The young man was about 30 minutes late for early morning appointment, took only 10-15 minutes to complete the job and charged me $150.00. I used a different company then for the next time I needed a plumber and was charged just over half that amount for snaking a kitchen sink that was much more involved.

The next day he was able to come over with his son and snake a drain that was suspected to be clogged. After five minutes, they were able to get our drain unclogged. Bill made some recommendations on what to do for the future, how to properly take care of our drain and make sure that we don't have any more issues, and even suggested in due time repairing some of our old piping, whenever it was convenient for us. Prices seemed very reasonable, and we're not trying to be gouged in someone's time of need. I would recommend Drains Unlimited in a heartbeat and look forward to doing more business with them to continue the upkeep of my home in Livonia.

Plumbers came out and spent 10 minutes onsite (seemed really fast) and drain was fine when they left. Within 3-4 weeks it ran a little slower and slower. We are now 6 weeks out and I have sewage backing up in my basement. Warranty expired at 30 days. They want to charge me to do it again. I have my drain cleared once a year and have no issues in between. These guys won't stand behind their work after 44 days. I'll pay to have it done again, I just won't pay these guys. If you want it done right, don't use McCarthy Plumbing.
