Throughout the process, they kept us informed and provided detailed photos showing the damage and progress being made. The entire team was professional, communicative, and very easy to work with. We really appreciated the smooth experience and would absolutely contact them again for any future roofing work. The value was acceptable given the job at hand.

They had my roof replaced in 2 days and the craftsmanship was definitely acceptable. I then contracted JW to install new gutters, paint my home, replace my windows, and remove the popcorn from my ceilings. This is where the trouble started. When they came to install the gutters they installed the wrong color on 50% of the house. Those gutters had to be removed and the correct color installed. This added an additional day to the job. For the windows, I asked them not to replace a window in my garage, as I didn't see it as necessary. The garage is not temperature controlled and the window was fine. When their team showed up to replace my windows, the garage window was the first one that got removed. As they removed it they destroyed the old window, so they obviously had to install a new one, even though I never wanted that particular window to be replaced. I was assured by the contractor that I would not have to pay for that particular window as it was a mistake on their part. When the invoice came they did in fact charge me for that window. The interior job was quoted as 3 to 4 days. It took their crew roughly 3 weeks to do half of the home, and the job they did was far from acceptable. Add to that their inability to show up at a specified time (one day they would show up at 7:00 in the morning. The next day would show up at noon). At to that complete lack of communication from the contractor regarding showtimes and the entire endeavor became an exercise in frustration. If you want your roof replaced, this is a good company. Do not use them for any other service. If it is not a roof, it is outside of their wheelhouse

A Cautionary Review from a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran…read more I served in the United States Marine Corps for 7 years, from August 2013 to August 2020, as an 0331 Machine Gunner stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, and finished my active-duty career as a Drill Instructor at MCRD Parris Island, SC. During my time as a Drill Instructor, I received a Non-Judicial Punishment (NJP) for violating a recruit training order -- a mistake I take full responsibility for, but also one that many in the military community would recognize as not career-ending. As I approached the end of my service, I was referred to Monarch Roofing by a trusted friend who worked there. I applied, went through three rounds of interviews, and felt excited about the opportunity to transition into civilian life with a steady, reputable job. Things looked promising -- until I submitted my DD-214 discharge paperwork. Within a week of my discharge, Monarch Roofing denied my employment with no clear explanation, only stating: "After much consideration and discussion with the team." No feedback. No conversation. No opportunity for clarification or redirection. This wasn't just a job rejection -- it was a devastating blow during one of the most vulnerable periods of my life. The transition from military to civilian life is already challenging. That one decision sent me into a deep spiral of depression, and had it not been for my incredibly supportive wife and an old high school coach, I honestly don't know where I'd be today. What makes this experience harder to digest is that Monarch Roofing publicly advertises its "support" for veterans -- sponsoring veteran initiatives and even giving away roofs to disabled vets. And yet, when it came to offering meaningful employment support to a qualified veteran ready to work, they turned their back without a word. It's been nearly five years since this happened. Since then, I've become a father, earned a bachelor's degree in business, and fostered over a dozen children in our home. I've rebuilt my life -- but the emotional weight of this experience still lingers every time I see Monarch Roofing's veteran marketing campaigns. I'm not writing this review out of bitterness or with any expectation of gain. I'm writing this for closure -- and in hopes that Monarch Roofing leadership, especially those who are veterans themselves, take this perspective seriously. If you claim to support veterans, that support should extend to real opportunities -- not just marketing efforts. If you're a transitioning veteran considering Monarch Roofing for employment, I encourage you to ask the tough questions and advocate for yourself. And if you're a company decision-maker reading this, I hope my experience encourages you to offer more transparency and humanity during a veteran's most critical career transition.
