When I decided that I wanted to replace the venetian blinds in my place with curtains, I knew it would be a considerable expense. So I decided to not mess around. I went to 8 different places and got bids from 7 of them. Master Blinds gave me the most and they also charged the least. Full disclosure, Theirs became the least when they called back with a Black Friday special of 15% off. Master Blinds gave me "more" because I hoped to get Lutron motorization. Everything I read said that Lutron is the most quiet and I'm already in their ecosystem. However the other places that offered Lutron - the bids were insanely high. Even when they downgraded to Somfy or Rollease, the other bids were now in range with the others, but still a little more than Master Blinds. Also, Master Blinds is accommodating. Several places don't do valances or cornices. One place said that if I was using Lutron tracks, the curtains had to be pinch pleat. Master Blinds was able to give me ripplefold. That same place also said that if you want dual drapes of a sheer and a blackout, they both have to be motorized. Master Blinds was able to make the sheer manual. Another place screwed up the measurements and didn't account for the stacks. And one place had the most paltry selection of fabrics imaginable. They are the best place in town. My windows are beautiful and I am happy. They know their stuff. They do good work. read more

We needed window coverings throughout our condo in Studio City. One window was especially difficult to cover because of its height. Nicole came to the condo and gave us excellent ideas for how to cover the windows, including using a solar panel motorized shade for the difficult to reach window. Master blinds, specifically Nicole, was amazing to work with. They were very prompt at getting us an in-person, free estimate. Nicole is very professional and friendly. She is also very honest, and will ensure the job is complete with the very best quality. We had an issue with our windows being angled, due to construction, and they did their very best to ensure that our roller shades were straight. They were able to make each roller shade perfectly straight, even with our windows being very poorly angled with different depths. They have many options to choose from, and Nicole is great at getting to you towards the one that will fit your style. We have a large window that is very difficult to reach, so we opted for the motor. The motor is very quiet, and very convenient. We decided not to do a motor on the other three, but the chain looks very nice and it's hooked to the wall for easy access with a minimal look. Another concern of mine was that the covers would look quite big, but they are indeed the perfect size and do not affect any light. Nicole is great at offering advice on what looks better in situations, and will make sure it looks amazing and just how you want it before she leaves your home. Master blinds was great at communication along the way, and we were always in the loop with the current situation and their approximate arrival times. I could not recommend the mark... And we will eventually be using them for our whole home! After many quotes and reviews, we definitely made the right decision with going with master blinds.
