cutting at least 3 inches off. My daughter was shocked when she saw me. Also note that during the haircut she wasn't happy with my hair color and brought me back to the sink for a 5th toner that she said I needed. She took some $ off, but when I was planning on a $30 toner when arriving and paying over $200 (after she took $200 off). . .wasn't worth it. Communication is poor. Quality was poor. Cost was too high for burning my head/hair. Customer Service was lacking and disrespectful. Also after toner #4, I came back to the chair and someone else was sitting there getting color. I was told to sit in another chair. Not a good experience. read more

So after waiting 3-4 days for my appointments I came in with my friend today and we each wanted a full set. First of all the receptionist told us incorrect prices.. which come to find out the nails START at $50 because a manicure is mandatory with a full set which is ridiculous. I asked for a pink to white ombré and this is how it turned out... one hand is a little better than the other but not 1 of the nails look the same. It's so patchy, uneven lengths, and I'm all cut up around some nails. My nail tech was Mary Grace and she was rude after I got upset and showed her my nails after washing them. Her response was well I can soak them off and you can go. That's not how you should "fix" a situation. I'm sooo beyond unsatisfied as this is supposed to be a nice, upscale salon. How can anyone with 2 eyes think this looks good? For crazy expensive prices, the least I'd expect is quality work. I'd give this negative stars if I could and I will never come back!! read more

My stylist was very sweet but didn't listen AT ALL to what I wanted. I showed her an Insta picture of HER OWN WORK on someone else and said that I want that same "white blonde, platinum, super bright, super icy, make-it-pop bright blonde". The reason I emphasized so much is because I've been trying to get that white, icy blonde for over a year and every time, every salon just gives me an ashy beige. I walk out looking not much different than when I walked in. After leaving Salon Bliss, I got home and once again my husband said "I thought you were getting your hair lightened?" and my coworkers also agree that I my hair looks nothing like how I wanted it. My mom didn't even realize I had it done. After spending $130 on highlights for my very fine, thin hair I could just cry. I'm so disappointed. The stylist next to mine tried saying that the lighting in the salon makes it look darker than it is. I wanted to believe her so bad so I put on a happy face. My stylist again, was sweet and spent a lot of time on me so I didn't want to make her feel bad. That was a mistake though because this could have been a learning experience for her had I said something. I also said I just wanted a trim and no style was necessary because I was just going home and she gave me a full blown style anyway. So I was probably charged for that too. Guess I can't complain if I didn't stop her but still - She wasn't listening to me. I asked her if I was a good candidate for extensions and she said she'd ask the extension specialist for me and she never did. She said she'd find out what formula was used in the Insta pic so we could recreate the look and she didn't. I got ashy beige again! Oh! And you can't leave a tip with a credit card?! I had to go pull from my checking account from the ATM in the back of the salon. So that was $40 cash I was not planning on spending from my checking account. So my overall experience was a huge let down and waste of time and money. I have a mousy, generic, warm tone blonde that I just despise. The search continues for someone who knows how to do white blonde like their social media claims. Another $170 total right out the window and nothing to show for it. I'm so sad! read more
