This is the only full-service dry cleaning business in Ukiah. They take advantage of their monopoly by charging substantially higher prices than in Santa Rosa. Dress shirts for example are nearly a third more expensive to launder at Master Cleaners than in Santa Rosa. But, with the price of gasoline, nobody is going to drive to Santa Rosa for a cleaners. If business takes you south regularly though, take your cleaning elsewhere. If you use them, you will find they do good work. Do not bring anything you love here. They charged me $40 upfront to wreck a short satin dress. First time I went to pick it up they hadn't even cleaned it and the pressing was terrible, they pressed all the stains in, so when i had them redo it they were still there. I told them exactly what the stains were, deodorant and dress makers chalk, btw, things that can be taken out if not pressed in. They then proceeded to "not speak very good english". They wouldnt pay for the dress or even refund my money. I've worked at dry cleaners, in other states, for 29 years. I know what I'm talking about. NEVER GOING BACK! read more

So, I asked how much to dry clean my jacket, and Master Cleaners' price was $19.50, expensive! I then asked him what their guarantee was in case the jacket gets damaged. He answered, I don't want the job, No guarantee!. I asked," why don't you want the job?" He said, "you don't trust me, I don't trust you. I was like wow. I needed my new coat steam pressed to get the wrinkles out. I live in Lakeport so on 4/25/22 I called and asked if I could get it done while I was in Ukiah. A very sweet lady named Kim said I could drop it off at 9 and pick it up at 11. After I asked, she said it would be $20. I arrived at 9 and a man came to the register. After I told him what Kim had relayed to me, and that I had driven over from Lakeport for this, he said "no, it's $28, doesn't matter what she said, I'm the boss". And I left. read more

The owner, Mr. Soung Kim does not care if he ruins clothes. He blamed me for bring a silk shirt with a small stain, that amazingly turn into a huge stain and several scorch marks. I requested my original cost of cleaning and refused. Avoid this business if you want to retain the quality of your clothing. File complaints with the BBB as well. read more

Although I have not used their service, I'm writing this review because you just don't hear too often of a business telling you the truth at the risk of loosing money! Well that's what happened~ I called to get their help with a leather jacket that has mildew. After trying numerous things I called Master Cleaners to find out how much it would cost to clean it & they carefully explained the problem with mildew on leather and in this case it simply would be a waste of money to continue attempting to rid the jacket of it. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE. I went to this cleaners for the first time today. Yes, as the other reviewer stated, they have a monopoly on dry cleaning here, and they charge a premium. I brought in a denim jacket to have the sleeves shortened and a leather jacket to dry clean. They wanted $65 to clean the leather jacket. Anywhere else in the U.S. it would be $35 - $40. I decided against having the jacket done there. Then I asked about the denim jacket I wanted altered and dry cleaned for Halloween. The man behind the counter told me that dry cleaning was $14.50. And that the alteration of just 2 sleeves was a whopping $28.50. I wanted it done so I left it there. After we left, within one minute I checked the receipt. There was an extra charge of $14. We went immediately back. Now, here's the rub. I took it in on Tuesday, and agreed to pick it up on Friday. Yet, I had a funny feeling that they would immediately do something to my jacket to make sure I could not approach what that charge was for. Well, when we went back in, the extra charge that he did not ever mention of $14 was to take off 2 buttons. Yes, he told me $7 a button. I told him to forget the buttons. That's when the trouble started. His wife was telling him to just take off the $14, but he insisted. He then shoved my new jacket back on the counter and just said take it, and get out. I'm serious. They charged me $14 without saying what it was for, and they started yelling at me to get out. This, after she had already cut one sleeve off. So, I got my jacket back damaged, and was literally thrown out of the place. This man is rude, and abusive. Further, I find his antics unethical, and unprofessional. Indeed, he lost this potential customer forever, and lost out on $14.50 and $28.50. He is an idiot, and indeed, I felt that he might come at me, in a dangerous fashion. ANYONE THAT IS ENTERTAINING USING THIS PLACE SHOULD LISTEN UP. This place scammed me, and the owner can become violent. Who needs this just to get clothes dry cleaned? I don't. They do good work on my clothes but,on my long-sleeve shirts have shrunken about 2" inches on the sleeve and The length-one is wool, Cotton and rayon, so beware, after cleaning check them out. read more

They go above and beyond exceptional service. If a button is starting to fall off they notice and sew it back on for you. They have gotten out impossible stains like coffee and chocolate. I have a 2 year old, and the owner is always so happy to see my son and never fails to help me to the car with my dry cleaning. Not to mention they use eco-friendly and non toxic chemicals. It is slightly expensive, but for the quality of work it is worth it. I highly recommend this place, especially for your delicate items. read more

This place is great. Did an awesome job repairing my dress, and for really cheap and overnight. I highly recommend for alterations.

Very unhappy with the customer service. A very expensive blouse was damaged by this cleaner. I was assured by the employee who took it in that it was easy job. When I pointed out the damage to the owner or manager (who ever he was) he could have cared less. There was not an apology or heaven forbid a offer of a discount.
