I hired master moving to move some items from chino valley to ash fork. The quote they gave me did include a truck, but they showed up in their personal vehicles with a trailer. That surprised me a little bit, but at least they got everything in. The price was very reasonable.Especially for the two movers and because i did not have to rent the truck. They helped me with the move, and then they helped me fix what the prior movers did by putting things in the wrong spot. And I was unable to move anything. They offered to put everything together for me as well. But unfortunately, my screws and connections for my bed were lost in a prior move. So they could not finish that. This is a fraudulent bussiness that runs scams on their customers to retain their deposits (1/2 the cost of the job) and then back out of doing any work. Be very careful of communicating with the owner, Chris Guieb. He will make up all sorts of stories to get out of a job, cancel on you last minute, and then have the audacity to retain your deposit. Do not use this mover under any circumstances. This business is fraudulent and a scam. After I booked a move with them 2 weeks prior to my move, the owner texted me the night before my move to say both him and the other mover have lost their wallets and their drivers licenses. I'd already noted I would be renting a UHaul truck that they need to drive and that they need their licenses to register as drivers with UHaul. When I called to see what was going on, he argued with me, and then hung up. He then refused to give me back my $450 deposit. There is a review of this bussiness on Google that notes that the owner couldn't even rent from Uhaul because of bad credit. This was what was going on here too. Having unregistered drivers drive a UHaul truck voids your insurance with them. Another point the owner argued and lied about. read more

We searched the Prescott area for a local mover and found Chris. He came out and was agreeable to work with. He said that his quote included boxing everything in the Kitchen, buffet, items on the walls, the garage and a storage room. It was a good price and he needed 50% down. That made me uncomfortable on a move 5 weeks out, but I did it. We boxed the fine china in the buffet and my office. He was supposed to show up at 9am with two guys and box things. We walked thru the house again and he said he was good. Nothing was boxed. He was there for an hour and kept promising a 5 hour move the next day. When he finally showed up, very late, he had a rental truck and one guy. His claim of another crew and truck is up for debate. Still gonna be only 5 hours. My wife took a call from him complaining that we didn't box. Late that day he finally got to my new house (10 mi) and started unloading. He showed some broken Christmas dishes and a glass picture frame. I helped them unload. No furniture! None. So we begin the 3rd day on a two day move. Gonna be there early, he's there at 9:30. Still complaining about the lose stuff, we had a discussion where he said that packing meant into the truck (LOL). The end results were several things broken. My corner desk in 4 pieces was severely scratched on top where they dragged the cabinet across the surface, Several more things broken inside of boxes. The main reason, they didn't wrap things they put in boxes. Just dropped them in. I took no photos, but its hard to remember things like that in the moment when you're unhappy and your wife is chewing your ear off. read more

We did a move that was 83 miles away. Christopher rented a 20' Uhaul, and was 25 minutes late because he said there was a line at the Uhaul place. I was surprised they didn't have their own truck. Another surprise was that there was only one guy, the picture on FB and Yelp shows two guys, plus the price he gave me was the same price another company gave me for TWO guys, so I presumed there would be two guys, that was stupid of me. After loading the furniture and boxes from my house and the storage locker there was still some room left in in the truck, so it was not a big job. The move took 4.5 hours (including 1.5 hours to drive to the new house, loading and unloading) and I was charged $1,450.00, definitely on the high side for just one man. I wish I had gone with Moving On movers in Prescott because they quoted me the same price for 2 men and the job would have done quicker and they would have assembled the furniture. The main problem is that I needed at least the two new bed frames assembled and Christopher told me the day before that he could do that quickly and it was no problem, but there was a problem, he had forgotten an important family appointment and had to get back to Prescott Valley and left us with no bed frames assembled with their mattresses on them. I had to give up a 6 year dream just because he did not help assemble the bed frames. My daughter and I got partly through a twin frame but started having trouble with it and gave up because it was getting late so we went back to the quad-city area. Also, I bought the house specifically so I could fulfill my dream. Unfortunately, I was under a time constraint with starting my dream and because we did not have beds to sleep in at our new house I missed my first day and was removed from the program. The upside is he did get the furniture and boxes moved. I wish he had been like other movers and asked where I wanted things. I had to catch him to get things in the areas where I wanted them, there is only one really heavy box I missed telling him where it goes. He actually told me he doesn't stage things. I never had a mover not ask where each box and piece of furniture goes. So, make sure you are getting at least two guys and get a firm price if you want to hire this company, better yet find another company to help you with your move, they will ask you where you want your furniture and assemble it, and not give your adult daughter a speech about following your dreams when you just crushed someone else's. read more
