I was hesitant to use Safelite at this location due to their reviews but went ahead anyway since it was covered by my insurance. They did a great job with my repair and were done within about 20 minutes from start to finish. The crack is still somewhat noticeable but I expected that due to the size and shape. I am happy with the work and sorry to hear about other people's bad experiences but I would recommend them to others.

Hmm, how can you see it from standing on the ground, 5 feet away in bright sunlight, on a 4x4 truck? "We can't touch it, it's probably rusted all the way through it, I've see some others just like it ". Really? I guess all old trucks are the same? So I went home, and got up on a ladder, and took the trim off, saw the area up close, like within inches of it. It was just a tiny spot where a rock had chipped the paint off and it had a tiny "surface" rust spot. It was NOT a hole! And it didn't affect the area/window channel, where the window sits in the grove, because it was only on the very top edge! Bottom line- they wouldn't install the new windshield! I wasted a weeks time and two trips to town, for nothing. They're too lazy to get a ladder out and take a closer look to see for themselves up close. And the manager didn't want to come outside and look at it either. What happened to customer service??? Very disappointed
