I was in contact with them on any changes and everything was set for 9:00 on Tuesday morning. Truck came in on a Monday afternoon and arrived at 9:00 Tuesday. But no Junk Hunks. I received a message that they would be there between 11 and 12:45. And I told them we needed to start and to call me before coming to see if we still needed them. We of course my son unloaded the whole truck by himself. I believe I should have received an apology and my deposit back. Two days in a row they no showed and no called...I called to find out what the heck was happening and "the driver got into an accident", very coincidental they both got into accidents and pushed us to the next day?? Then on day #3 the movers showed up many hours earlier than agreed and strong armed my wife into paying on the spot to avoid being pressed for the position they put us in. All in all after reading the other terrible experiences, we have not been put in as horrible of a position as others they have done this to. We had to pay our apartment complex extensive fees for late move out and All My Sons was gracious to only give $100 off their $600+ cost. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY REGARDLESS OF BRANCH/CITY/STATE

My husband and I are in the process of selling our home, and it was time for my elderly parents to transition to a more manageable 55+ community. On moving day, it was raining, and the movers chose to park in our yard. They ended up getting stuck for over three hours, completely tearing up the side yard of a property we are selling in just a few weeks. Now we're left to pay out of pocket to repair the damage they caused. But that wasn't even the worst part. When the truck finally arrived at my parents' new place, the movers refused to release their belongings unless they paid three times the originally quoted price. My parents are on a fixed income and had budgeted carefully for this move. They were blindsided. My mother was in tears, and my father looked utterly defeated. We contacted a man named Travis, who claimed to be the owner (if that's true shame on him). He told us if we didn't pay the inflated amount, he would have the movers return everything to our old house. He claimed they don't provide quotes--even though their website prominently advertises FREE QUOTES. He insisted the cost increase was "simple math," but even after "removing" the three hours stuck in our yard, the price still made no sense. To make matters worse, my mother needed access to her oxygen tank which they did take off the truck but didn't provide her tubing to hook it up, which was still on the truck. She relies on oxygen full time and withholding that was not just unethical--it was dangerous. Out of desperation, my parents paid just to get their things and have some peace. The only positive part of this experience was the crew of young movers themselves, who were kind and respectful. Unfortunately, their professionalism doesn't make up for the company's blatant lack of empathy or ethics. We had originally booked All My Sons for our upcoming move, but that has now been canceled. I wouldn't trust this company with a box of towels, let alone a loved one's personal belongings. Please don't let your family go through this. The emotional and financial stress they caused us was overwhelming, and I hope this review spares someone else from going through the same.

Everything him and his crew moved for me made it in perfect condition with no dings to the walls or doors. I also really liked that when we made it to my new place, we went through the condo and gave each room a name. So as the crew brought boxes and furniture in, I simply had to tell them which room to put it in. They even helped me assemble the furniture and centered everything. Which, I'm a stickler for, so the centering was much appreciated. High quality service, well thought out process, and reasonably priced.

I hired Ted and his crew to unload a 22-foot rental truck in the Charlotte area. On move day, as I had requested, Ted texted me 30 minutes in advance that he was en route. Ted and his 2 helpers, Vlad and Jeremy, showed up on time and started work as soon as I parked and opened the door of the truck. Ted brought all the required equipment (dollies, carts and a handtruck + straps for the mattress) and even provided a battery-operated fan for me to use while I waited on the back of the truck (to keep an eye on all of the stuff), where temperatures in the summer can exceed 100 degrees. That fan kept me cool throughout the move. Ted and his helpers worked very hard for 4 hours to get all of the items into the elevator and up into the apartment. They honored my requests and never once complained about any aspect of the job, including an additional 150-foot walk across the parking garage no one knew about. Everyone was professional, friendly, and very easy to work with. I am happy to report that all items made it safely into the apartment. Ted, Vlad and Jeremy made sure to unwrap all of the items, place them where requested, and to put all of the boxes in the specific room marked on each box. They also re-assembled a table and removed all of the tape from the moving blankets. It was a stress-free experience from start to finish. If you're in the Charlotte area and looking for professional, affordable movers with a great attitude and work ethic, don't hesitate to call Ted. Move was very quick- however had some major issues with them- first the handling of our precious items like my daughter's bed and my bed - they didn't bother to wrap either one of them- instead seen them putting them on the floor and handling them very rough. Later found out they broke my Leggett and Platt platform for our adjustable bed- it was filthy and can not adjust flat anymore. When bringing this issue up to Brian the manager/owner of this company he denied that his men did anything wrong at all!! Then he started to just plain ignore any phone calls regarding this issue at all!!!! I have had a professional bed repair man for the manufacturer come out and confirm it was broken and given him estimates of how much it will cost to fix it - NO RESPONSE!!! Avoid at all costs!!!
