While we were in the store we decided to browse the two aisles of washing machines and dryers. We were not looking to purchase these machines at the time. To paint the picture, Carlton and I moved into our recently built home in 2022. We had not felt the need to immediately purchase a washer and dryer, since we had been accustomed to going to the laundromat for over 15 years. However, we knew that at some point we would eventually purchase a washer and dryer, for convenience. While we were simply looking, to analyze which type of washer we would eventually buy, an employee named CATHERINE A. approached us to see if we needed any assistance. At first we told Catherine we were just looking. Without hesitation, Catherine simply stated she was available to answer any questions we might have. Well, not feeling as though Catherine was merely pushing for a sale, we decided to start asking questions about the features of one set of the GE washers and dryers. Catherine was so knowledgeable, kind, cheerful and patient. She was able to answer every question we had. Catherine did an outstanding job of not only explaining the features of the appliances, but also the benefits of the Memorial Day Sale. My husband and I became very intrigued by the offerings of the store. So much so that we wanted to know what everything would cost. Upon request Catherine took the time to give us a complete mockup, to show us exactly what the purchase of the washer and dryer, necessary accessories, delivery and installation would cost. My husband and I felt it was too good of a deal to pass up. Therefore, Carlton applied for the store credit, and was approved. He wanted to take advantage of the 24 months no interest promotion. What was supposed to be a minor purchase for an ink cartridge turned into a $1700+ appliance purchase. The way Catherine extended Excellent Customer Service to us sealed the deal! We do not have any hint of buyers remorse, because we know Catherine was honest and transparent in her communication with us. I know this to be true, because after I left the Homewood Best Buy I actually researched some of the things Catherine told us. I also saw we purchased the items at a great price compared to other retailers for the exact same washer and dryer. I want Best Buy to know they have an outstanding employee in Catherine A, and she gives excellent customer service! If they were to roll the film footage, of our visit, they would see we were in the Homewood Best Buy from 1:54 pm - 3:02 pm. Most of that time was spent conversing with Catherine A, while we learned about the product and the sale, plus made the purchase. I would also like to add that Best Buy contracted with a very nice reputable delivery service. We had absolutely no issues with their delivery and installation.

So I put down my Roku tv remote, the air buds for my daughter and left the tv behind. Spoke to 2 managers they didn't seem to care. I did drive to Sam's Club that night to get my TV and I love it!. Best Buy let $450 walk out the door and didn't seem to care. I was trying to shop in my community. Customer service was horrible. Guy manager sitting at front was rude and lazy. Never got out the seat. I stood to the side to wait for him to finish a conversation with associates and then he summonsed me over like I was his child. I should have left then.

    I went to this establishment and the owner charged me twice what the part cost and got ANGRY,…read morestarted yelling and became Irate and told me to GO TO BEST BUY AND NEVER COME TO HIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. I went to this establishment and was sold a part for my radio for $100. I went to best buy and the same part for the radio was $45.00 I went back to the establishment and asked the owner why he sold it to me at that price and he began to get angry and yell at me and stated, "When you buy an item you agree to the price and when you go to another store and find it cheaper thats not my problem- GO TO BEST BUY AND NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. I offer you technical support that Bet Buy doesn't provide (which is not true). GO TO BEST BUY" I offered to pay with my credit card and he stated that its CASH ONLY- and his credit card machine doesnt work (yeauh right)- that was to prevent me from contacting the credit card company and disputing the charge. Additionally, I have audio recording of the entire incident. WOW. He has shown me his true colors. I have made 3 other transactions with this establishment in the past that went rather well but this one is the final one EVER. He is not the only business in town that sells parts for radios and I will never go there again and informing all of my friends and everyone else that I know NOT to patronize his establishment. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, OWNER WITH ANGER MANAGEMENT ISSUES.

    Another bad experience.... I noticed some of the people who work at this location have friends…read moreand/or family who come at certain times of the day. It is the same people, no matter what day of the week I stop by. Apparently, Salvation Army workers of this location "conveniently" bring out the "good stuff" for their family and/or friends. I think their family/friends are reselling the items at the local flea markets or Craigslist/Ebay, because it is no way they need 30 pairs of shoes in one shopping outing!!! I promise you, this is NO EXAGGERATION!!! 30 pairs of shoes conveniently handed over to a certain customer is NOT FAIR! Even though I had some negative experiences at this location, I really do still shop here at least a couple times a month. Most times, I walk out empty-handed, but there are those times when I find a TREASURE FOR ME or WISH I HAD SOMEONE TO BUY THE TREASURE FOR!!! See my updated photos.... I have finally figured out the end of the month and first of the month is the best time to find great furniture items. I guess this is when most people are in the process of moving... Additionally, I have found an occasional "pearl" hidden in the "sand" of most all of their departments... This is not the best of the thrift stores, but it is worth a drive by to see what is inside...

    I haven't been to this Sal Army in at least a year.......they had remodeled & moved the women's…read moresection into a dark, dank, cramped corner of the store & I simply could not! But I ventured back this week & was pleasantly surprised to see the remodeled again! The women's section has been rightly restored to the most expansive part of the store! They are arranging the clothing by color! Every aisle is wider.....carts & butts do not compete for space! The entire store seemed super clean & organized in every department! The floor help was friendly & available! The only faults are the sometimes vastly overpriced items.....a tiny lil vase with one tiny lil artificial flower for $6.99?????? And the loooong checkout lines. But the day I went summer was already 50% off so WIN!!! If you haven't been here in awhile, please have a look. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!!
