The grill was enclosed in an outdoor kitchen with slate surrounding it. We were worried the slate would be ruined, and cannot be matched due to its age. Mike conceived a great work around that supported the weight of the grill and surrounding kitchen. He has been wonderful to work with. He is on time, does a great job, cleans up and communicates constantly. If he was 15 minutes late, we received a text. I will post photos soon. We definitely will use Mike again for any home repairs. He does kitchen and bath remodels, painting, electrical and plumbing.

It wasn't anything major and I would not have been surprised if VHC told me I was beyond their warranty. When I first thought of bringing it to their attention I thought they might not even be in business anymore because so many aren't. I was pleasantly surprised to find they were still doing business. I called and spoke with Ed about it still expecting he might tell me he couldn't/wouldn't help. He was so kind and understanding and I know he didn't even have the files from that far back. He said he would send someone out to take a look and sure enough he stood by his workmanship and his electrician took care of everything. The windows look great. They are absolutely perfect, and cheap. Bad things second. They were done about a week after they said they would be done. They also broke the BRAND NEW GRANITE in the house and didn't offer to fix it. After asking them numerous times for a final bill (because I am trying to flip the house I am not going to stiff them) they threatened to put a lien on this house. I honestly must say that their owner is possibly the worst business man I have ever dealt with, and I would never ever consider doing business with him again. Our gutters need replacing in some areas but he still took the time to clean them out by hand when the power washer would not work on those areas. Just had Lateral come out to fix a clog. It appeared we had a major problem. I called on a Monday…read moreand they came out right at 8 the next day. Edward the tech was very knowledgeable, and easy going to talk to. Edward did everything he could to solve our problem, including going through our sewer pipe. He quoted us $1,400 . A lot of Money for us and said the owner would be in touch with us to go over the estimate, that was 8 days ago. I've tried call the company and the voicemail box is full. The camera that determined we needed $1,400 could not go past one part in our sewer line. It was determined the pipe might be collapsed. Something much more dire than a root going through. But again, Edward said the owner would be in touch to go over this. Since I never heard back from the owner, we got a second opinion. The second opinion determined this wasn't a collapsed pipe, no blockage. The difference I could see is the camera Lateral used. The other company's camera was better suited for the sewer pipe. We really really liked Edward! However I would NOT recommend the company based on the non interactions with the owner
