I started to look for roofers in June 2023, and had several come out to the house , one never…read moreshowed up, the most impressive and on time representative was Josh from Perkins. I told Josh that I had watched almost all of Tim Kanaks videos on You Tube and was he up for the challenge of my questions. Josh laughed and said , "Lets go". He listened to all my questions about reroofing, secondary water barriers, tile differences, firm liability insurance, subcontractors, and permits. He explained everything very well and you could sense this company was for real. We made our roof choices and secondary water barrier and Josh sent me a proposal and contract to review. It was exactly as we discussed , but I suggested some minor changes in the contract terms which he had okayed by the firm and we went forward. Josh kept us apprised of all developments as things were being put in motion especially the timing of the availability of the tiles from the manufacturer. I received a call that the roof was going to be demoed and no fewer than 12 guys showed up along with Supervisor Jamie and they worked their butts off in one day in October to take the old roof off and put down the first layer of paper and replace a few wood panels on the roof , plus clean up around the base of the house so no nails or roofing material was around, Jamie was cleaning fanatic ! Once the roof was passed by our city inspectors on the first try they were back in mass to put down the Polyglass water barrier on the entire roof again in almost one day, amazing work! We waited a couple of weeks for our tiles to arrive and when they did again I got a call the guys were coming to install the tiles and that took a few days to get done. The city inspector told me the roof was done exceptionally well and approved it without any objections. The post cleanup was just as good and several neighbors asked who did the work and how great the roof looked. Perkins Roofing delivered a great product and working with Josh and Jamie was a learning experience. They are not the cheapest but you pay for what you get, recommend them highly and suggest anyone looking for a new roof watch the Perkins videos on YouTube ,as its very informative .

My gutters were disconnected in several places and they had been originally installed by a…read moredifferent company.. We just wanted to have them repaired ( reconnected in this case), and to my surprise after talking to 2 other companies ,they both told us they did not handle repairs only new installations, but thanks God Del Toro gutters did. The owner Maidiel as well as the 2 men whom came to do the work a few days later, Osmany and Erlin were all very professional, and they did a great job. Price was fair, service was fast and professional. At some point we'll upgrade our gutters but we did not want to do that right now, as we'll eventually have to do termites tenting ( within a year or so )which is notorious for destroying gutters. Once we are done with that, then I'll definitely give these guys the business, for our gutters upgrade ,they deserve it. On a side note I like to mention that I have not been paid to post this review, this my own objective review based on repair services provided by Del Toro on 5/27/25. I don't recommend companies easily, but this one I do and will. I hope this helps somebody, but please do your own due diligence.
