We had such a great time. There was a great big group of us and at first we are all just bumping into each other. Not really sure what we were doing, but they were really good about helping us out and it was really hard to solve. But I would definitely go there again. The only thing I would suggest is they need to crank the air up a bit, so I knocked the star off for that. read more

This was my first escape room, and I absolutely love it. When you first walk in, it seems a little small, but it opens up. You pick a room, and it's about $35 per person for one hour. No more than 10 in one room. You pick a room, and they play a video for you about your room. Long story short, you walk into your room, and they shut you in. They gave us 30 minutes with help, and 30 minutes without help, but we had three hints that we were allowed to use during the full hour. It was really fun, and relatively scary. I hope to go back with some of my other friends and do another room. read more

This was the last room we've done at Mastermind & was by far the best! Bank Heist has a great storyline and fun puzzles. It's challenging without being impossible. Abbie was our game master & she was THE best!! She offered up tips when she saw we were struggling & gave helpful clues when we caved in and decided we needed additional assistance. We just completed the Dracula experience and had the best time! This was our third room at the Peachtree City and for this one we had Ethan as our host and guide. He was awesome, even when we needed a little help, he would only nudge and not just give us the answer and left us to complete the challenge and escape from Dracula with just a couple of minutes to spare! Fun games. Nice staff. Would have given it 5 stars but the rooms don't change so we can't return and a few times, things were misplaced and went without notifying us so we spent time working on things that didn't belong in the room at all. read more

My kids and I had a great time here. Mike was a fantastic host and made sure my younger kids had a blast. Having done several of these myself I was not sure the puzzles would be accessible for a 7 and 10 year old but I was wrong. They had a blast and we now have a great family memory. Could've been better set up one of our drawers was supposed to open when knocked on and it didn't so it slowed us down also they could've given a bigger stronger magnet for one part of it also. Decent escape room! A group of ten of us visited Mastermind Escape Games for a birthday celebration and decided on their zombie escape room. For reference, you're dropped off in a grocery store and your goal is to get the items on the list within 60 minutes and escape to the helicopter waiting....if you don't, then you're zombie food. True, directions are slim, but the whole point is to use your brain, look and tug at everything and escape. 'Pull on' is the key phrase, because some wall hung photos revealed compartments and clues, and even some full arcade cabinets could be pulled to reveal a second room just by pulling on it. If you do get stuck, it's great to keep an eye on the monitor because they will sometimes send over clues if they see that you're stuck. The zombie escape room was comprised of three rooms, each room more challenging than the next, but manageable. Room for improvement: The biggest problem we all had was physically getting to Mastermind. There were so many detours and when we called, no one said 'oh by the way, there's a detour'. Considering none of us lived in peachtree city, it was kinda a mess getting there, and it made us late, so at least giving us the heads up woulda been cool. I kinda think they should also limit the group size. 10 people sounds like it can work, but the noise and crowds of our groups made even trying to help find clues challenging. 5 people seem like a good size number to me. And Yes I know, not Mastermind's fault, but man would it be nice to just have 5 or so folks in there. Being only my second escape room, i'm no expert, but I did enjoy myself for what it was. Did we escape? Well, being 15 minutes late, no we didn't, but we were three clues away from getting out, so it's doable, especially if you have all your time available. If you live in or near peachtree city and like escape rooms, it's a no brainer. GO! read more

This is the second time we came here. The first room was put together well. But game master sucked. The second room Bank Heist, was good. But we struggled with the vault because a critical part of the solution was stuck in a container. And it wasnt until 20 mins did the game master say anything. When we got to the final leg of the room, the puzzle was lacking. We got clues which were jumbled. So up to that poi t it was awesome. We asked the game master what it was. When she tried showing us. Even she couldnt get it to work. So she looked it up. I was talking to the manager and he said okay I'll look into it. If your puzzles are off fix THEM! We probably won't be back. To walk away frustrated because thier games pieces are worn is ridiculous. And to have the manger ignore it was crazy. read more

Great place to go have fun with friends and family. The rooms are very and make you want to go back time and time again.

We liked it so much we came back the day after our first escape room, and side three more. The rooms are elaborate, authentic, and rather tough. My Dad, who is new to these, and I were able to escape two out of the four rooms we played, but still had fun in the rooms we failed to escape. Gamemasters Connie and Camden were super sweet, and really sold the theme and story of the rooms well. Check this place out. read more

My wife and I have done nearly 70 escape rooms. Zombie Survival run here is about a 7/10 on our scale (well-done and worth doing locally but not planning a trip around). But the hint system is atrocious and you probably won't escape because of how useless it is. I wouldn't go back until they get a new system. It doesn't make sense to hire game masters if they can't actually help you at all. read more

My daughters recommended this place since we had a nice size group of people. We decided on the 'lost in time' escape room. Don't be intimidated as this is a very fun event to share with family and friends. You have an hour to figure out either easy or difficult clues to get you to the next room and find the hidden clue. It's a lot better with a nice group of people. You really find yourself helping each other and actually masterminding. The staff there explains the rules and you watch a very short film regarding your particular choice. You are given an iPad that keeps time for the hour. It's a little pricey but definitely a lot of fun to do as a group. read more

This place is incredible! The game rooms were clean and so much fun! From the online ordering through Groupon straight through to the very end we were impressed. Our group consisted of four people, three of which were trying escape rooms for the first time. Each of us felt like we had an opportunity to contribute to the problem solving. There was a pleasant mix of different types of puzzles and plenty of awesome visuals. We were provided with an iPad with access to clues whenever we needed them. Our game masters were paying attention to our progress and they volunteered a hint that we really needed but had not thought to ask for. We appreciate this a whole lot. When our time was up, we didn't escape, two enthusiastic guys in character showed up with encouragement and answered the frustrating question on the minds of everyone in the room. We proudly took our loser picture and left out of there. The adrenaline was still pumping though so we set off to find another place to escape from. Since this isn't about the other place, let me just say, Mastermind really spoiled us. We can't wait to return because by comparison the other place was a real nightmare!!! Not good. The directions were horrible. You need to explain how the game works, what you can and cannot touch, they directions were extremely vague. We did the zombie one and there were way too many people in there. The customer service was terrible and everytime we needed a hint they were not responsive. The iPad for clues was dead and the batteries for on the clues was dead as well. Never going back. read more

Escape rooms are the new craze. They are fun for family / friends / cooperate events etc. we have done several all over town and actually all over the country. If you haven't done one yet ... what are you waiting on ? This location has several different themed rooms. We chose a Friday night and the bank heist theme. It was pretty crowded and the staff seemed kind of overwhelmed. People scrambling around and going in all different locations. We had 5 in our group and then 2 other people for a total of 7. Once we got started the first room we were in got stuffy / hot very quickly which immediately frustrated most of us. Can't really talk much about the room because I don't want to give away clues but once we finished we found out that we progressed without even getting some of their clues. So we progressed by accident really. The room should be designed to avoid incidents like that. We were not successful in solving the room and when we asked how often it was solved, the employee stated that he can't remember the last time anyone solved it. Matter of fact he doesn't know that anyone has ever solved it. We felt like we got a long way in the hour that we were there but it turns out we weren't anywhere close to actually completing it. I know there is supposed to be a level of difficulty but for the room to be impossible to solve in the hour limit takes the fun out of it and lessens the chance that we will return to try other rooms. read more

I did this as a team building for my management team, so we had to do two separate Rooms. Chase the storm, this one i felt was more complicated then the Zombie room.
