Which was less than I used to pay when Sears was still around. He came and explained to the husband what needed to be done and how much it would be and fixed our dryer. Today we needed him again for our washer. Again he fixed the problem quickly and for a fair price. Needless to say we were very impressed with Ray's work and he has two very satisfied customers here. I will tell all our friends about him. I tell you it's hard to find good people who do good work but Ray is a great guy and does great work.

The technician was courteous, seemed very knowledgeable, and took the time to answer my many questions. He tightened the valves and checked for leaks and then recharged the freon in my a/c system. The technician determined I had bad coils, which is what google told me, changed them and put everything back together. There was no way I would have been able to correctly re-assemble the dryer so the cost was well worth the wait time and the service itself. 2 weeks later the dryer is doing the same thing, I call, a couple of days later he comes out again and finds that one of my thermostats is broken, he repairs it free of charge and only charges me for the part. Jim-Co is literally a mom and pop operation. You call a landline phone and chances are you get an answering machine. The message tells you when they expect to have a break in service (it could be a week or so), you leave a message and they get back to you to schedule it. For the price, quality of work, and knowing I am supporting a local business - it is well worth the extra time I have to wait.

Had a replacement on hand, pulled out the old one but found pretty severe scorcing on the board. Pulled the unit out from the wall and tested the compressor and found it to be faulty. A new circuit board would only burn out and a new compressor was taking me into the big $$$ repair range. At this price point and age of the unit, both Daveand i agreed I am probably better off with a new unit. He then spent another 15 minutes offering excellent tips and points on what units I should be looking for and why. Excellent service and I will keep his info close at hand if/when any other appliances need repair.
