We started off with his lawn service, which is more than fairly priced, and from our first meeting onwards, we were impressed how respectful, generous (with his time and energy), responsive, detail-oriented, and communicative he is. We have been at our property for under two years and have been focused mainly on big house projects since the purchase. However, we wanted to get ahead of hurricane season by taking trees away from the roof and gain more protection from wildfires by cleaning up the wooded areas that were overgrown and encroaching on the house. We also wanted to make the woods more accessible and create some more space for future projects. Dave is very energetic and creative with a lot of ideas. He also has the experience completing complex large-scale projects. Dave creates partnerships with other companies he trusts, along with his own crew, to do the work. Dave has extremely high standards for himself, his workers, and those he partners with. In our experience, Dave delivers what he promises, and then a whole lot more. We are several parts into a much larger and long-term set of projects with him. We appreciate that Dave communicates when he will arrive, he manages the projects closely, lets us know each step well before it happens, negotiates the pricing, and is responsive and adaptable to changes. Once the tree company took off the first layer of dense brush, and revealed a beautiful forest behind it, we decided we wanted to change the original plan and create a lot more openness. This was obviously going to cost a bit more as the initial scope has expanded. Dave immediately called us to work through all the details and make sure we were on the same page as far as what we wanted done, then he worked on the price, and was back to us quickly with the number. The work done was massive, and not inexpensive, but the price was more than fair. Someone else wouldn't have done nearly as nice of a job and would have easily charged a lot more. The work the tree company and his crew did was phenomenal. Not only did they really listen to us, work super hard, they went above and beyond as well to make sure we were happy. Every person working here was respectful of us and our property. We feel like a whole new world has opened up here, and Dave keeps reminding us that this is only the beginning of the possibilities. More birds have come out, we now have a lovely breeze in the backyard, and it just looks beautiful. Dave's goal is to make his customers happy. He set a high bar for our expectations, then delivered way beyond them. We feel so thankful and lucky to have him on our team and in our corner.

I am disappointed with my experience with Coastal Irrigation and Plumbing, especially after…read morespending over $4,000 and still needing the entire job redone. We were referred to this company by a neighbor and initially felt confident moving forward. I called for service because we needed a new sprinkler system timer and a full overhaul of our sprinkler components. Technician David came out and quoted $700 for the sprinkler repairs and $3,400 for a new pump with installation. We agreed to both. Unfortunately, the work was not completed correctly from the start. David told me the sprinkler system was repaired and functioning, but many of the heads still weren't working. When he and another technician, Ricky, returned the following week to install the pump, I was told David would also finish the sprinkler repairs that should have been completed on day one. Instead, he arrived believing the job was already done properly -- it wasn't. The pump installation itself was another issue. David and Ricky spent eight hours installing the pump on a piece of wood, leaving the setup looking messy and unprofessional. The written estimate even stated that the area would be cleaned up and river rock placed around the unit, but neither technician seemed aware of this. After calling to complain, the field manager came out near the end of the day and confirmed the pump had not been installed correctly. A follow‑up visit was scheduled. On Monday, the area manager, Patrick, returned and spent roughly seven hours re‑installing the pump properly because everything had to be redone. He also fixed all of the sprinkler heads that should have been addressed during the original $700 repair. Patrick was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough -- everything you would hope for in a technician -- but it was frustrating that the job required this level of rework simply because qualified technicians were not assigned from the beginning. While I appreciate Patrick's professionalism and the final result, the overall experience was disappointing. After investing a significant amount of money, I expected the work to be done correctly the first time, not completely redone days later.
