I'm reading Yelp reviews and Reddit comments from all across the country wondering how we didnt see this before they caused us major headaches. All My Sons just screwed my family over in Charlotte last week in a pre planned move to a different floor in the same apartment complex. Two days in a row they no showed and no called...I called to find out what the heck was happening and "the driver got into an accident", very coincidental they both got into accidents and pushed us to the next day?? Then on day #3 the movers showed up many hours earlier than agreed and strong armed my wife into paying on the spot to avoid being pressed for the position they put us in. All in all after reading the other terrible experiences, we have not been put in as horrible of a position as others they have done this to. We had to pay our apartment complex extensive fees for late move out and All My Sons was gracious to only give $100 off their $600+ cost. Disgraceful Experience - Stay Away! I am absolutely appalled at how this company operates. The way the owner and corporate office treated my elderly parents was both dishonest and heartless. My husband and I are in the process of selling our home, and it was time for my elderly parents to transition to a more manageable 55+ community. On moving day, it was raining, and the movers chose to park in our yard. They ended up getting stuck for over three hours, completely tearing up the side yard of a property we are selling in just a few weeks. Now we're left to pay out of pocket to repair the damage they caused. But that wasn't even the worst part. When the truck finally arrived at my parents' new place, the movers refused to release their belongings unless they paid three times the originally quoted price. My parents are on a fixed income and had budgeted carefully for this move. They were blindsided. My mother was in tears, and my father looked utterly defeated. We contacted a man named Travis, who claimed to be the owner (if that's true shame on him). He told us if we didn't pay the inflated amount, he would have the movers return everything to our old house. He claimed they don't provide quotes--even though their website prominently advertises FREE QUOTES. He insisted the cost increase was "simple math," but even after "removing" the three hours stuck in our yard, the price still made no sense. To make matters worse, my mother needed access to her oxygen tank which they did take off the truck but didn't provide her tubing to hook it up, which was still on the truck. She relies on oxygen full time and withholding that was not just unethical--it was dangerous. Out of desperation, my parents paid just to get their things and have some peace. The only positive part of this experience was the crew of young movers themselves, who were kind and respectful. Unfortunately, their professionalism doesn't make up for the company's blatant lack of empathy or ethics. We had originally booked All My Sons for our upcoming move, but that has now been canceled. I wouldn't trust this company with a box of towels, let alone a loved one's personal belongings. Please don't let your family go through this. Not sure where to even begin... it was a simple move from old to new house. The only semi complex aspect was exchanging the old fridge for new fridge to the new house. After getting cancelled 10min before the arrival date due to hurricane Ian (understandable), they moved the date from a Friday to a Monday. On Monday the 4 man team showed up with just 3 guys (and we are paying by the hour). Within an hour of work 1 of the 3 guys quits. So we are now paying an hourly rate for 2 guys to move a house vs 4. During the move multiple items were broken / shattered and my floor scratched up -- they finished in 12 hours. I paid $2600 vs the $1500 quote. (Once they get everything in the truck and to the new house they ask for payment before they unload. Feels coercive if you ask me). I paid the $2600 only to find out that not only did they not bring the fridge, they didn't bring +10 items in the old house. They claimed the fridge didn't fit out of the door, yet I measured it with them and they confirmed it would fit (by +6"). The next day (now Tuesday), we call and the ops manager (Shane) who claimed they would make it right and come get the fridge and other items that were left the next day for free. Instead we opted for the following Monday since we would have work off, since we already used PTO for Monday and had the following Monday off for Columbus Day. It's now the following Monday and the team comes, claiming that they would require payment since there were more items. Upon telling the manager that these items were from the original move that were left, he said it did not matter and they weren't going to work for free. After arguing that these items were left by his team and he needed to finish the job, he hung up on me and didn't take me call when I called back. Shane had his team leave and I am stuck with a handful of items that I am now expected to move prior to listing this house. After talking with corporate they emphasized that there is nothing they can do for me. They do not have control of their branches and any rectification would have to come through the Charlotte Branch. This seams to be a company that does not care about the customer. They hold your things in the truck prior to taking payment, they haphazardly move fragile things during the move, they blatantly lie about aspects of the move (saying the fridge doesn't fit), and they leave things in the house with little regard. Making matters worse, when these issues come up, they are unwilling to make it right. I paid $2600 ($1100 over quote), and I just want the job to be finished. Please use my story as a testament to the work you will find here, and save yourself the hassle. There are plenty of other moving companies in Charlotte, so keep these guys on the bottom of the list. read more

I don't even know where to begin! I booked my move 3 weeks in advance and paid $100 deposit. The day of my move I get a call at 8:30 am which I thought was to let me know they were on the way. Nope! it was Chuck telling me they could not do my move because they didn't have enough crews. Mind you we packed everything and had it ready to go and had to be moved that day. Who over books and makes you pay a deposit then doesn't show up! This company should not be open. No referrals to someone else no remorse. Just a crappy attitude and poor customer service! I would never consider using this company. I called for a quote on my move and the operator was very pushy about making a deposit even before she gave me all of the quote details. She asked to put a card on file and I told her I was not ready to pay a deposit/make a commitment as I was waiting on a few other quotes. I understand a move cannot be held or reserved until a deposit is made, but the pushy sales tactic was unnecessary. Since my initial inquiry, All My Sons has contacted me via text and phone call no less than 6 times, still trying to get me to hire them. I finally had to block the numbers. 10/10 would NOT recommend simply based on this bad interaction. read more

I've waited awhile to post this review so that I could be more objective. I want to give you the pros and cons, so you can make an informed decision. PROS: staff members in the office and at my house were generally friendly, helpful and responsive. Most of the actual movers were hardworking. Someone came to my house to do a free estimate of charges and also returned the week before our move to re-assess how many boxes I had packed on my own, theoretically to adjust my price. CONS: (1) They sent someone to pack my belongings who apparently had NO IDEA what he was doing and was, quite possibly high or hung over, which I did not realize until it was much too late. I had to direct him to wrap bathroom trays so that things did not spill out of them into boxes because he was simply dropping trays of jewelry, toothbrushing supplies, hair accessories etc... down into a box. (2) The people who packed my belongings on the first day did not finish the job. When a different crew (except for the supervisor) came to actually move us the next day, many things were packed haphazardly in a rush to get the truck loaded. What we paid for packing was ridiculous for the quality we received. (3) The estimator assured me that I had packed enough boxes to drop our total by at least $1000. When it came time to pay, I had to argue on the phone with someone in the office to receive that adjustment because the estimator never responded to my requests for his reassessment in writing. (4) We unpacked boxes that were smashed, thrown together with random items, crushed during loading of the truck. (5) Several pieces of furniture had major gouges. (6)A desk had been "wrapped" with plastic wrap to hold items on its shelves instead of them being packed in a box. When they set the box down and unwrapped it, the books and notepads went everywhere. (7) My husband's shoes had been dropped in a box with toothpaste and other loose items. (8) Our TVs, which had been carefully packed by AV guys were turned around and around during the moving process with no regard for the "this end up" directions written on them. After such a positive initial impression, I was deeply disappointed with the actual results of our move. Moving is hard. The guys who loaded and unloaded our belongings were friendly and they worked hard. I just wish they had worked a little more carefully with our belongings. I also recommend that you pay close attention to the folks who pack your belongings. The 4 packers separated into different rooms, and I was there alone. It was next to impossible to keep up with what was going on everywhere, but I believe that should also fall under the responsibility of the team supervisor. I can't say that I would use All My Sons again. And I only started taking photos after I realized the extent of problems. There were many other boxes packed poorly and other furniture with damage. BEWARE!!!! - DO NOT USE - MOVERS ARE THIEVES! I hired them to move my things 6/4/2022. After they supposedly brought all my things inside and as I was putting my office back together I noticed I was missing equipment that I had recently purchased for over $2300 about 7 months prior. I immediately called the driver and of course no answer. I called the local office first the next morning to explain the movers did not bring in all my office equipment. The local office gave me the run around. After going back and forth with their corporate office and filing a claim, I was first offered $120 then they came back and made me their maximum offer of $450. I was told they would not replace anything and the amount they offered was an industry standard. Take my loss and hard lesson learned - and look for a more reputable and honest company. I am telling everyone that I hear is looking for movers, my experience and strongly suggesting they look for another company. I cannot say it enough - DO NOT USE (All My Sons Moving & Storage Company)!!!!! Spend your money with another company that's not going to rip you off and you put your trust into dishonest guys. read more

Horrible experience they called me the day of my move and canceled , they stated staff called out and since my fare was the lowest they canceled my move - I stated I have no family or extra help in Charlotte and I need someone to move my king bed and couch , -- after that they said it was a business decision and hung up , I never had anyone be so heartless and I have an infant it's just me my kid and my lady in a new city ,,, I will never use this company again I called prime movers they fit me in last minute and staff was friendly and helpful all my sons are shit and I really wanted to hit the dispatch guy in the face for being so indifferent all because I was not paying big money no sense of accommodation or anything ... read more

Worst moving experience of my life. Would not recommend this company for anything. I would not let Ruth in my house again. She quoted a price that she said was "worse case scenario". That turned out to be the first of many lies to come. I paid a $1,000 deposit. They picked up my furniture and told me I owed them $3,700 before the furniture would be delivered at which time there would be an additional drop off fee. My original bid was $4,200. This is all part of the their GAME. The upload was scheduled for 6 hours, they took 12 hours. The off load was scheduled 4 hours, they took 7 hours. Their plan was to charge me for their pathetically slow crew. I experienced damaged, lost and stolen items for which they offered me $93 as a settlement. Suggest you book your move with ANYONE else. read more

Scheduled a move on Nov. 10th. Movers never showed up. Was told some employees didn't show up and they would arrive later on the day, they never did. Talked to 5 different people. Croody was so rude and each phone call was terrible customer service with no help. Once they finally wanted to come move us, the next day, it took them 6 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment...with no boxes and only a limited amount of furniture, with 3 guys. Absolutely ridiculous, we will never use them again. read more

I really wanted this to be a good experience. The only reason I'm giving this any stars is because the guys who moved us were really great - and because I don't think can give zero stars. The movers were super nice and helpful - they really gave 5 star service which is what sucks about the whole thing. However, the sales team/admin team made this a one-star experience. When I first called and explained what we needed, Tyler told me it would probably be a 3-hour job with 3 guys. (He kept insisting there was no minimum time). The first time I talked to him, I felt really pressured into using their services. He was definitely using the "act now to get this deal!" sales tactic. I felt "meh" but thought whatever - probably a younger guy, out of college, first job, I get it. Also, I had called a couple of other companies that quoted me $600-$700 so I was choosing what I thought was the most economical option. It turned out to be a SIX HOUR MOVE. It cost almost $900 when all was said and done. $900! I almost died. I'm a teacher. I usually don't have $9 laying around, much less $900. And the movers actually did not lollygag - they worked their butts off. Also, I had previously explained to Tyler exactly how much stuff we had, the size of the house, etc. He still quoted me three hours. So, when the guys finished the move and told me how much it cost - and I had partially recovered from my minor heart attack - they had to take payment over the phone with Tyler. It was one guy's first day and he was learning the ropes. Tyler was really rude and crappy to him on the phone. I don't think he realized that I could hear him. I feel like that makes me even more angry about the whole thing. So anyway, I pay the $900 moving bill which is twice what I was quoted. I called later that night to talk to Tyler and was sent to someone else (Ben). Anyway, Ben made sure to let me know they actually have no idea how long a move will take! They only quote 3-hours because that's the minimum time. (But, I thought you said previously there was no minimum?) However, he let me know that he "had the numbers in front of him" for other moving companies and I definitely saved money because they charged by the hour unlike other companies. (Duh - I used your company because you charged by the hour and said it would take 3 hours!) So - I just want to say it louder for people in the back: the sales rep at All My Sons told me they don't know how long any move will take. Y'all - I want to make it my life's work to make sure everyone in Charlotte knows how shady their sales team is. It's clear they get paid for their leads/bookings. They give you unrealistic quotes so you'll hire them and their sales guys (Tyler and Ben at least) are sales guy bullies who treat people poorly. I will never use them again and make sure none of my friends and family do either. read more

I normally do not comment and really give people the benefit of the doubt but after three weeks of failing to get my fob from my apt complex returned after a move (the movers took it with them) I am at wits end. Many of my items were broken from the move and it will take over 30 days to "e. I do not recommend ever using All My Sons. I will never use them again. Update: It took me 3 months to get my fob returned not due to the manager it was someone on loan there. Everyone was rude and the manager hung up on me on one of my calls. I still have not heard back about the claim I put in about my broken items - it's been 3 months and it was supposed to take 30 days. NEVER, NEVER use them!! read more

This would be negative stars if I could. We lost our mattress AND bed frame in the move (I have the receipt of our $5,270 purchase). All My Sons insurance sold me on a $20,000 liability insurance that I paid extra for, and told me they would completely replace anything that got damaged. Mind you, Neither I nor my wife have a bed to sleep on now... Their claims take at minimum 30 days. 30 days! 35 days later, they're offering me $4.00 a pound for our bed. ($500? that won't get me another $5000 bed). They've voided the warranty on my bed because of how they moved it, and they won't repair it. They also broke a glass side table, put 4+ holes in our walls, and scuffed up our rented house before the move. I feel utterly cheated by the sales department, AllMySons, the claims, their sales pitch. This experience has been utter hell. I, under no circumstances, would EVER recommend using them again. They lie to get you into a contract, and that contract apparently doesn't have to be held. Instead of their "full value replacement" they promised me, it's apparently okay because they can't find someone to repair it, to just fall back to $4.00/lb. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. They did the job, slowly. Took their precious time to move taking cell phone breaks. They sent three guys and only two of them did most of the work slowly. Oh and don't use them if you want money stolen from you. I had left some cash in my dresser (I know I'm not supposed leave cash in there but I forgot to take it out before they got there.) Well it went missing. And I know it was them that took it because when I went the check on that drawer when it first got to the new house, the drawer wouldn't open because the stuff inside it had shifted and kept the drawer locked in place. I went downstairs to finish paper work with the driver. So the other two guys went upstairs to install the mirror on it. When i went back upstairs to check on it. The drawer opened up just fine and the cash in there was missing. At least $300-$500 maybe even more was missing. Don't know the exact count. And when I confronted them about it they swore up and down they didn't take it but by that time those two guys were already back in the truck hiding what they had took. I called and told the company what happened and they said they would look into it and call me back. I've never received a phone call back from them at all and it's been 6 weeks already. I took it as my lost bc I shouldnt have left it in there. Also they dented up the walls and wood floors at my brand new built house. These thieves looked like they could've been in the Home Alone movies. I would never refer them to anyone and would never use them again. Someone recently asked me about a moving company and said they were looking at All my Sons. I told them what happened to me so they won't be using them either. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT STUFF MISSING AND YOUR PROPERTY DAMAGED. They will milk the hours and also tried to charge me for the 30 minutes that they took for lunch break. The three gentlemen that moved us from SC to FL did an awesome job! They worked as a true team - Amir, Cordarius and George. They are very strong, extremely polite, and efficient. Ask for them! The only reason I couldn't give the company a 5 star rating, is because I had booked them to pack the contents of the house. The morning of the pack, one of the owners called and said they couldn't because of employee issues. (I get that, but they should always have a backup plan.) BUT, they did bring me boxes right away, and with the neighbors help, we got the job done. Kudos to the hard working team! read more

100% straight trash moving company! Two weak and lethargic movers showed up late and broke a bunch of stuff. They scratched a solid oak table beyond belief and dropped a double stack toolbox completely destroying it. I had to help them lift every single large item that I had....I got a whopping $70 from the claim...Calling the was the single worst mistake I've ever made during all the moves I've been through. read more

Absolutely avoid this company!!! The first time I used them in 2020, they chipped my bar and were extremely slow. I thought maybe that was an anomaly. Nope. Tried them again last week with worse results. The drivers sat outside for 2 hours trying to figure out how to get into the service elevator area. When I asked about a credit for 2 hours as I was stuck waiting for them, management refused and only gave me one hour credit which is ridiculous. They said it wasn't their fault even though I asked at the time if they needed directions. I was assured that they didn't. And it sure as hell wasn't my fault!! And they tried to charge me $100 for packing materials, of which I used none. At least I got that taken care of. I will never use this company again and you shouldn't either! This is the second time we've used All my sons. This time was even better than the last. Amir & Chris were so pleasant, professional and respectful of the house and all the belongings. They had the added stress of moving my brother-in-law who, throughout the move was still packing!!! Chris & Amir wrapped furniture with shrink wrap AND moving blankets. The whole time they hustled and worked hard. They even moved some other further within the house for us as well. We were so appreciative of them. The office stayed in touch prior to the move, during the move and after the move to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you! read more

I had high hopes for this moving company but just know if anything goes wrong in your move they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have called multiple times to discuss how my move was handled and how many things were broken. The supposed owner is an absolute jerk. He doesn't care about his customer's belongings or their experience. He will laugh at you on the phone and call you names. I have never experienced this kind of disrespect. From other reviews it's apparent this sort of thing happens often. What an embarrassment for a company. Treat your customers with more respect and own up to the damage that you caused. Don't smash peoples furniture and expect them to not be upset. This moving company is absolute terrible and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY, STAY AWAY! Absolutely awful experience and horrendous customer service if I would even call it that. The moving crew showed up late the day of our move short staffed (including one who wore flip flops the entire day and talked on his Bluetooth complaining about having to work while just standing in the truck). They did not bring the proper moving equipment and were incredibly unprofessional. They were completely careless throughout the move, did not wrap any furniture nor secure it in the truck. To the surprise of absolutely no one, their recklessness led to thousands of dollars of damage to multiple pieces of our furniture and to our home. They also attempted to hide broken pieces of furniture before I could uncover the damage. After over a month of not returning any of my messages, All My Sons responded only to refuse to offer any reimbursement for services charged or even repair certain items they clearly damaged. Every single employee at the local office and in the claims department is incompetent, incredibly rude and uncooperative. I am amazed they are still in business. The single worst experience I've ever had with amy company in my entire life. The workers showed up late, were caught not working multiple times (to which we of course communicated) and the move had to go to the next day due to their laziness. We were then charged an additional $1400 above the original quote upon arrival on the second day. When we did not feel comfortable paying more money for their laziness, a supervisor named Lawrence became aggressively rude and threatened to hold our belongings "hostage" if we did not sign a new contract for more money on the spot. In hindsight, we probably could have called the police... I think? I'm not really sure... but now we are trying to evaluate our options and will most likely end up in small claims court. For my wife and I, we are more offended by the disrespect shown and how we were spoken to in addition to threatening us. I hired All My Sons Moving to move my belongings in August 2018. Here are my issues: 1. All my beds had mattress protectors on them, I do not know why additional ones were put on for which I as charged. 2. It took them an hour to get from the house I was moving out of to the house I was moving into. It is 20 minutes away. They said they were stopping to get food, and I was charged for an hour. 3. While they were packing they all took a break for about 40 minutes and were just sitting in the truck. There were 4 movers. If two of them were still moving things while the other two took a break, and then swapped, that would be one thing. But there was no movement for 40 minutes for which I was charged. 4. I tried emailing the person I dealt with for the move to get a detailed invoice. After 3 weeks of emails and no response I called the company, and that person was no longer working there. I understand people change jobs, but their email should be forwarded to whomever is taking their place in the company. 5. I finally received a detailed invoice October 19, and responded with my above concerns on October 24, and got a my last email from them on November 9: - Regarding the additional mattress covers: " Even though your mattresses had covers on them,we require them to be protected from being soiled by using plastic mattress bags." I was told when I made my deposit that if there were mattress protectors on the mattresses, no additional protection aka cost, would be needed. So a word to the wise, there will be a charge for mattresses. - I was told I would only be reimbursed for 30 min. for the hour it took them to travel from one house to the next and no response as to why there was 40 minutes of no one moving anything. I HAVE YET TO SEE THE REFUND. That was my experience, take from it what you will. read more

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. What was supposed to be a simple 2 1/2 hour move time turned in to 12 hours. Final price was 700 dollars over what I was quoted. They didn't bring anything to wrap furniture, and most of it was damaged. They didn't even bring tape. I had everything packed so they did not have to do that. Didn't even set the beds back up. They had no sense of what to do, didn't know how to load and I load. The crew chief said it was his first day, obviously he didn't know what to do. When I contacted the company the next day, they didn't respond. I have contacted them multiple times, with no response. That was 3 months ago. Still no response to email or messages. This is my first time taking the time to write a review but I would not recommend All My Sons to anyone. They have a great sales and marketing experience, but after that, their delivery is very disappointing. They have poor training of their staff and poor management and follow-through. Here are some examples: -Quoted us for 1x truck but it turned out to be 2 full trucks -Moving crew did not know how to pack: Packed plants with dishes and shampoo/shaving cream with photo albums. Not joking -Moving crew ate fast food and left their wrappers and cups all over the house -2x different team members offered to be paid under the table with loading and driving the 2nd truck I needed and told me not to tell their managers. -I asked about broken items and their management team told me they would send me a form. They never did. This was not worth the money and they deserve this bad review. If they want to stay in business, they will need to improve their training and operate with more integrity. read more

They were a nightmare! Three men and they quit halfway. Never filled the truck even halfway full. The truck did not have a ramp. They dropped both my brand new washer and dryer. They are both full of dents, scratches and had to be repaired. They looked at my daughter and walked on. They put a hole in the ceiling, scratched numerous baseboards and walls. Took some siding off of the garage. They also scratced my hardwood floors of a brand new house. They didn't even bring in all of the furniture, left it in the garage. One of the men used the toilet and clogged it. It had to get repaired. Made lots of ugly comments about the company and such. I turned in my damages and got a little over a hundred dollars for property damage to furniture items. Company were not professional or personable. It was and still is heartbreaking. No respect from local company in Greensboro, NC to corporate. There is so much more but I hope that you read this and move on. You will be glad you did. I was new here and did not read the reviews. I even sent them a letter and said how would you react if this was yourself, mother, etc. Their response.... NOTHING read more

Worst moving experience ever. They broke several pieces of furniture and even broke our china cabinet twice. They broke one of the glass shelves during the move and after cleaning the glass out before bringing it in the house they broke the entire glass door. A broken dresser, chipped wood on bedroom furniture, scarred and dented wood stairs in home. I expected more for the $2,000 they charged. Don't be fooled by the initial customer service. I received numerous calls prior to the move and during the move but once they received payment customer service ended and I wasn't contacted by anyone regarding the damage that was done. I would definitely NOT use them again and WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone! read more

We called and got an estimate to move some furniture from one home to another home that is approximately 10 miles down the road. The estimate was for approximately 3 hours including travel time based on the little amount we needed to move. The furniture was no more than 10 pieces, and two dozen boxes that were already carried down and placed in the garage to help make it easier on the movers to just load up and roll out. It took the movers over 8 hours and that was including dropping the boxes in the garage at the new home and not their designated location, and placing furniture in new rooms without unwrapping it or putting it together, along with my fiancé and I helping load and unload things to try to speed the process up. We were charged for materials such as tape to tape their pads to protect our furniture without being told we would be. The movers took a documented 6 breaks over 15 minutes a piece. (We know moving is hard work; and fully expect movers to take breaks for water ect. But to milk the clock on such a small move is unprofessional) We also had walls, door jams, and furniture damaged with the lack of care for our belongings. We called to speak to management about the outrageous bill charged for the small move, was told we would be called back promptly after discussions took place, was told personally by management there is no reason the move took as long as it did, and almost two weeks later still waiting after repeated phone calls and voicemails. Totally unprofessional. We would not recommend them at all sadly even though we have used them in the past, and would give 0 stars for lack of care and professionalism if possible. read more

They sent 2 small guys to move some super heavy pieces. And what should have been a 2-3 hour job turned into 8!! It was almost midnight when they left! AND they damaged 98% of every piece they moved!! It was a disaster! So we had about 10 pieces of furniture and about 15 boxes and were literally moving directly across the street.....and they charged almost $1000!!!!!!! I say they are intentionally doing this as a price gouging!!! When we called to discuss the damaged goods, they didn't even want to talk about the extra 6 hours! The guys that came to do the moving said they were told it was boxes and a washer-dryer! The entire experience was a nightmare!! And we still don't have any answers! read more

Please do not use this company!!! The guys complained and whined about the heat (as if I had control over it) and carelessly/ recklessly moved my furniture. They cracked my Green Egg grill (literally dropped it on the ground)because they were too lazy to take precautions when moving a ceramic grill and broke my dining room table due to poor packaging! My husband and I have moved this grill on our own several times and have never came close to dripping the grill. Have these guys never moved a Green Egg?! It was on wheels! After filing a claim, they offered a petty check that doesn't even cover an hour of moving! Now I'm stuck with a grill and dining room table that's not usable! I thought going with a popular company would be reassuring but I was wrong! They could care less and took forever to process or respond to me. DO NOT CHOOSE THESE MOVERS! Believe me, I am doing you a favor if you read this review. My husband and I had a very big house so we had a lot of large expensive furniture and we also we're going to need storage since our new home was not going to be ready when we moved out so I chose All My Sons because they could store all of our stuff in a climate controlled warehouse. The salesperson who came to the house was very reassuring and the price came in as the lowest bid. We had worked for weeks packing as much as we could beforehand to keep the price down. They scheduled the move over 3 days which was smart. As I said, we had a lot of stuff. The first morning, a Thursday, they arrived and told me they couldn't move the pool table. It would have good to know that ahead of time but we got the name of American Billiard Co, who came immediately and did excellent work packing the table for storage at their facility. AMS got to work packing the rest of the house. To our surprise, they only brought one truck and worked until 10PM! When scheduling a move, I'd advise you to lay out the work times ahead of time because it only got worse from there. For some reason, they had no other truck, so they had to completely unload the truck before returning on Friday, so the 3 man team didn't arrive until close to noon. Packing of the truck with furniture commenced and they didn't stop until midnight! My husband and I slept in the house with no furniture on the floor of the bedroom on pillows that were still waiting to be put in the truck. We were supposed to go to an Air BnB but we couldn't show up there after midnight! We were exhausted by then. What would families with children do if this would happen to them? On Saturday, the last day of the move, the guys were sent on another job before arriving at our house so they didn't arrive until 3:00 that afternoon! And everything had to go! On this day, they worked until 1AM. By that time, they were also exhausted and although still trying to be careful with our belongings, it was hard for them to care. AMS, moves people for a living. They are experts. We have thankfully only moved 3 other times. A walk thru at the completion of the job should have been completed to find the numerous items that were left behind: Odd chairs, plant stands, garage items such as pots and potting soil, and others odds and ends too numerous to name. They filled the back of a large bed pickup. During the move, the guys courteously moved our large personalized welcome mat at the front door so they wouldn't be rolling over it all day with heavy hand trucks. When they were finished late Sat night, THEY PUT IT BACK!! We were MOVING!! Don't get me wrong, The guys were great-hardworking and polite, but put in an impossible situation by the company. The move into our new home went much more smoothly although my washing machine was broken, a very old antique hutch was damaged and we're still finding damaged places and chips on lamps and furniture. It's hard to move stuff twice. We wish we went with the other company. read more

Absolutely worst experience I've ever had -- EVER! Kicked off the day by the driver having an altercation with neighbor over driving truck in their year and breaking branches off tree -- then cursing at him -- this was followed by visit from Sheriff. Excruciatingly slow -- took 10 hours to move 3 rooms of furniture/property -- everything was boxed, broken down and consolidated in front two room when they arrived. Should have taken 2 hrs max to load. Truck too small so required multiple trips Movers literally exhausted from prior day and caught them taking nap. Serious damage to numerous pieces of furniture and house -- dropped a high $ patio bar off a 4 ft deck, walked dolly full of fragile boxes off the back end of the truck -- and Justin (Management) was totally unresponsive and incompetent .. Unethical, incompetent and fraudulent practices in providing estimates and information. read more

I only selected a star because zero wasn't an option. Where do I begin? This was the most emotionally draining and most tiring experience. I worked just as hard, if not harder than the movers (not sexiest but I'm a female). They complained majority of the move, even though all of my things were packed and organized. They made a hole in my wall and neglected to tell me, l happened to walk past it and then mentioned it. I was so embarrassed to move into my community due to the vulgarity used by the employees. They asked my neighbors for cigarettes and took far too many breaks. They'd disappear quite often. I truly feel if my husband was around they would have been more respectful, they took advantage of my age and sex. Had I been in a different demographic, I feel they would have worked more diligently and shown respect. This organization didn't save me time and cost me money as a result. Horrible service No show on moving dates, which were rescheduled for next day with no advanced notice. Misplaced multiple items including hardware to reassemble piano and dining room table. Repeatedly dropped boxes and knicked walls during delivery. Damaged furniture and broke multiple dishes. Disrespectful and inept movers. All my sons movers and storage: we hired this company to move us approximately one hundred yards into our new house. They moved our stuff very slowly, in a sloppy manner and after 8 hours they left without telling us leaving behind lot of furniture and other heavy stuff in the rental house. They left heavy furniture on the floor of the new house without removing the wrapping.They were paid in full for 9 hours earlier saying that their office was going to close and that payment needs to be made. They did not complete the job but left earlier once the payment was made. We contacted their office and the manager told us that they could not do any thing now but maybe able to send some body after a week! We had to vacate the rental house the next day. This company is a fraud and deceitful. We will never recommend them to any one. read more

I made a difficult move today after a terrible break up & the 3 guys who moved me today were lifesavers!! They didn't let me move a finger, they even offered suggestions on how to configure my furniture in my new place!! SO friendly, so courteous & incredibly efficient. Once I find a new home in the next 6 months I will absolutely use them again!! Highly recommended & the price was very reasonable. read more
