I have three kids that see Massi, a 14 year old, 11 year old and an 8 year old. They all have really thick wavy, one is curly hair. She does an amazing job! It is hard to please kids this age and they all love their cuts! I decided it was my turn seeing it was over 4 years since I had anything done to my hair. I am so impressed with Massi and her hair talent! I have been getting my hair colored for 10 plus years. Let me tell you I've seen it all. Hair stylists who don't know a thing about bleach and burn all your hair off, hair stylists who think a trim means 5 inches, good enough hair stylists and everything in between. I have never been to someone who was so proficient and provided such quality hair treatment! I have really thick, long, frizzy hair. I get my hair colored blonder. In the past, some stylists have gotten too lazy because coloring my hair takes so long, that they would rush through the rest of the coloring process and over process the part of my hair that had already been bleached. Massi did not do that at all. Although, my hair is a lion to tame, she carefully put bleach and each foil on every section of my hair. She meticulously made sure to only touch my natural and not the part that had already been colored. It took awhile, and I'm sure Massi was tired, but she still took her time. The results turned out fantastic. I have never had such quality treatment done to my hair or have the color look so good! Definitely go to Massi at the retreat! You will not regret it!!! read more

VERY VERY Disappointed and Unsatisfied with the results of my Microblading with Massi on 1/29/18. I complained with her 3 times and she was willing to fix it but I have to pay again. (I have proof of conversation too)Not fair at all because I paid $600.00 the first time I gave her the opportunity to do the touch up because is the proper way to handle it. "supposedly she is the expert" I paid 50.00 for the touch up, and again I didn't have any good results at all. I gave Massi the opportunity to fix it but instead she just said "I will give you a good discount " Very unprofessional of her part. I paid for a treatment that I didn't receive. You can see with proof that she does not have the experience to do the Microblading at all. There is no pictures in her profile that can show proof of her experience with Microblading. I came to get my hair done with Massi, I had asked her if she knew how to dye pastel color, she said she did and had a lot of experience with it. So of course I trusted her and went to go dye my hair with her. The whole time i was there, she kept complaining about how dark my hair was and how much product she was using on my hair saying "hairstylists don't like doing this, they hate it cause it's so hard"..isn't that her job!? Lol. she made it super awkward, and on top of that horrible experience she RUINED my hair, she bleached my hair THREE times in one sitting and said "omg I oxidized your hair I'm sorry Idk what I did" no shit! she had no fucking idea on what she was doing! Bleaching someone's hair 3 times in 5 hours is a little excessive! She charged me $300 for this trash! And told me she was going to go with a professional to ask for a consultation on how to fix my hair.. whatever that means. It's been 3 days and until right now I haven't heard from her.. Massi is simply the best eye brow shaper in San Diego. Don't even bother looking anywhere else. She does threading and tweezing and does a beautiful job. Massi is an eyebrow rockstar, but she has also been doing my hair color, my haircut and my husband, son and daughters' haircuts for the past 6 years. We could not be any happier. Massi is the person to go to for threading and brow shaping. I've gotten threading before but it didn't last as long, you can tell the difference in her technique. When shaping my brows she explained to me how they were uneven (which was my doing) and recommendations to fix them. I really felt like she knew what she was doing and she really cared.
