We ordered a 12-Cut Pizza. Carmino's calls it a Jumbo. We selected four toppings -- pepperoni, sausage, green pepper and onion. When we got home and opened the pizza box, our "Jumbo" pizza had 1 slice of pepperoni and one sausage per slice on the pizza. This was very, very disappointing. Carmino's, is being so cheap that it will cost them future business and poor reviews. Their pizza is typically good (not excellent or great as others have reviewed). I have had better. read more

I have been a real long time customer since 1975 and lived in Cleveland almost most of my life and have been to this establishment well over 150 times but moved away and recently came there for pizza and my beloved Stromboli and food was horrible and disgusting and me and my wife were like holy (F). What happens to you guys . My parents ordered from you guys all the time to Brooklyn off biddulph rd . And was I was younger when my mom said we ordered carminos I was like hell ya but not anymore . Very disappointing and guy at the counter was rude and will not never come back . It always seems when the family lets the kids take over it falls apart and quality goes down the drain . My wife wanted Stromboli so we stopped here and ordered a large Stromboli i have came to this Carminos for a long time ever since my father took me for the first time when I was younger I will have to tell you their Stromboli is the best around ohio and also their cream soda is a must have satisfied everytime I have ever came here the place is a quiet setting there is seating if you want to dine in and there is parking behind the building I will also add that the customer service is awesome I asked for a plastic knife because I was going to cut it and the gentleman offered to cut it for me which was greatly appreciated I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for good service amd food. read more

I got a voucher in the mail for a free pizza since I'm new to the area. I decided since it's raining and I'm lazy I would use it. I called Carmine's and the gentleman who answered the phone was very nice. I ordered my pizza and was told it would be about 45 minutes. About 20 minutes or so later there is a knock at my door. The delivery guy was really nice as well. We chatted for a few minutes. My pizza is nice and piping hot (it's been a minute since I actually got hot pizza) it was so hot that the cheese actually was stringy like it is when you get it at the actual restaurants. Ordered wings and pizza. It's been longer than I can remember since I got food here. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food came. The wings were nice and crispy. I can't believe I've never gotten around to reviewing Carminos. We used to live relatively close to this place and my wife and I would order it very often. This is a great CLE gem. Their pizza always has a fair amount of really good cheese and a rich sauce, I think it's the oregano that I taste. It's really quite good, especially on their thick but not overly doughy crust. We used to get their BBQ wings as well. We used to get them A Lot! They've got great weekend specials as well as reasonable prices for throughout the week. Today I'm back in the neighborhood dropping off our taxes to the accountant so I'm grabbing dinner here before I have to head back into downtown. Meatball sub is on the way!! read more

On my mission to find my favorite pizza place around the Cleveland area, I decided to check out Carmino's Pizza. The special of the day was either a one topping sheet pizza or a one topping, large pizza with chicken and jojos and a side. I ordered delivery and was told that it would take about 1 hour and 45 minutes but to my surprise the pizza was ready in less than an hour. The pizza was really good. The sauce was not too sweet, the cheese was thick and the crust was evenly cooked. The fried chicken was also fresh. This meal is good for 3-4 people. The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that the large pizza is about the size of my hand. It was surprisingly small and not the size of your typical large pizza. read more

Carmino's is my spot. I live a couple doors down from the place so I've frequented there a lot since moving in, but I've been ordering from them for years prior to this. Their Stromboli's are the best around. They also have excellent quality appetizers. Their pizza is really good if you can stomach how greasy they are, because they are... really greasy. Prices are a tad steep in my opinion, but otherwise, I recommend giving them a shot (especially the Stromboli). read more

My first time there was thankfully on Monday. They have $3.99 Jumbo Wings (10). I got plain fried because I assumed that they would be battered and fried, but they only fry the chicken by itself with no seasoning or batter. So, I knew next time I went to get them SAUCED! The spaghetti was done well and was quite tasty. We'd never ordered from here before, so we were a bit hesitant, but I'm glad we went through with it. In case anyone else is wondering, yes their marinara sauce is vegetarian. We couldn't tell from the menu, but after a quick call, the helpful staff confirmed our inquiry. The takeout boxes were nice, neat and organized. All our food arrived warm and fresh. They even graciously included packets of Parmesan cheese without us having to ask for them. The only reason I removed a star was for the side salad. While it tasted fine, it was a bit on the small side. Plus, it was just a small cup of iceberg lettuce and a single tomato wedge. Seems this is now our "go to" pizza place. Yes we order way too much pizza. That aside, the subs are a good value for the price. Best amongst them would be the Italian, followed closely by the fish. Jojos are the Cleveland standard ones. The chicken dinners are a great value and always good. Haven't had a bad dessert from here either. Speaking of, the best is the chocolate outrage ($2.59). February 28: Ordered at 723pm. Told 1 hour and $5 delivery. Made follow up call at 853pm, told on its way. 926pm received call from driver for directions. Pizza arrived 15 minutes later. Cold food and grease over everything! Breadsticks doughy, not cooked all the way through. Wing "sauce" was wing grease. Pizza may be delivery but tastes like Di'Giorno. The one star is for the full refund we got today when we stopped in the store requesting one. Nice, although the Manager never apologized or asked us to give them another try, but rather made an excuse saying 'Yeh, we were busy last night.' One of the most disappointing pizza experiences ever. If the food was good it would have been worth the wait....kind of. But both were horrible. read more

My husband and I moved to Parma a year and a half ago and order Carminos 3 times a month. It is always consistent, I really like that because I worked in a pizza shop for 18 years, so consistency is important. The only draw back is it takes a long time for delivery. One time it was almost 2 hours I get it been there done that but don't tell a customer 45 to an hour when its not. The pizza was cold, I was assured it would be hot when I called back after an hour, the man on the phone said i can cancel the order or you can take it, that was rude, rough night I guess. I didn't ask for a refund and we were hungry patience goes a long way in customer service. I still order from Carminos, I love their chicken and my family loves their pizza, I will continue to order from Carminos, if I ever catch the man who was rude to me I will let him know. Best Stromboli in all of The Land! Soft chewy dough rolled around smoky ham, salami, cheese, a very robust marinara, & hot (or mild) peppers. Small dine-in area with 3 booths and a long table for large groups. Coupla pinball-like machines to keep the kids occupied while you wait on the za. I Love This Place I was told about this Amazing Place 18 yrs ago, The first thing I tried was their Stromboli which comes with mozzarella cheese, ham and hard salami with a side of marinara sauce. I always order extra meat and a bowl of sweet & sour sauce because to me they complement each other very well. At one point for serval of years I ate a Stromboli for dinner. Pretty solid pizza. It was our first time ordering from here and we got half cheese and half mushroom black olive. Sauce was good, a little on the thinner side, but flavorful. Cheese was cheesy, didn't have that funky chewing plastic taste that some cheeses get. The boyfriend really liked this pizza. He enjoyed the crust, which was cooked through and not too thin or thick. We had a side of buffalo sauce and that had a lot of flavor depth to it. We will order from here again. It's a solid standard we want a pizza delivered by a not chain pizza style place. read more

I see most reviews on here deal with delivery; which I haven't dealt with personally. This review deals with the visit me and my girlfriend had for dinner in the restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice and open and quaint. The service was average, but what sold me on this place were the quality of the food AND the value. We ordered a small pizza along with an order of breadsticks and our total was around $7! That alone for a Pizza Hut or Dominos would be a good deal, but this is some high quality pizza we're talking here. The breadsticks were light and fluffy and full of flavor and everything on the pizza tasted fresh. I recommend highly that if you had a bad delivery experience, go sit in for dinner or lunch because I think you will be pleasantly surprised. They get an A for me. read more

This one star review is because of the employee's and management. There have been allegations made to where the management wants us to pick up the food at the curb instead of the driver coming to my door as they should. These allegations were never confirmed by the management and really don't matter considering the drivers never step foot in my house or on my front stoop. The food has always been very good but I feel this situation arose from pure laziness on the part of the drivers. When I called to try to clarify this the management wasn't listening and dug in their heels. Great food but crap customer service and the management doesn't care. I spent a lot of money over the last year with this restaurant but never again and I will be telling friends to stay away as well. read more
